I’m not sure where to begin to be honest? So I’m going to just begin. I think this morning after reading a message my husband had replied to I made up my mind to post about this......as a psa, a share perhaps a rant, maybe a shout out into the void.

Over the last almost 4 years we have had 3 blogs on tumblr. One we deactivated and two that still remain. The blog I am writing from now was created as a back up to other blog when 2019 hit and guidelines on tumblr were changed everyone feared deactivation.

Anyhow we get asked a lot about why we don’t post on other sites where we can show our personal explicit content. There are many reasons but the number one would be the ease of this sites use and that it is the most visually pleasing for us. In addition to that we have busy lives and it’s enough to have other social media as I am sure many of you do in your real lives. Which brings me to the last reason we remain on tumblr and that is for the diversity. There is no other site where I can be laughing my ass off, then crying from something deep hearted and then dripping wet from being so turned on by something sexy. You all get it, I know you do. I do miss being able to post without censorship but it’s not been a deal breaker for us here.

Let me get on track and back to my husband replying to a message from a follower who had asked about my age this morning. Probably the number one question we receive. Let me be clear here that I have no problem sharing my age. I am going to be 49 in a couple of months and am quite aware I am not young nor am I old. It’s important in sharing this that you understand why I post my personal photos. They are legitimately for my husband. I like knowing when he opens our pages that I am the first thing he sees. It’s personal and intimate and something for us. My photos make up for about 10-20% of what I post, 90% of what is on our pages are reblogs from other bloggers like you.

Over the last week we’ve heard I look 65, wrinkled, old, men messaging me telling me to show more skin and questioning what I’ve posted. Let me be clear that I am not insecure and anyone that posts personal photos on the internet is open to criticism. I am ok that people who frequent our pages can have opinions and the above may be true in their eyes. But I felt bad for my husband this morning as I read his reply to this follower in some type of fear I would be hurt. It was so sweet and made my heart swell, but made me want to remind some of you the golden rule.......if you don’t have anything nice to say.......don’t say anything at all.

Spread kindness, show blogs love, but holy shit take your negativeness outside. Go on a run, punch a bag, sweat it out, jerk off and get a release. Just be kind. I know there are women out there who are hurt by words, who will look in the mirror and question what they see after reading negative comments. I am not one of those women. I do not filter my photos. I proudly share my imperfections because they are fucking sexy. Being real is sexy. My body has given life twice and gained and lost over 50 pounds with each child. It is fucking remarkable that it is intact as it is. I have lived through things that I would not wish on my worst enemy. I am here for one reason and one reason only and that’s for him. #takenforhim the tag is for a reason.

I am not sure if it is the state of the world and people have been cooped up and feeling uneasy about the unknown as our world has changed. But man I have had enough. Fuck!!! I hope you feel me. Be kind.

I close this harangue with genuine thanks to anyone who took the time to read this and to all of you who send us the best messages on the regular. We do have amazing followers. I’d hate to shut our messages down but am considering it.
