I cannot adequately articulate just how incredible this chapter in Lionheart by greenTeacup was. The characters have endless depth and complexity. It’s simply fascinating and beautifully composed. I need to read essays of analysis about this chapter alone…

Today’s writing thoughts:
- Does my use of connected metaphors look like deliberate theming or laziness?
- How and why is my writing so bloody wanky?
- It feels as though I have lived a thousand years while writing this one shot.
- Are my characters OOC in a ‘bad writing’ or ‘conscious canon divergence’ sort of way?
- Is my Tom Riddle hot or creepy or both?
At some point "fanfic can be as good as professional writing" became "fanfic should be as good as professional writing" and that's caused major damage to fandom spaces.
