Pspsps sorry to bug ya again about the unknown MK movie post but I came with more news!!! The white monkey is referred to as 噬天 "sky-eater" in descriptions, and it seems like the movie is still in production. I've tried doing more research for sky eater, but I think he's a character exclusive to this movie! Also the red and yellow monkey from the concept trailer is Wukong who's getting possessed from reincarnating Sky :3c he could very well be a reincarnation of Six Eared, but I'm just glad he has a name at all tbh.

For proper context (and i just want to talk about him), Alice and Jervis are highschool sweethearts and got married. One day, she gets taken hostage by a villain. She survives, though traumatized, but now Jervis' paranoia starts going CRAZY. Bro uses mind control cards (as a Jervis does), kidnaps Alice, and a bunch of people to make them protect her.... naturally, he gets stopped by Batman. Then Alice, doubly traumatized now that her HUSBAND kidnapped her, divorces him. Then he stalks her (nothing more, just stalking). Bruce Wayne helps get Alice off the grid and likely to a whole nother country.

Jervis keeps being a villain to avoid his feelings. Big yikes for him. Sucks to suck, nerd./affectionate

i don't think Mage's were actually made to suffer, in a way. Mage's are theorized to be the active counterpart to Seer's. So perhaps when Mage's become to passive (such as with Sollux not assisting in saving his friends and PRESUMABLY Meulin not doing....SOMETHING) the game might seek to punish them?

then again, i guess i KINDA have my own form of suffering (and from what i know, quite a few Mages out there)? such as undiagnosed mental illness, or the constant melancholic emptiness in my chest, or maybe me putting the various personified caricatures of myself in undeniably bad and traumatic scenarios leading to suffering of "me" from nothing, or things that are irrelevant to my current self. i think about that one a lot. but what do i know? I'm just some cringy person on the internet taking part in something long dead, and forgotten for the most part

Also speaking of Sollux, keep in mind he is Mage of DOOM. basically he's MENT to suffer, so probably not a good place to pull from, but i mean, what other examples do we HAVE? We know piss all about Meulin and she's the only other canon mage we DO have. so fuck i guess? BLUUUHHHHGGGGG!!!!

Ok, SO! I forgot which chapter it is but in Journey to the West there's a part where Wukong gets cast out and and imposter takes his place, the imposter being the "Six-Eared Macaque" or "Liu Er Mihou" (don't quote me on that I might be wrong)

The Macaque is like Wukong in EVERY. WAY. powers, habits, even small blemishes and scars, he is a perfect clone, even has his own clone companions (which are actually monkies)! But that's not his true form, as his name suggests his actual appearance.

Shit goes down, and Wukong ends up finding out then kills his doppelganger. There's a bunch of stuff about the split mind and whatnot, if ya don't want to read all of Journey to the West, just Google the chapter and have a read of it. Plus Im not going giving an in depth chapter summary so I recommend it.

Now this clip is inspired by the chapter, though normally it would be Sandy (a companion who is a water spirit) who finds out about Macaque first and ends up killing his own doppelganger. BUT given this is an artists interpretation (made by yours truly) things have been changed.

Such as Pigsy trying to take down the "imposter" and Macaque revealing themself just to fuck with him, all the while the real Wukong can hear them. Now I did this purely because I think it's funny, like "who's gonna believe Pigsy?" And that's it.

I don't know if this is what you meant or if I COMPLETELY missed the ball here, but it's just me doing things I think is funny cause I'm fixating on a book that's five hundred years old and have nothing better to do.

I normally put captions on my TikToks so it's easier for people, but made it while thriving off of zero sleep and 4 tortilla's. When I got to editing it was 7am and I had to go to school, so yeah.
