6.11morning roti canai breakfast. rabbit hole of social media. chemistry notes. lunch longbeans spicy, ginger chicken yum, sour potato slices, naipak. banana. ttdi library hehe so cun cuz absolute focus, j rock n phonk. had a blast playing w my stickers. so cold. went to 1u mr diy so happy hehee felt like myself again. bata shoe kinda meh. burger king stalk st nicholas school acc see what shoe they wear haha. so fun went to inside scoop the cashier so friendly. blueberry yogurt, coffee almond fudge & raspberry sorbet. yum. went to hobility n stayed there for so fucking long Helpppp it was at least 20 mins there i was investigating evey fucking product HAHAHA. it was the first time i did sth like this cuz there were no salesmen n i enjoyed it so much. esp talking abt ultraman n jia tong to dad. "yo wtf ultraman is my generation one lol". hehe so many cute figures. and wafers, gachapon, pre order shit. lolol so ecstatic exploring the damn shop until dad realised xiao gu was here as well. we walked to pjpac and next gen theme park. lolol talked to her there it was so comforting and reality sank in - goingyo sg tmr. not that scared and sad anymore. dinner waisekai so happy hehe. took pics. lou shu fun soup fishball. sugarcane water. talking to liyeen so fun. went 1u again refund brush hehe.

Diary of 4th April 2022

today was very high spirited.

i ate wan ton mee in a hawker stall (it was ok idk if i didn't like it much because i felt irritated or what) and i saw a worker there that looked like the superidoldexiaorong guy. the buff type wearing a sporty white shirt and gel hair with the same face...

my dad drove us home after eating bc he wanted to drag the laundry under the roof in case it rains. i watched and played valorant for a while (im not good at it dont tell me to 1v1). i unlocked yoru today~~

at 1.30 we went to 1u mall for my outing with my beloved! my parents went to daiso bc we were searching for wet wipes (my dad used some today and they were dry and easily broken apart..) we checked coffee bean 3 times but my beloved not there! so we took the lift up a level and then she say she cannot find me so i go down and she greeted me under the elevator!

first we went to popular bookstore. we did nothing really there. we were contemplating so hard whether to buy llaollao and share but we didnt!!! we are cheapskate. we went to toysrus later to laugh at kids toys... then we went to a furniture store to walk around (it was boring). we also went to AEON food court hehe... the fried food and donburis looked so good... the onigiri were rm3.10. later we passed by a sushi store with vacant seats so i told her i'd buy one and the worker seemed so skeptical when i said "ya one only,"... the people in front of me buy like 6 sushi!!! when i finish paying and walked towards the seat two dudes walked in front of us and SAT ON THE CHAIR!! omg... we were 3 seconds late. we found a bench next to the store and i opened the onigiri improperly... it was so good though.

we were going to find this super popular roller-skating place many popular people go to but found nothing!!! then we accidentally encountered the shop once we descended from the escalator.. so many people were walking towards it. we peeped from outside and said "ewww" to appear special.

we also passed by a bakery.. it looked so good the croissants were all covered in flour, marshmallows, cream and strawberry.. rm8.50!! idk what's our problem, always looking at food and never buying anything. then, we walked inside a convenience store and found a table to sit. someone before us left their finished vitagen and pocky there so we sat on the table and pretended that it was our garbage so they wouldnt kick us out LOL!

then we went to aeon again to meet up with her mom and buy her a stick of bread to eat finally... and i went home!! not really. my parents brought me to tesco next.

TESCO IS SO GOOD I REPEATTT,T... THE FOOD SECTION IS SO MAGICAL! so many bread and donuts and suga.r... at a cheap price!! so i can always tell my parents i want something and they'll buy it!! i also bought a checkered sweatpant for rm22. by then im having a lot of period pain and swollen puthylips so i just wish they'd stop fussing over what panties are the best when they're the same design and size lol.... they ditched the panties and checked out thankfully.

while nearing our car we found an orange juice vending machine!! rm6, 3 oranges and fun process to watch it turn into juice. No preservatives, sugar or water!! pure juice! now that's a deal~~ the paper cup is a real bijin too. ITS SO GOOD I TELL U. TO ANYONE WHO LIVES NEAR LOTUS @ MUTIARA DAMANSARA U HAVE TO TRY THE VENDING MACHINE!!!!

