I edited a screenshot from Hazbin, 'cause, oh boy, it hurts to watch the show. Everything is red, detailed, bright, the eye cannot focus properly.
It was. But it doesn't really play a role in why this episode infuriated me. I don't like the fact that the fan didn't apologize to Twilight, although he should have, as I said. And it creates some kind of bad message for the kids, like, "Hey kids! You can violate someone else's space. And if that someone doesn't ask you not to do it directly, then you can continue to violate their space."
My most hated trope in mlp is that Twilight is justifiably angry at something, but she is wrong and in the end she should apologize.
Are Twilight's friends acting irresponsibly and childishly while all their friends and family suffer in slavery? Twilight is such a meany that she was the only one who was serious and tried to take at least some action to save Equestria 😡. Does her annoying fan follow her around and disrespect her personal space, although it's obvious that she's uncomfortable with it? Well, it's her own fault that she didn't say she didn't like it (it sounds very much like victim blaming), so she needs to apologize to him for yelling at him, duh 🙄.
I f#cking hate this trope so much, you can't imagine.
Sketch of design of Hiccup's winter clothes.
As a resident of the cold region of my country, it just freezes me out that none of the characters wear warm clothes when it's cold. Although, according to Hiccup and shown in the tv series and the short film, they live in a very cold climate. But no one even thinks to put on a winter hat!
They have a freaking winter there, but they all wear their usual clothes. But they must catch all possible frostbite and colds!!! And Hiccup, the twins and Astrid should be shivering from the cold because of their thin physique (I'm telling you this as a thin one).
And it seems like in some official comic book their warm clothes were shown, here's Hiccup as an example, but damn, even this doesn't look like very suitable clothes for winter. So I decided to give the riders (well, their fifteen-year-old versions) winter clothes, since their parents can't. The designs are filled purely with my vision and headcannons.
In short, I think Hiccup would have dressed the warmest of the gang. Well, Stoick would have forced him to dress very warmly, believing that his weak and skinny son could easily freeze to death or the wind could easily knock him down.
Drew quick sketch with Hiccup in a dress, just cuz. Maybe I'll draw other riders in dresses.
Sketch of two ✨icons✨ They would definitely be besties, I swear.
Damn. I just noticed that I forgot to add Rarity's cutiemark...
Sketches of Asha's and Starboy's redesigns for my au (well, or the rewrite, I don't know). I wanted Asha and Starboy to contrast with each other. Asha symbolizes the starry night sky, and Star, well, the star (it sounded more beautiful in my head). And speaking of the Starboy. I want to make him more feminine.
Oh? What's it? My httyd oc?
Well yes, it is!
The weirdo of the Berk. A quiet girl, from whom you can't even get a word. And who's always disappearing somewhere. The only people she interacts with are her father and her older brother. A remarkable fact: one day she pushed Snotlout down the stairs of the Great Hall (fortunately, he survived) for unknown reasons.
Silje dreams of literally becoming invisible and minding her own business. If only there was a dragon that could turn invisible (wink, wink), right?
(Sorry if her description sounded edgy and cringey. I just don't know how to briefly and clearly describe the characters).
(y'know, I'd rename her, for example, Valkyrie or Veronica, something like that).
I was kind of trying to make their designs animation-friendly. Did it work out?
Oh, and here are these two standing side by side.
For a long time, I was confused by the fact that Stolas, knowing how abusive his wife is, quite calmly lets Octavia see her.
And then, when he found out that Stella had hired a hitman to kill him, he didn't discuss it with his daughter (and didn't make this fact public at all, although it was very necessary. Like, seriously, who stopped him from saying at the trial that Stella tried to kill him?).
Like, you stupid owl, don't you realize that by not telling your daughter about how dangerous her mother is, you're putting her (Octavia) in danger? After all, if Octavia doesn't know that Stella can harm her, that makes her (Octavia) a very easy target.
And again, an example of what a «good» father Stolass is.
A quick sketch.
Any idea why they're shocked?
I like the doll, but not the outfit. It looks ridiculous. Especially in comparison with concept art, the outfit in it looks really like what a pop star would wear. The problem with the final version, as for me, is in the shade of pink, boots and sleeves. Pink is too bright and there is too much of it on accessories, silver boots would look better, and sleeves... They just look ridiculous, okay? And so, this is a normal doll. Waiting for even more new Catty.
