Why don’t I have a friend like this 😍😩💦💦

It’s a cool, breezy day in Brunswick, Georgia. Nothing out of the ordinary happening; people working, and children are in school like any other day. Brunswick is a town about an hour outside of Jacksonville, Florida and if you blink on the interstate you’ll miss it. Don’t blink too hard though; Brunswick is also the home of up and coming song bird Tanae’ Royale. She had a few minutes to chat with us, and I was too excited as this was her first solo interview. Now join us as we put the spotlight on Tanae’ Royale……
Tanae’: Okay, How does the interview work?
Spotlight: Just answer a few questions
Tanae’: Cool beans
Spotlight: let me know when youre ready
Tanae’: I’m ready now…
Spotlight: How old are you, and where are you from?
Tanae’: I’m twenty seven and I’m from Brunswick, Georgia
Spotlight: How would you describe your music?
Tanae’: My music is something everyone can relate to. No matter where you’re from, your age or ethnicity
Spotlight: What made you want to pursue music, and who are your inspirations?
Tanae’: Entertaining has always been my passion. Music makes me happy; it just comes naturally. My musical inspirations are Jazmine Sullivan, Monica, Brandy and K,Michelle. My all time favorite, hands down is Janet Jackson (she’s the total package).
Spotlight: If you could do a collaboration with anyone, who would it be?
Tanae’: Chance the Rapper. I’m always the one that root for the underdog (with him being new to the scene). He doesn’t get much credit but I like him as an artist. I think it would be sweet.
Spotlight: Okay well in your opinion, who is the MOST underrated artist?
Tanae’: This one is kind of tricky. A lot of people give J. Cole his props as an artist but he has yet to win an award. His albums sell and breaks records and, I think he is well overdue. He (in my opinion) gets overlooked when it comes to awards.
Spotlight: Who’s your favorite underground artist?
Tanae’: That would be Kayla Brianna, I’ve been following her on social media.
Spotlight: What are you doing when you aren’t singing/ writing?
Tanae’: Whew! I sing and write a lot. When I’m not doing that, I’m either working or hanging out with family and friends…. I also have a full time responsibility and that’s being a mom! And I love it, couldn’t ask for a better kid.
Spotlight: Where do you see yourself (musically) in three years?
Tanae’: In three years I see myself growing as a brand. I see me getting booked for shows at different locations, with lots of radio play. I’ll have a following built up, so don’t forget this face.
Spotlight: What do you want people to know about you?
Tanae’:I had friends that didn’t and still don’t believe in me but that didn’t nor will it ever stop me. I kept going and it wasn’t easy. Don’t ever stop doing what you love and find another way to make it happen when it gets tough.
Spotlight: It has been a pleasure, and I’m looking forward to future interviews with you. What are your social media handles and how does anyone contact you for booking?
Tanae’: All social media is @tanaeroyale Facebook is tanaeroyalemusic and my website is: tanaeroyale.com
It was indeed my pleasure to interview Miss Tanae’ Royale. She has a very sweet personality and she is very passionate about her music. She seems to be very determined and I’m looking forward to great things from her. She played for me a few snippets of what she’s been working on and I can’t wait to hear the final product.
Stay tuned!
Show her you’re not fucking playing