after that my dad took us to kota damansara to another hawker stall. my chicken rice was rm6.50 and it was so good!! the rice was yellow and got a lot and the chicken was piled up over cucumber slices so it looked like there were a lot of chicken. the soup is nice as well it tastes homemade. when we walked to our car (very far away) it was raining and fun. we were running and laughing while admiring the scenery~

diary of 11 april 2022

today my dad got vegan sweet and sour pork and other things but i highlighted this because IT WAS SO DAMN GOOD!! sometimes its stale but today's was crunchy and tasty~~

i don't know why i have such an urge to appeal to the male gaze right now. its like im wishing someone would notice me, so i do things i wouldn't do if i was alone.

i really like my art right now (so good!) and i've noticed i draw a lot of baseball nowadays. (i haven't even held a softball). my best deskmate called me pretty hehehe. a few days ago i dropped my pen and my deskmate (stranger) help me pick it up and i forgot to thank her so now i'm feeling super guilty. in break i stared at her and smiled and she said "zmk!??!" with sussy expression it was so cute.

in math teacher asked us a question on expansion of linear equations and the dude she called first got it wrong (but only a bit, he got positive number when it was -7) and afterwards someone whispered the correct answer. teacher looked at the namelist again and called. . ME!!! i spoke the correct answer loud and crisp an clear but i don't think i impressed anybody to be honest it was a lvl2 question, just a level above the basics. and the answer was basically announced before i said it, but my voice made it seem like something new, i guess.

when pe started me and li ting planned to go to the loo together but teacher said only one of us could go at a time. i took the pass first (and a strip of toilet paper from her hahaha..) and walked to the toilet. i ran back after i was done. it was raining lightly but i felt greatly uncomfortable bc when she went to the toilet she gave me a basketball. the ball was wet like a cold orange.

we were moved to the foyer because of the rain. me and liyeen arm wrestled each other and after i won liting challenged me... she is so strpng!!!!! after that i did like 2 sit ups and li ting said i was cute. since the floor we arm wrestled on felt like bricks, my elbow felt really uncomfortable (i already had a blister beforehand). later liting and adrie received volleyballs for many rounds and me and liyeen just stared at them playing while gossiping.

the rest of an hour was boring. i was deciding between joining liting in receiving balls (😧) or continue talking to liyeen. i crave excitement and liyeen is serving but idk why at that time i wanted to join her so much. looking back, i think talking to her was best. when the last bell rang we were forced to sit down in the foyer according to classroom and gender. i sat next to xxx... originally i was facing his side profile bc i was sitting sideways and it got awkward bc i was opening my legs so i turned the other way with the help of liting! she is so nice how is this possiblw!!!

i walked back home with my dad i don't know why i was so uncomfortable. i felt so worn out even though i didn't even exercise. for dinner my dad steamed brown rice and frozen siew mai.

it starts off extremely heavy. dark colours, red lights. rainy atmosphere, gothic aesthetic, loud OSTs, batman walking around with heavy footsteps hitting bad guys in his stiff armor. there was this feel. so... renaissance! i love it.

but i feel like after the 1.5 hour mark things get more.. normal? maybe i just got used to the spectacular directing, i don't know. i just got less overwhelmed and more like, i knew they would pull this off, not surprised. there were still times where they synced the sound effects of batman slamming this guy's head to a car with the beat of the OST which were really sneaky and cool.

i know it's a heroes movie and there is no good ending without a "lesson on morals" at the end with batman spitting a whole morals thesis but it was so.. hero-like. not my style!

OST - perfectly timed, catchy, mysterious.

STORY - interesting with the riddle thing but when bruce slowly progressed through the riddles it got boring. pattinson makes a good batman though! really love the threatening alpha thing he has going on. xoxo

SONGS - if my memory serves me right they only played one song in this movie. two times. and i liked it! so it's okay...!

