If you use arab.org like I do please consider taking the extra 30-60 seconds to click on ALL of their causes. Palestine is important but so are the environment, refugees, children, women, and the impoverished across the middle east and it doesn't take away from Palestine to click for multiple causes. The arab world faces a lot of problems and they only get worsened by how western nations have oppressed and attacked them. Clicking is small but it generates something and overtime it does benefit the greater good. It takes all of us clicking as often as possible but we can do it! It's really easy and safe and they have proofs on their site on how they do make an impact and are donating your click money
Here's how you can help Palestine!!

Ways you can donate to/support families in Palestine:
Arab.org - Just do your daily clicks and you get to donate for free. Please take the time to donate to all of the causes.
Gaza Funds - Every time you refresh the site, it leads you to a different GoFundMe page for the people who need help.

★RESOURCE LINKS AND INFO★ - A google document made from Twitter/X user: para_docx. This includes links, resources, and information for the other ongoing genocides as well.
Some of these documents intersect and have similar resources and links, but I'm adding them just to make sure as they may also have some that aren't listed in this post either.
Free Palestine.
Sad thing I came up for Siegbert since I’ve been watching a bunch of Nuzelocke. In his deep realm he had a pet chicken named Nuggets and a pet Sparrow name Jolbie. And one of the new cooks’ didn’t know this and killed both of them since Siegbert had them have free rane. Then she cooked them up and made it for dinner and since he was a kid he was blissfully unaware that he just ate his bird babies! And the next morning he’s looking for them and asks the nearest person, which just so happens to be, the person who killed both of them. She doesn’t realize her mistake till she tells them she cooked them up for dinner last night. He immediately starts crying and screaming bloody murder, calling her a murderer. His nannies came out and asks what’s happening and tells them that she cooked his babies and that he accidentally ate them because of her. And now she is jobless. And now Siegbert can never eat chicken or bird without thinking about him eating his babies. And the ONE TIME chicken was served he had a mental break down. His family had to ask him as to why he was having a mental breakdown and told them the whole story about how he ate his bird babies and how he was a murderer because of it. And now is now official banned from being served or eaten in front of Siegbert. Which becomes a problem if he’s in Revelations since Shiro LOVES chicken. Shiro thought that rule was dumb & a total joke. THEN he ate chicken AND bird in front of Siegbert and Siegbert had a full blown panic attack saying he killed them. He then gets in trouble with Siegbert’s family because of it.
Please be aware that the "opt-out" choice is just a way to try to appease people. But Tumblr has not been transparent about when has data been sold and shared with AI companies, and there are sources that confirm that data has already been shared before the toggle was even provided to users.
Also, it seems to include data they should not have been able to give under any circumstance, including that of deactivated blogs, private messages and conversations, stuff from private blogs, and so on.
Do not believe that "AI companies will honor the "opt-out request retroactively". Once they've got their hands on your data (and they have), they won't be "honoring" an opt-out option retroactively. There is no way to confirm or deny what data do they have: The fact they are completely opaque on what do they currently "own" and have, means that they can do whatever they want with it. How can you prove they have your data if they don't give everyone free access to see what they've stolen already?
So, yeah, opt out of data sharing, but be aware that this isn't stopping anyone from taking your data. They already have been taking it, before you were given that option. Go and go to Tumblr's Suppport and leave your Feedback on this (politely, but firmly- not everyone in the company is responsible for this.)
Finally: Opt out is not good under any circumstance. Deactivated people can't opt out. People who have lost their passwords can't opt out. People who can't access internet or computers can't opt out. People who had their content reposted can't opt out. Dead people can't opt out. When DeviantArt released their AI image generator, saying that it wasn't trained on people who didn't consent to it, it was proven it could easily replicate the styles of people who had passed away, as seen here. So, yeah. AI companies cannot be trusted to have any sort of respect for people's data and content, because this entire thing is just a data laundering scheme.
Please do reblog for awareness.
Adjusting things in prison.
In 1970, my mother's family adopted an intellectually disabled man named Horace. Horace was 56, and had been in an institution since 1921.
My uncle, who was 19, was working as an orderly at the institution where Horace lived. He only stayed a few months as the abuse he witnessed was too much for him. He had become friends with Horace and told him "I'll come back for you."
Horace replied "They all say that."
By that Christmas, Horace lived with my uncle and his family. My grandparents did the official adoption. Horace had never seen a Christmas tree, and that was his first real Christmas.
Horace died in 2010, at the age of 96. He laid down for a nap and just slipped away.
At least two generations of children grew up with him. He felt immortal to us. He loved Hot Wheels, pizza, cartoons and to talk to the portrait of my grandparents as he sat in his rocking chair.
He knew everyone's birthday. He loved unconditionally.
He had scars on his back from the institutions. If you asked him about that place, his face would screw up and he'd say "oh, it was a bad place. Bad place."
And for 40 years, he was safe, loved, and happy. He loved us in return.
No point to sharing this. But I still miss his laugh as he held a conversation with a portrait, whispering about his day to the people who had helped rescue him.
idk who you are but I saw people sharing their ace attorney dreams to you in the character tags. one time, after a guy got arrested in the parking lot where I worked for drunk driving, I had a dream that same night where I was replaying the events from the outside of the building, and phoenix wright was there, asking me questions and trying to get an idea of what went down.
