Merlinverse Interaction Wheel Part 2

Once again, I wanted to explore interactions of our Merlins and OCs. I used different prompts this time. I couldn't add all characters, as some I simply don't know at all. T_T

Regardless, I hope you enjoy the silliness below!

Lavinia accidentally walks in to DK being nude.

And you know what, I even considered for a second to add "being with someone" to the prompt, slightly eyeing DK over there... and here we are. 

Anyway, realistically, nothing much happens. Lavi will utter an "excuse me" and retreat as quickly as possible. And DK seems chill with familiar people, so it won't even come up later on. It's just politely forgotten.

Lavinia has to save the a** of Starhawk.

As with any Merlin, I'd have to come up with something really silly that would result in such a situation. So how about this: Starhawk, his familiars and Lavinia move out to free Valen from some bandits. They agree on a barge in, causing a distraction and then flight procedure. They arrive at their camp, obviously they are outnumbered and they see Valen bound and gagged (he is mostly fine, though). Both Starhawk and Lavi are furious, obviously, and announce in great words their grand rescue fight. The bandits laugh, gently slap Valen's cheeks and say something like: "This prince went down so quickly, and now we have two lil' princesses and their pets attempting to rescue their sweetheart?!" 

And they drag Valen up, bend him over and make a mock-scene of a beheading to taunt the two rescuers. Lavi's ready to charge in, but Starhawk cries out and in such melodramatic posture and throws a hand to his forhead. "No, please, I am going to faint! Don't touch him!"

Again, the bandits laugh out loud, shaking Valen around. "You think we gonna give back your spy just because you--"

And with a thud Starhawk just goes down onto the ground with the most pitiful moan. That's Lavi chance, and she dashes forward to tear away Val from the bandits. But when she turns and both knights are ready to run... they realise Starhawk isn't moving. "Psst, Magister, please, we should leave." Nothing. Meanwhile, the bandits regain their composure and ready their weapons, now slowly moving in on their prey.

Lavi shakes Starhawk by they shoulders. "... he fainted for real..." Valen and Lavi stand for a second and laugh nervously. "Sure, thing, no problem, right?" And then they glance at each other before Valen does his signature move with Lavi's sword while Lavinia summons two Hypofiends behind the bandits backs. Then she drags Starhawk up to drag him away, the two furballs just running around frantically. Valen following behind. When Starhawk comes to in a safe place, Lavi stands with her face hidden in hands next to him. "That distraction was a little too real for my taste." Starhawk sees Valen next to her and shrugs. "It did work, though, right?"

Lavinia is accidentally turned into a hamster by Zelda.

xD So, after their training together, Zelda is preparing everything for a bit of relaxing pottery animal making. Lavi is sorting out past creations on the table already and the box is still filled with more. While Zelda ponders about how life as a small pottery animal must be, Lavinia bends over the box to grab something else, when suddenly.... Zelda sneezes and a large cloud of pixie dust hits Lavi. And before she can do anything about it, she coughs in a high-pitched voice, shoving another tiny pottery bear out of her way. Lavi hears Zelda's voice booming over her. "Lavinia? Where did you... go?" There is but a tiny moment of silence, before both understand. "Magister! I am here! Down in the box!" Zelda leans down to check the contents of the now fallen over box and indeed, Lavinia, as a tiny pottery hamster, waves frantically at her. Zelda is a magnificent presence even before, but NOW, those giant hands gently wrapped around her and Lavinia can't help but feel afraid for her life. "Please don't break me, Magister! Oh, please tell me you can revert his?!" Zelda is super gentle and amused and plays a little with her, pretending to think it through. She gently takes her over to the bar to show Dolly. But as cool as I think Lavinia is in real life, she's freaked out completely right now. She's squeaking and holding on to Zelda's hands for dear life. She only calms down when Zelda reassures her that she can revert the spell, but not before sitting Lavinia on a tiny sofa and giving her a tiny napkin blanket. xDDD

Lavinia has to pick a costume for Sena.

Ah, difficult. Lavi would totally want it to be not just something aesthetically matching to Sena but also have a meaning (to him or her). So anything silly is out of the question. No, it must be something regal, something divine even. Maybe there are a few Esperian famous figures that would offer themselves, like an old king of an era, one or other celestial who's ascension befits Sena's own development ... actually, maybe she might make him an Obsidian Finch. That's just my own impression but I highly respect Talene for her conviction to protect the life that the Obsidian Finches had to die for. A sense of protection and love that Sena shares. One that surpasses any faction or even the gods. However, if Lavi knew that Hogan was to dress up as a hamster, then Sena's attire would match that costume. (Chippy would be Hogan and Hammie would be ...Sena. xD)

Lavinia has to help Sena cover up an accidental corpse in the basement.

