The way this killed me I s2g đ
Whatâs the offer?
OMG the song Iâve been waiting for FOREVER since she announced Red was the next album to be re-recorded!!!
And it was WELL worth the wait! I was so baffled how she could make a song 10 minutes but itâs so much extra imagery about this failed relationship that all works.
Also, major props for the difference in production to really make it a new song. Absolutely adore it <3Â
Question for the universe:
I am an overweight hetero cis-woman who has been mostly career focused who was just told it's going to be hard to find a guy as a partner since most ambitious men want skinnier women
Can anyone comment whether all hope is lost for me?
Gotta love the holidays
itâs 1981 and youâre in the city getting chased by corrupt copsđźđ»ââïž

Chris Evans responds to Lizzo: âNo shame in a drunk DM đ god knows Iâve done worse on this app lol đ€Šđ»ââïžâ.Â
I'm just curious HOW this interview was even set up? I see that Su Lee has an interview with Soyon An in November so maybe that's why, but given how it wasn't a heavy JATP-oriented conversation, I'm surprised it was organized at all.
LOVED the contrasting energies between Su Lee and Charlie. Like on one hand I was worried it was going to be overwhelming and Charlie may talk over her too much, but they were pretty good with waiting for their turn and listening to each other for the most part (except for some small misunderstandings or missed sarcasm that we're funny to watch). Not to mention Su Lee's energy and self-deprecating humour were all VERY relatable. I think her energy was good for him to help keep some of his thoughts organized (emphasis on some).
I liked the mix of randomness, humour, and introspection in this video. Because it wasn't promoting anything, it was just a nice moment for them to reflect on the impact of the pandemic and coping mechanisms, which is always nice to hear. And it was nice to see Charlie talk about some things seriously and respectfully.
I got so nervous when they were talking about languages that he would make a comment about Su Lee's English being very good (because I even saw that in the comments!) but he didn't and I breathed a sigh of relief lol
LOVED Charlie's general supportive attitude when talking about Su Lee being an overthinker and feeling like her first live gig would be bad. What a gem.
HILARIOUS moments
Su Lee asking if Charlie is "mentally stable" and his reaction
Charlie saying the months in French and Su Lee's reaction
Them talking about her mic set up
Charlie needing to have something in his mouth throughout the interview and his general restlessness (to the point that he pulled a muscle?!)
Them not remembering the name of the "Step Up" movies and Charlie just knowing that if they were talking live, people would step in to help out.
Also, really not here for JAPT Twitter harping on Charlie for calling COVID-19 "a flu" (when he even admitted he wasn't sure). He said a flu, not the flu. It was an honest mistake and you could tell the mixup was because he was trying to make the parallel of the 1918 flu pandemic with COVID-19 and even admitted RIGHT AWAY that he is not an expert on this (which really...he isn't...he's a 22yo actor who probably doesn't know offhand the difference between "a flu" vs. pneumonia). I personally am not a fan of him travelling throughout the pandemic, but it seems like the mask-wearing has improved and he's really been hanging out with the same social bubble. Is this modelling ideal behaviour? No...but he's a generally well-intentioned guy, and the whole idea of "trying to hold him accountable" honestly feels like a waste of time and energy.
HOLY SHIT THE ACTING IN THAT FINALE!!!
Like I was already hyped about Jonathan Majors because I was reading spoilers/reactions, and yes, he KILLED it!
But even Hiddleston in those last 10 minutes MY GOD. You canât just END a show like that....I want more now!!!
OMG Iâm still floored by Shang-Chi and how good it was. Everything people were raving about was absolutely true: the fight choreography, GORGEOUS visuals, the acting, the cultural touches, the fantasy element, the MUSIC (I have certain pieces of the score stuck in my head) GOOD GOD...AND spoilers under the cut....(but this is also a plea for more mutuals to talk about the movie!!!)
Was anyone else just emotionally WRECKED from the second half of the movie onwards? I have no idea whatâs gotten into me but the fact that Wenwuâs motivation was only to âsaveâ Ying Li, even going mad in the process and further hurting his children...as soon as they started talking about Ying Li more and more I couldnât stop crying LOL
I think it was the idea of the lost potential happiness....if only she wasnât killed they couldâve had such a happy family. And yet that was ripped away and everything spiraled and was lost since....Just....UGH...
And I DIDNâT EXPECT the movie to be this emotional since none of the leaks hinted at this being the plot (so much for the tournament lol). But all for the better
If anyone wants to cry along with me over this OR praise the movie hit me up lol
