The stewards are fucking shitting me, another 10 seconds for turn 8 when norris was clearly trying to squeeze max.
I understand for the 2nd scrap but jfc
How do drivers prevent themselves from spinning there?
"You gotta be straight, and it's gonna bottom." Well, that's a contradiction if I've ever heard one, and homophobic.
"It's an easy entry." I bet it is.
I think the pope is a redbull fan.
The rumour of Liberty media telling Redbull to keep Checo is kinda hilarious. Like I'm not buying into it but at the same time it sounds like something they would do.
I just know potentially losing the fanbase of the mexico and cota gps is making Stefano quake in his italian leather loafers. But what is Redbull getting put of this?
The thing is... mental health has always been a problem in sports, especially in such an elite sport as f1. Drivers suffer and cope in different ways and it's important to bring attention to the fact that they are people and can see online hate etc.
But it's funny how no one cared about it untill norris. (he is 100% valid in his experience and emotions, and I'm glad hes talking about it) but THE FANS never actually gave a shit before.
For years jokes (and assumptions) have been made about verstappen's childhood and relationship with kelly in a very negative way, and no one gave a shit.
Hamilton has been the butt of homophobic and racist jokes for years, and no one gave a shit. Checo, Zhou, Albon and Tsunoda have all been subjected to the racism of this sport and its fans.
Leclerc has faced loss in the most devastating way and had to share that with the world, and no one gave a shit. Gasly and Ocon both lost a friend and had to see it be used as a media piece again and again.
Sargeant's treatment from williams was absolutely disgusting, not the firing part, the shit vowles said and how he was treated in general.
Past drivers like rosberg, button, webber have said how they struggled with the pressure. This is still relevant to current drivers.
The weight limit the drivers have to adhere to adding to disordered eating and definitely body image issues. Still fucking relevant.
SO... if we are gonna talk drivers' mental health, it's gotta be as whole. Fans can't pick and choose when mental health issues are relevant to a driver's performance or not. And it does not excuse bad behaviour on or off track.
This is coming from a genuine place, as I have been struggling with depression and anxiety for years. We as fans have a responsibility to also make the sport safe and enjoyable for drivers and fans alike.
Oscar making cute little jokes in the cool down room. Singapore is literally the most taxing race on the grid, where drivers faint and vomit afterwards, and Oscar is just going straight back to his day job as a comedian.
I'm absolutely loving the snark of the vcarb admin. Get his ass!
This is retaliation for Nando's old man antics.
Mclaren ruining my boy Oscar's race. Like why? Max isn't gonna pass Norris, Oscar has no need to defend or anyting.
People already downplaying Max's performance by saying "it's just for sprint", there's still points to be won! You guys went on about the 1 point Danny stopped norris from getting, y'all can sure as fuck see how this is just as, if not more, important.
