Early morning library session 📚
I’ve got some work for my BA thesis planned, some Esperanto, Irish and French! I hope I’ll manage to do everything as soon as possible so that I can go home and have an early lunch!
My first exam (modern history) is Wednesday. Today is Sunday. For the past few days my life has been about study, study and more study. Here’s the best tips I can give you:
Start NOW
Flashcards are the best way to study- you learn while making them AND by revising
Mindmaps are also good for connecting ideas
And because they can be messy
You don’t have time to be neat and meticulous (though go ahead if it helps you)
My advice is to just make it legible enough for YOU
Remember, this is for you
Practice papers are your friend
But let’s be real, you probably don’t have time
So instead of essays do essay plans, for example
Or practice introductions, that’s useful too. It helps you come up with ideas
Take care of yourself, you’re obviously busy, but take breaks for meals at the very least
Start with the hard stuff and then do the easy stuff
For example, I have been revising history during the day and annotating books at night as part of my nighttime reading
Try and get enough sleep while you can
Don’t forget the big picture
Talk to friends & family if you’re feeling anxious
Aim for 100%- Know as much as you possibly can, even if you don’t expect to get 100
Learn the structure of your exams, it’s so much less daunting on the day
Utilise your teachers if you need them
Breathe, it’ll be okay
You got this
Don’t forget to prepare the materials you’ll need
And go ace those exams :)
filling a notebook with random conversation phrases overheard from strangers
writing 100 poems in one week (inspired by @alwaysbringabookwithyou)
creating moodboards for your friends
learning lyrics in a foreign language
reading challenges of any kind
creating playlists for different moods, seasons, times of the day
turning an unused notebook into an art journal
writing short stories on words from a random dictionary page
learning everything about a certain year or historical period
listing 100 places you want to visit
imagining the best version of yourself and jot down first steps to become them
trying and rating new skincare/beauty products

Thanks for making this awesome activity @yuu-chii I crossed out lots more than I thought I would and I had such a hard time deciding if I prefer tea or coffee. I'm a sophomore (10th) in America and I'm very active in theatre and music at my school. I'm also a huge nerd who loves math and science. Thanks for this fun bingo game :)
What a lucky shot! While astrophotographer Fritz Helmut Hemmerich was capturing an image of the Andromeda galaxy, a sand-sized rock from deep space crossed right in front of the camera creating this incredible green streak. Or it was just aliens. 👽

My notes aren’t as nice as other people on here, but whatever they’re good and very extensive. Next week, I might be starting the 100 days of productivity!!
