The person I am arguing with just said that they will not be responding to me anymore because they decided that they 'don't have to justify anything anymore'; I guess I'll count this as a win?

I do have to advise everyone who sees this post to NOT go harass them, perhaps they are misguided, but I don't think they are a bad person, they're just doing what they think is right, even if it isn't; I doubt I have enough reach to really worry about anyone harassing them, but the world likes to throw a curveball sometimes.

If I ever get into a Tumblr argument again I'll probably make another blog just for arguments (and politics probably) so that my followers and mutuals don't have to worry about me going politics mode on their feeds.

After 4 months, I have done it, though I might have skipped some stuff (particularly images) and didn't include reblogs to which I added text and image stuff; I might go through my posts one by one and add those and the stuff I may have missed.

As someone who has read Homestuck through its entirety and has friends who also did, I can confirm that if it wasn't for the fact that it accidentally became one of the biggest (if not THE biggest) fandoms out there in the early 2010s, it does NOT seem like the kind of thing that would be that profitable, at least not the original.

As someone indifferent to Homestuck I'm amused by the twitter discourse I keep seeing that "it turns out all hussie really cared about was making money" like okay some of what I'm hearing sounds like he was also a bad employer and that's something but they're still emphasizing him being profit driven as the BIG problem and like....did they really think Homestuck of all things was that much deeper, for that matter do they all assume every movie and video game and TV show they consume is baked with love by a little grandma
