so i’ve just started putting in effort to make all my notes in all subjects neat and have figured out the following things: - writing scrawled across notebook pages are aesthetic too - its not just for the aesthetic it actually really helps in studying too and most importantly you don’t need expensive stationary honestly anything will do. for the dark academics and studyblrs who aren’t able to afford muji pens and stabilo highlighters here are a few tips - a pen and a ruler (and maybe a single colored pen and/or highlighter) will be more than enough - be creative with what you already have ( writing your title and subheadings differently with a lil effort or a cloud bubble round a key fact can make all the difference believe it or not) if you really really want pastels and such here’s some dupes highlighters: https://www.wilko.com/en-uk/wilko-chunky-pastel-highlighter-4-pack/p/0481344
https://www.wilko.com/en-uk/wilko-slim-highlighters-pastel-4-pack/p/0481346 https://www.therange.co.uk/stationery/pens-and-pencils/pens/highlighters/pack-of-six-pastel-highlighters/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIjtfZ3IC25gIVx7HtCh1uoQOUEAQYCSABEgJAOfD_BwE#203958 pens: i honestly think any good pen will do (when i say good i mean a pen that doesn’t smudge and runs relatively smooth ) so basically any ballpoint pen but if ya really wanna know then these are the ones i’ve been using lately https://www.wilko.com/en-uk/paper-mate-inkjoy-black-ballpoint-pens-8-pack/p/0432408 not the exact ones but as close as i could find i hope you found this post helpful! ~til next time Amimi

- dancing in the rain, no music, just heavy heavy rain - being surprised with glow in the dark stars stuck on the ceiling in pitch black while leaning on one another - learning to ice/roller skate with your partner - blanket forts and pjs, watching whatever cheesy movies you used to love as a kid - bike rides at night, preferably when its sweater weather season - nerf gun wars while diving behind furniture ( or level that up to paintballing as a team ) - aquariums ( standing together in dark spots surrounded by the dim glow of the tanks is the most romantic thing ) - last but not least, romantic and simplistic, just talking while sitting down and facing eachother for hours and hours (this wasn’t a dark academic post like normal but oh well lol - if you liked this post you’ll also like the post i did titled da dates noone will do w/ me - check that out!) - Amimi

i love and hate having a crush, idk why my heart feels heavy. like im not that good at speaking to people irl but i'm crazy over text, but with him i'm so nervous i can't even do that? its a different kind of torture - and then the few times everything goes well though i'm super happy but then also scared to death of saying something wrong so i pretend to fall asleep or be busy or something like that. it's weird how i feel like i'm barely hanging on to composure and he's nonchalant and uncaring
bruh, do your work to *the best of your ability* and then enjoy your break, we don’t like slackers who do everything last minute (remember to take breaks inbetween short periods of working)
Sun 10 July 2022, 3pm the alliteration for the title came so smoothly its silly. this isn't a monthly recap but i just felt like dumping so here i am. i just read a short story called The Girl He Left Behind (10/10 would recommend) and am ugly crying. Induction Week came and went a lot quicker then I thought it would. overall, pretty good! i love all my subjects and the people in all 3 of my classes are great! there was some ugly stuff that reared its head right towards the end but i'm trying my best to pay it no mind. so it's been officially decided on fine art, media and sociology! i'm just waiting on gcse results, despite definitely not getting the grades i wanted in sociology due to a spontaneous breakdown during the second exam from stress, but on the very positive side i'm pretty sure i still passed which is all you really need to study it at a level. i'm doing two more creative subjects and one pretty hard essay based subject to even out, which i think is a pretty good mix! for transition work over the summer i've got a personal sketchbook to fill for fine art, a presentation to make about myself for media and then some tasks that are yet to be set for sociology. one of the themes for the sketchbook is films/tv which i'm super stoked for - i think i'll post about the sketchbook and media presentation a lot on here as i make it and the final result aswell. that's all for now! Amina
i love books i love movies i love essays i love articles i love videos i love science i love art i love cultures i love history i love knowledge i love learning <3
my laptop broke a week and a half ago and my teachers were to say the least *unsympathetic*. i’m really behind on online work (especially, science, french and maths) like i feel motivated, especially since i’ve come across the “eat the frog” method but the minute i sit in front of my work, its as if my hands can’t move and my brain just walks on out me? i’m determined to get back on track through this half term holiday though. wish me luck! til next time Amimi