This is definitely a glitch. xD I feel like it would be super silly... like poor Philip is asking Sena, as usual, to help him with some mess in his bag and when the magister attempts to untangle the mess, he lashes out a little too forcefully and knocks Philip over, who stumbles backwards in cartoony slow-motion, to then just falls down the steepest cliff right next to Holistone's city walls and that's it. Philip dead. Everyone just stares after him, his bag falling out of Sena's hands. After a good minute or so, Lavi quietly steps up and kicks the bag after Philip. Then turns around and says: "No one saw that. What a lovely day, we should go back."

Sena, drenched in sweat, nods. Game close and restart. Hoping the bug is gone. Only to find it hasn't. Sena is melting into puddles now. Panicked he makes a backup to his registered Email address and completely removes this version of Esperia from existence. And his memory. When he returns, Philip asks him to help with the mess in his bag. Without knowing why, a dreadful shiver runs down his spine and he delays the quest until another day.

Lavinia has to entrust her kid to Rose.

I mean, ALL magisters are pretty responsible chaps but each will treat kids differently. Like, Sena's going to pamper with anything they like, Pirin is gonna drag them into fun fights and events Molpe and Vi are going to have books and story times, maybe even dolls. But Rose? I frankly don't know. I know too little about her. I feel like it should be okay, but also would NOT be surprised if there was a big catch! xDDDD

Lavinia organises a secret party for Celestino.

I am not sure why Lavinia would be chosen to do that because... honestly, she'd just go straight back to the man who knows best: Dionel. And given it's a special party for his son (with some important reason, maybe a baby-shower in light of Tempest arriving soon?) he would never say no to helping Lavi out here. Which, ultimately, means that Lavi won't be doing much at all. xDDDD Are they gonna be successful in keeping it a secret though? Ah, I bet they could. If Valen plays his part and Dionel manages to shrug off any suspicion, then... no problem. ;-)

Magister Merlin Starhawk Info

Magister Merlin Starhawk, aka Merlin, Starhawk, Mage of the Stars, Starry Mage, a lazy bum who forgets to bring mugs out of his room, The Godfather of Magic, among others, is a half-treesprite half-human mage who was born in 200 B.H.W (Before the Hypogean War). 

  He is renowned as the discoverer of magic in around 190 B.H.W, having discovered healing magic by saving his hamster, Hammie, from near death- she later became the first-ever familiar. It is said that Dura herself granted him the key to unlock magic as a mortal. 

  He discovered almost all types of magic, including transformation spells by turning into a starhawk, and glamour spells by binding his chest. 

  He participated in the Hypogean-Celestial War of 1 A.H.W. (After the Hypogean War). It was rumored that he had become a Celestial. 

  After centuries of critical research in magic, astronomy, alchemy, potions, and natural sciences, Magister Merlin Starhawk disappeared in the 15th century A.H.W., often called "The Fall" of the mage, in keeping with the star theme. 

  He first reappeared in 17th century A.H.W., disappeared again, and did so a second time. The legends about the mage continued to spread across the world. 

  The third time, he appeared in the current year 1824 A.H.W. without his memories. He is slowly regaining them, but some are out of reach, as though they are locked away. 

  Hammie knows only that he has been "restarted" thrice, where he was the times he vanished is a mystery to everyone. Not much changed with each restart. 

  But by the third restart, his horns were reduced to nearly imperceptible buds that grow when he finds out more about his past, and binds were placed to keep his incredibly strong magic at bay. 

  Merlin will recover his memories no matter what they might reveal and meet new people along the way. 

  Hopefully, they will steer him clear of repeating his Fall.

Posted this so people have some info on Merlin before I post any fanfics, in case someone is curious or doesn't want to read future ff to get info on him. Bonus random facts I couldn't fit in properly below cut:

  Bonus random facts I couldn't fit in properly but will probably be covered in future fanfic: He's 165cm tall.  He's a vegetarian because he feels bad for animals. He faints... a lot. He's trans and intersex. Collects minerals and watches, and he is obsessed with birds and hamsters. His identity as treesprite-human has been lost over the ages so he hides his ears and horn stubs (which seem to be slowly growing as he regains his memories?) Has an enchanted hat that he seldom takes off. Has a lot of nightmares. Has endless pseudonyms, his latest being "Vulpin" (because he saw a drawing of a fox on a building) upon introduction to Valen. Eventually Valen finds out about the charade though.

Ironically, he has poor long-range vision (about -1 in each eye, but the right sees worse).  Has a penchant for extravagant outfits.  The two golden bands around his hair don't come off.   He went grey at the ripe old age of... 20. His original hair color was bronze, and he wanted to keep his brows dark even after he turned grey, but the spell went awry and now they are permanently jet black along with his lashes. 

  His eyes have always been yellow- a gift from Misarte, according to the wilders.   His mother was a treesprite musician from Vaduso, and his father was an human ex-sailor and merchant from Holistone. His mother was 210 centimeters tall (without her horns, mind you) and his father was 180 centimeters tall. Neither were short, but Merlin is the outlier in terms of height in his family. His grandmothers always blamed it on him not eating enough. He thinks he just lucked out.