AESTHETICS - OMG!!! 10/10.... !!!!! upbeat colours, beautiful settings, graphics.. visuals...

i woke up from a dream that i was in kinokuniya and checking out an official sketch of asuka from the animators of evangelion for rm169 after looking at a really thick art book. IT WAS HEAVEN!! i recall not wanting to wake up bc of how heavenly jt was and because i thought about waking up, i actually woke up. DANG!!"#!#!

i sat in the living room for so long and only went out to eat at 12. i got jean first thing in the morning (12am), on her birthday!!!! i "broke down" because i didn't know whether to eat at my favourite western restaurant or at mcdonalds. we were going to stop by my M grandmother's house for lunch again so i can't order anything too lavish but i also wanted to eat in the restaurant!!! i can't eat anything non luxurious in there... my parents made the decision for me.😇

set meal: garlic bread and mushroom soup, fillet o fish in sour oil (for me), two scoops of ice cream (vanilla n chocolate chip).

oh my dar. was my grandmother's dishes tasty! garlic prawn (it was so good the flesh tasted salty and springy even without its shell), yaumak, broccoli and carrots, fried chicken, sweet and sour chicken...

we sat in her house for so long because it was raining dog and cat😒😒😒. i wanted to go back so bad but i couldn't. i mostly read and surfed the internet there. (and watched two episodes of sasaki and miyano...)

when i came back to my P grandparents' house i immediately dashed toward my laptop bc i downloaded valorant this afternoon. i waited for my dad and mom to finish showering while playing a practice match. i suck at this game, never playing again.

dinner was ok i really liked the potatos and rice! while it was raining the mama cat was letting her kitten snug into her tummy for a few hours. its so darn cute!!

after dinner i spent all my time relentlessly scrolling through shopee in hopes of finding good sanrio gifts for my friend whose birthday passed two days ago. until now. its 23:04!!! and i think I've found it.

this fic absolutely ran away with me, it was only meant to be the rain scene and then whoops i had 2k words written 😭😭 i just get,,,, very soft for Albedo, apparently. also sof if u see this i pushed to get this finished quicker for u so u could read it ❤

"We're going to get soaked," Albedo complained as you tugged on his hand, pulling him out of his office. He didn't try to let go, though, willingly following you regardless. He would have followed even if you were leading him straight into hellfire. 

"It'll be fun, I promise!" You beamed, a bounce in your step as you guided your partner outside.

The rain was pouring down heavily and Albedo sighed as the front of his hair was almost immediately flattened into his eyes, obscuring his sight. You hadn't fared as well either, but you were already mostly waterlogged from travelling to see him in the first place so it hadn't been as extreme of a difference. 

With heavy hands, he pushed his hair out of his face, letting it slick back against the sides rather than remaining plastered across his forehead. You were already lost in yourself a little further ahead of him, the enthusiasm never once leaving your steps as you bounded through the soaking streets of Mondstat with a gentle laugh. 

Albedo's feet sank against the drenched stone paving, little splashes of water flicking out under the soles of his boots. He spent a moment observing the way that the droplets rippled out from one another, some constructively interfering and causing larger splashes, some pattering out quickly into nothingness. For a while, he was lost in thought as he followed after you, until you finally snapped him back to reality with a little wave of your hand in front of his face.

"We're here," you declared triumphantly, gesturing out into the open space around you. 

You'd taken him all the way towards the cathedral, to the wide open square that housed the towering statue of Barbatos. He noted that the rainwater was cascading heavier from between the open palms of the statue, causing louder and larger splashes on the ground below. You didn't seem to care, eagerly running around in the space with a gleeful whoop as you splayed your arms out in the air and simply just enjoyed the time you were having. 

The downpour hadn't once cleared up and Albedo was certain that you'd have some serious drying off to do in front of a warm fire later to avoid catching a cold. Not that he couldn't just make up a few concoctions to make you feel better if you did get sick, but he decided he'd rather avoid the probability entirely. 

Almost as if to prove his point, a significantly large gathering of water sloshed unceremoniously down from the top of the statue and plopped tremendously atop your unsuspecting head. You let out a yelp of surprise, somehow now even more impossibly soaked through than you already were.

It surprisingly didn't change just how stunning you looked in the moment, though. If anything, the glistening droplets of rain reflecting in the fragments of light peeking through the grey clouds overhead gave you an extra layer of etheralism that had him close to blushing. 

"You're beautiful." He couldn't help himself from making the comment. It was an astute observation, like everything else he had noticed on the walk there. You really were the most breathtaking person he knew, so why wouldn't he let you know?

"Flatterer," you laughed, moving back over to him only to scoop his hands into yours. "Dance with me?" 

"Of course," he obliged. 

Sure, there was no music. That hadn't stopped you before so it certainly wouldn't stop him now.

