Freak fortress needs a cultural reset. As a huge fan of it, even for myself it’s tiring seeing the same old characters (love them but still), I don’t see this fandom living any longer soon because the drama and how characters are favorited or whole others are long forgotten because their not “mainstream” or “cool”. I know there’s not much content being put for it anymore so maybe that’s why but In all honesty, Freak fortress is dying. As well the fact many creators are leaving the fandom while others quit working on gmod/sfm. As for myself, I’m holding the best I can for my followers to make it but I want to my blog to go into a new direction, like maybe Splatoon or finish my oc ref sheet (again boo). Freak fortress for many of us is something dear and others, it’s something we grew up on. But now it’s 2023, nearly 11 years of Freak fortress if not more. As for myself, like I said I might keep trying to post a few more than I’m moving on. So for those that are staying and keeping this fandom alive, keep going. As for now.

Hello there! As someone who has a little attention span, your stories were really fun to read (especially pure literally being Leon from the resident evil series and seeing him and brutal being super smashed bros across the room was super funny lowkey), your Freak fortress story fun fact, got me through Covid so yea! As much I don’t read, reading yours are really great and as a young freak fortress fan and beginner writer, I look up your work a lot so keep going and stay funky!

Y'know, sometimes I wonder if I've accomplished anything with this blog

My Freaks and the stories I made with them used to get some kind of engagement from my followers. It wasn't a lot, but it was there and I appreciated it for what it was. The original draft of TDCoGM didn't get much traction, but I enjoyed the few people who took the time to read it.

But now, I could post the finale to AF right now and it would be met with crickets.

Idk, I've just been feeling really unmotivated as of late. It feels like "Why am I putting so much effort into this story when no one seems to care?"
