Trying a new tactic with the fundraisers on my pinned list. These campaigns appear to gain a lot more traction when the number of donations hits a thousand, so here's a way to highlight those that could use more. These have all been vetted by Palestinians on Tumblr. Just like the main list, I'll keep you all updated with how things progress, and as always, if you can't donate, reblog.

Iโve seen a lot of posts on my dash tonight about users who are threatening suicide, with other Tumblr members posting in effort to try to get ahold of them. I think you all should see this:
IF THERE IS EVER A TUMBLR USER WHO HAS POSTED A GOOD-BYE MESSAGE, SUICIDE NOTE, VIDEO, OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT, PLEASE FOLLOW THIS POST.
1. Scroll to the top of your dashboard.
2. See the circular question mark icon at the top? Itโs the third one over from your home symbol. Click on that, and a screen similar to the one in the picture will come up.
3. Where you can type in questions, the box with the magnifying glass at the top, type in the word โsuicide.โ
4. Click on the first link that shows up. It should say, โPass the URL of the blog on to us.โ
5. Type in the userโs URL and tell Tumblr admin that the user is contemplating suicide and has posted a message indicating that they are going through with it or will be attempting. Hit send! Tumblr administration will perform a number of actions to contact the user and take the necessary steps to prevent the suicide.
TUMBLR: THIS COULD SAVE A USERโS LIFE. PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE SUICIDE THREATS.
Reblog this to keep other users aware. Suicide isnโt a joke, and neither is someoneโs life. If you didnโt know this, someone else may not, either. Pass it on.
Firsty, thank you for reading this, and I hope youโll get through it and give us the honor of a donation, firstly, and a reblog, secondly. Maybe even a note to any friends you have outside of tumblr!ย
If you donโt care about the history, skip to the bold at the end!ย
This is Temple Emanu-El, in Helena, Montana. At the time it was built, it was the only synagogue between Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Portland, Oregon. It was built with the hard work of the Jewish community that had come west to seek their fortune and stability, having heard that people were more willing to do business with Jews in the West, a place where social strictures were slightly relaxed. This turned out to be true, and the community thrived.ย
This picture resolves small on tumblr, but you can see the love and care they put into it. Itโs modeled after the great synagogues of Europe, with heavy stonework, onion domes, and intricate stained glass. The president of the congregation cried at its opening and dedication.ย
As the years went on, the West became more settled, and for a series of socio-political reasons of which my History of the American West major ass is well aware but are ultimately unimportant to the issue at hand, Jewish communities left much of the interior west for metropolitan areas. By the 1930s, the Jewish community was so small that they could not justify the large and lavish worship center.ย
They sold it to the city for one dollar.ย
The promise made to them was that it would be used for the public good.ย The state readied the former temple for its new function as offices for Social and Rehabilitation Services, sandblasting of the Hebrew inscription, โGate to the Eternal,โ above the entry and removing the star-studded, painted domes.. The copper was stripped from the building and likely reused to re-clad the State Capitolโs dome at about the same time.ย
That lasted all of 40 years, when the State of Montana decided to let it sit idle and decay, so they could justify the sale of the building, sold for a pittance to the public good, to the Helena Catholic Diocese for $83,000ย (this is an opinion of mine, though it is not an uneducated one, and I do firmly believe it. I do not, however, represent that they allowed it to fall into disrepair to justify the sale as objective fact.)ย
This is the building now
In a twist of fate, the diocese can no longer afford to maintain the building. They are selling it, and the Jewish community of Helena is trying to buy it.ย
The Montana Jewish Project is being far far far nicer and more politic about this than I would be, but in fairness, they actually how to get Nice Goyim to donate, and I donโt, so. The Diocese is spinning this as selling the building for much less than its worth, which may be true, but if you bought it for $83,000, that would be $280,000 now.ย
They are selling it for $925,000. And we have to have 70% of the purchase price by February 28th. Easy terms, right?ย
Hereโs where you come in! If the idea of Montanaโs Jews getting back the building that was sold to the Diocese in spite of the original agreement appeals to you, you can and should donate to their capital campaign. They even have an option for your donation where if we donโt get Emanu-El back, your money will be returned to you instead of being used for other MJP protects and repairs.ย
This place wonโt just be used for the Jewish community, though I think that would be enough. They want it to be used as a museum and center for the community as well, to teach about Jewish life in Montana, with Jewish cooking classes, and social programs, and teaching non-Jews about Jewish customs and culture.ย
I just want to get the cross off the top.

queue posts about Palestine to regularly post throughout the week to keep them visible. Check tags like: #strike for gaza, #free gaza, #ceasefire now. I'm going to share posts from Bisan and other Palestinians on instagram.
don't spend money on nonessentials. if you didn't have time to prepare for the strike and still need to get groceries/medicine/etc, get it now to prepare for not spending the rest of the week! striking for even part of the week is better than not participating at all.
read bit.ly/StopGazaGenocide, this is a document put together by the US Campaign for Palestinian Rights (USCPR) with lots of good information and graphics and link to art you can freely use to spread awareness. There is also a link to email your representatives to urge them to stop supporting the occupation and the email is pre-generated! it took me one minute to send emails!
email your representatives that you are striking for Palestine!
keep talking about Palestine. keep reading about Palestine. keep caring about Palestine. If you make even one person pay attention, you've done good work! keep going!
Do what you can! Doing ANYTHING is better than doing nothing.
White allies and white leftists and liberals need to read this.
In regards to posts about racism or intersectionality with race involved you MUST listen. Not respond. LISTEN
What I have seen so many white โalliesโ do is add onto posts (my own included) to put their own thoughts and opinions. In some cases take the words of the original poster and try to โtranslateโ what is being said to other white people.
You are ACTIVELY taking away the voices of poc and speaking over them when you do this. When you tack on your own personal anecdotes or try to to give a definition of what a person or color is saying you are in the simplest of ways insulting their intelligence

These are all actual conversations I had with @mohammedayesh . In fact, while I was working on finishing this comic today, he sent me a video of bomber planes flying above them. There is not a single place in Gaza that is safe.
Please support Mohammed if you can by donating to his campaign or his PayPal below. He is less than โฌ3000 away from his goal of โฌ15,000. If you cannot donate, then please share. Letโs bring him hope that he can evacuate safely!! <3
