I have a favorite store that I always stop by when I go to Kichijoji. The name of the store is “WATER DOG GARDEN”, the owner is very kind to dogs and has a wide range of goods to help owners enjoy life with their dogs❤️

Anyway, everything is COOL!!!!

I did a lot of shopping and left the store with shopping bags in both hands✨🛍️😂🛍️✨

吉祥寺に行くと必ず立ち寄るお気に入りのお店があります。それはイヌとの暮らしを楽しむためのこだわりの雑貨がぎっしり取り揃えられた「ウォーター・ドッグ・ガーデン」です❤️

てゆーか、ここに行きたいから吉祥寺に行くってのがほんとのとこかもです😂もちろん店内はイヌを連れながら買い物OK！👍🏻✨🐕🐕✨

デザイナー&イラストレーターであるオーナーさんの手によるアイテムがとにかくクールで（しかもうれしい冬物SALE中でした！笑）今回もしこたま買いこんできてしまいましたw

７年前の今日。 記憶から消し去ることのできない一日がありました。

被災地の片隅の町に新居を構えたばかりの僕は、 自宅の２階で震度６の激しい地震に襲われました。 幸い家屋は大きな物的被害を出さずに済みましたが、 時を追うごと、自分の行動範囲を広げるごとに、 遺された爪痕の巨きさとともに、起きた出来事の 深刻さをしみじみ思い知らされることになりました。 あのとき自分が眼にしたもの、感じた怖れや傷み、 胸にこみあげたもどかしいような想いの数々は、 それらを決して忘れてはならないという警めとなり、 いまもなお、心の奥に強く残り続けています。

2018年３月11日、14時46分。 このおだやかな午後のひとときに感謝しながら、 今年も僕の町から、君の町へ。 心からの祈りと友情をこめて。

8 years have passed since the Great East Japan earthquake. We appreciate being able to live a usual life in afternoon soft light this year as well.

Children's laughter echoes cheerfully in the park. Someone is calling someone's name... to share the tenderness warmed in the palm of hand.

And... Flowers will bloom again :-))

My town fills with cherry blossoms. I become a dog and sniff the smell around. I close my eyes, then the smell of spring is felt more and more rich. I wish I could keep such a tender time forever. HUG meets TOKYO DOWN TOWN again #2

The people passing by and the shop owners were all kind and talked to Hug gently.

There were a lot of low-priced and delicious foods on sale, and my most favorite was koppepan (similar to a hot dog bun) from a bakery founded in 1912😋🤎

Next, we headed to the Oshiage(押上) area where the Tokyo Sky Tree stands✨🐾🐾

「下町人情キラキラ橘商店街」は、およそ400メートルの長さの場所にレトロな雰囲気のお店がたくさん軒を連ねています。僕の生家である祖父母の家があった城下町にも、かつてはこんな商店街が賑わいをみせていましたが、住民が少なくなった事ですっかり寂れたシャッター街と化してしまったので、地域共生の場がいまもこうしてしっかりと残っていることに感動をおぼえます。

すれ違う方やお店のオーナーさんがハグに気さくに声をかけてくださり、通りはとっても温かい雰囲気。で、こういう商店街のお惣菜が安くて美味しいんだよね♫というわけで、あれこれテイクアウトで買い物をして近くの公園でいただきました😋アホほど沢山買ったのに食欲が優って写真は一枚も撮らずじまいww

なかでも１番気に入ったのは「ハト屋パン店」のコッペパンでした。キャッチコピー（？）が“ポチもほしがるハト屋のパン”ですから当然ヤラれます（爆）あまりに美味しくて家に持ち帰る分も買い増しww その際に、創業から使っているというイラストがプリントされたトートバッグを売っているのを見つけてしまい、もちろんそちらも購入させていただきました😂

さて、腹拵えも済ませたところで散策再開です。次はスカイツリーがそびえ立つ押上方面へと歩いてゆきます。

North Marine Drive

These photos were taken a while ago. Japan entered the rainy season in early June, and the sun remains hidden somewhere. Sunlight hardly reaches my residence area for more than one month. I never dislike cloudy sky, but I gradually miss the dazzling sun…✨✨

里の櫻 -Cherry blossoms in the village-

Hug had been feeling unwell since mid-March, and her poor condition lasted for about 4 weeks. However, this year, the full-fledged cherry blossoms bloomed quite late, so I was able to enjoy cherry blossom viewing with Hug, who has recovered.

Everything is not just a matter of course. I am deeply grateful for our beautiful and lovable everyday life :-))

３月中旬から４週間ほど、ハグが体調を崩した状態が続いていました。シニア齢になってからなにかしらの病気に罹ると治りが遅くなる傾向にはあったものの、ここまで長引くのは初めてのことで、イヌ飼い達の間では、しばしば愛犬の健康について「13歳の壁」なんていう話題が出るんですけど、ハグもいままさにその年齢であり色々と考えさせられてしまいます。

でも無事に回復してくれ、今年は桜の開花がかなり遅かったおかげで、元気を取り戻したハグと例年通りにお花見散歩ができたことがしみじみとうれしく感じられたのでした🌸😚🐶🌸
