Last night, while talking to my boyfriend on the phone, I quizzed him on movies, and now my mind is clouded by tons of favorite quotes and scenes from a menagerie of films. Now I sit, trying to decide what to watch...
The Princess Bride
The Sandlot
Hocus Pocus
The Big Lebowski
Stoker
Death Proof (and let's face it, any Tarantino film ever)
Midnight in Paris
Cloud Atlas
Pan's Labyrinth (and like all Guillermo Del Toro films)
The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert
Alien
Blade Runner
Casablanca
Breakfast at Tiffany's
Amelie
and so much more...
.......Well, there's only one option. Close the blinds, call in sick for work, order out, and watch all of them!!!!!
Preach.
1. Casablanca
2. Breakfast at Tiffany's
3. Gentleman Prefer Blondes
4. African Queen
It's classic film Sunday!!!!
This will forever be what I imagine when I think of these two interacting.
dang gurl u so fly
haven’t drawn fanart of this for ages
Was coming home on the bus the other day, and decided to do these really rough pen sketches of my gemsona: Morganite. The stone morganite tends to be more pink to pink-orange to lilac, but I did more of an orange red color on accident.
Morganite was created in Kindergarten, but fought with the Crystal Gems. His weapon is a basket handle sword, and he also possesses super speed and mild mental persuasion. He’s calm, collected, and fun but tends to be distant. He got along well with all the Crystal Gems, but never really felt like he fit in with them. Similar to Amethyst, Morganite felt guilty for his origins. So Morganite took off a while after the war, deciding it was the best for everyone. He now secretly lives in Forest Town- defeating corrupted and broken gems there. He also does research and investigations into gem culture and technology that was left on Earth, yearning for an understanding of a home he was born away from. Occasionally he sneaks back to Beach City to see the other gems and Steven from a distance.
Consider:
Victorian England: 1837-1901
American Old West: 1803-1912
Meiji Restoration: 1868-1912
French privateering in the Gulf of Mexico: ended circa 1830
Conclusion: an adventuring party consisting of a Victorian gentleman thief, an Old West gunslinger, a disgraced former samurai, and an elderly French pirate is actually 100% historically plausible.
Went Christmas shopping with my mom yesterday, and took this gem. Hahaha
From Alaska, went to school in Oregon, now live in Minneapolis. Love reading, hiking, and Pushing Daisies.
