Aries: the fact that they may take everything a little too personally and erupt in some short bursts of anger...you almost never know when you're gonna say something that offends them

Taurus: you can never get to them to change their stance or opinion on things..they can be extremely materialistic and possessive at times and so obsessed with their own comfort that if you try to change their routine...rip

Gemini: they're definitely charming to a fault, and often alternate between 'naughty' and 'nice'..they're the best at making comments that may appear sweet or innocent but actually meant to be catty or judgemental

Cancer: that they'll never tell you how they're really feeling and instead take all their emotions out on themselves. they'll seclude themselves into a bubble of negativity and mixed emotions and never let you in, often resulting in them appearing moody or even unnecessarily angry at times

Scorpio: how controlling and aggressive they can be.. they're very slow to forget and slow to forgive. they are extremely intuitive and have the ability to size up anyone or any situation in a matter of seconds. they are very unpredictable and may appear silent while experiencing varying intense emotions of anger, despair, or sadness.

Sagittarius: their mouths!! they have no filter..you never know what they are gonna say to you next. their honesty and bluntness can be seen as either a blessing or a curse. they're prone to exaggerating and boasting due to their love for power and status

Capricorn: their pOKer FACE.. they make you wonder if they actually have emotions with how focused and calculative they can be. they have a natural sense to boss people around in the most affective matter..they can inadvertently end up belittling you when talking about their goals and motivations

Aquarius: they can effortlessly make you feel small with their high level of intellect. they require a lot of space and freedom to do what they like and may appear aloof at times

Pisces: that they care...a little bit too much..they can often let their emotions get the best of them and then turn into someone or something they're not. very unpredictable people who at times may appear act childish and innocent while they really have the ability to tear you into pieces

Okay so it said I could choose between any combination of daniel, Armand, lestat and Louis so I chose daniel and Armand sense they are my comfort characters. I was also able to choose between night island and current for timing, I chose night island becouse it meant human daniel was okay. Then as you can tell I drew them ice skating! Because I just thought it would be cute. i do really actually like how it turned out. I still want to add a few finishing touches but for now it’s nice. P.s. sorry I submitted for checkins late, I had to do something with my family

Sea Shanties 101: Let's explore

TYPES OF SHANTIES

If you've any experience in sea shanties, you've probably noticed they don't all sound the same. Some are slow, some are fast, and some are just downright sad! Well there's method behind the melody, and I'm here to tell you all about it!

A shanty frequently contains a CALL, which is what the shantyman would sing out, essentially the verses of the song, and the RESPONSE, which is what the men would sing back. For example in Haul Away Joe: the call is "Louis was the king of France before the revolution," and the response is "heave away, haul away Joe."

One of the first things to keep in mind is that shanties were used most frequently during tasks that required most of the crew. I'm now going to separate these types of work shanties into categories:

CAPSTAN SHANTIES: these shanties were used for repetitive work that was sustained, such as raising the ship's anchor at the capstan. Examples? Randy Dandy-Oh, Drunken Sailor, Eliza Lee, Barrett's Privateers (though this was written long after the age of sail!)

HALYARD SHANTIES: sung during tasks that took a very long time and required a break for a breath before the men started up again, such as hoisting a sail. Examples? Blow the Man Down, Leave Her Johnny, Hanging Johnny (Johnny really took the piss huh)

PUMPING SHANTIES: let's hope you didnt have to do a lot of pumping! Wooden ships were prone to leaking and so pumping out the water was necessary but tiresome work below decks. Examples? Santiana, Pump Shanty (surprise there)

SHORT-HAUL SHANTIES: for quick work, like shortening sails! Examples? Haul Away Joe, Paddy Doyle's Boots, Haul on the Bowline

There's some of our task shanties! Now why don't we go below and see what our off-duty men are getting up to?

Why, they're singing FO'C'SLE SHANTIES! These shanties are stories of life at sea, the work they'd done, the places they'd been, they can tell you a lot about a sailor's life. Examples? Rolling Down to Old Maui, Ben Backstay, All for me Grog

Fun! How about those far away in the polar seas hunting whales? Well I'm glad you asked because this is where we encounter WHALING SHANTIES! And yes, you guessed it, this is where Wellerman comes in! Other examples include Bonnie Ship the Diamond, The Greenland Whaler Fisheries

Now of course the most important rule of sea shanties is to have fun with your buds! Be sure to tell everyone you know about your newly-acquired shanty knowledge!

I know this is very different but I basically stopped talking to 99% of the kids at my school because people don't listen to me and if I do share my opinion and someone listens to me most of the time they don't appreciate my opinion.

Like once in history we were talking about the puritons. ( dont even get me started on the puritons. i have to many opinions on them.)

so we got to the part that told us the only reason they were taught to read was to read the bible and the only thing anyone was aloud to read was the bible.the teacher asked the class what they thought.

she picked a girl whos answer was " its fine becouse the bible is correct."

now i got a little mad and did not wait for the teacher to ask anyone else so i gave my argument without premission. " but if your only aloud to hear of one set of beleifs you cant build your own opinions and challenge your current bleifs. "

The girl responded with " but if it's correct-"

I interrupted her " if the only reason humans are different that animals is because we can have our mind. than stripping away our ability to choose beliefs takes away humanity, it makes you no longer a human. If your thoughts can be recreated you aren't a human. Taking away choice takes away the only distinguishing feature humans and animals. So it doesn't matter what your beliefs are it matters that they are your choice. "

Not to brag but the teacher sided with me. so what all the other kids in my class looked at me like an alien for the rest of the year. Fifth grade was fun it was the year I stopped caring about friendship. Just kidding that happened in second grade. 

Now I've stopped caring about looking normal so people just don't talk to me becouse of that. Who needs more than 2 friends am I right?