Albedo wasn't necessarily adept with the concept of dancing, at least not in the traditional sense. His years of training as a swordsman had helped his footwork, naturally, so it wasn't possible for him to falter too badly. It had been a while since he had had a partner as proficient as you, though. Klee managed to keep him on his toes- literally sometimes- by insisting he teach her how to dance and then proceeding to simply drag him around the room a few times, but it was nothing compared to genuinely trying to dance with another person. 

"You don't need to be perfect at this, you know," you let out a laugh as he tried to lead you in a slow waltz. 

"I am aware," he admitted. "But you deserve nothing less."

"Just let yourself have fun, Mr. Perfectionist," you grinned, switching up your movement to pull him into a twirl. 

You were leading him now, dancing him around in a circle past all the bright cecelias that were planted around the foot of the statue. They were almost as pretty to look at as you, but Albedo knew they'd never quite match your elegance and charm. Your hands placed gently on his body, one on his shoulder and the other just over his hip, felt so warm against him. It was a shocking change to the bone-chill he could sense from the damp soaking deep into every single fiber of his being. It was welcome, though, and your touch felt like home to him. 

Home.

He considered "home" to be the land he was created in, the land he no longer got to see. Home was meant to be where you were from, right? So why did you, a person who had let themselves into his life like an absolute whirlwind and consumed his entire being until you were all that was left, feel the exact same way? 

You had become a comfort, not unlike the blissful warmth of settling down before a fire deep in the harshest snowstorms that wracked through Dragonspine. Like the early dew in the morning gracing the blades of grass that Albedo did so like to sit out and sketch when the sun was just rising. You were ephemeral, fleeting, but at the same time you were strong and grounding, like an anchor keeping him steady. He never quite realised how much he liked feeling stable. 

Yet here, now, with you, he let himself enjoy it all at once. The feeling that he always felt when he was with you, that glorious encompassing feeling of home. It threatened to swallow him whole and never let him go. And he would gladly let it, without hesitation. 

He laughed. For maybe the first time that you had ever heard him do so, he let out the most genuine laugh that he ever had. The rain was still cascading down in rivers across him, forcing him to blink hard to get the water away as he threw his head back towards the sky. You watched him with keen interest for a moment, bewildered by the sudden display of emotion, but once you had settled you laughed along with him. 

Never once did you stop dancing, out in the rain like that together. You both kept going until you were too tired to move any more, until you were practically dragging yourselves back through the wet streets home. 

Home. That elusive word yet again. 

This was your house that Albedo was currently crossing through the threshold of, closing the door carefully behind him as you went ahead to start up the fireplace. It was your sofa that you piled some blankets onto, your dining chair that you slowly and cautiously spread out your soaking wet outer clothes to dry upon. 

Everything was familiar to him of course, he had been invited into your house many times even before you were courting, but it all belonged to you. It wasn't for the both of you. 

It could be, though, he let himself think. Perhaps one day, some of his paperwork could be laid upon that dining room table. The cup he usually used half to death for coffee before finally washing it out every time could be sat neatly on the countertop, perhaps next to your own. His coat could be hung up on the hook beside your front door, next to where your own currently rested. 

"-e that," you said, but he didn't quite catch it. 

When had he let himself get so lost in his own imagination around you? You really must have had such a strong effect on him, for him to even be thinking about sharing his life with you in such a way. 

"Hey, Albedo," you called out to him again. This time, he actually turned to you. 

"I'm sorry, what did you want?" 

"Give me that," you held out your hand, gesturing towards his coat. "You're still drenched, I'm not letting you stay here if you're going to drip all over my carpets."

He passed it over wordlessly, peeling the fabric back off of his arms and handing it to you. You gave him a warm smile, such a beautiful smile, one that never failed to elicit a similar one from him in response, as you moved off to hang his coat up to dry. 

It was next to yours, just as he had been imagining only seconds prior. He had to admit, they looked good together. Like they were meant to be there. 

"C'mon," you urged as you returned, ushering him back towards the sofa. 

He sat first, at your behest, and let you plonk yourself down by his side. You stayed where you were for a moment, before fidgeting and eventually shifting all the way until you had your head resting on his shoulder. 

"Your hair is still wet," he noted, which made you giggle. 

"Yeah of course it is, we were out there for like an hour." You wrapped your arms around his middle, settling down as comfortably as you could manage. 

It wasn't the first time the two of you had cuddled in such a way on your sofa (yours, not a shared entity), but this time Albedo just couldn't seem to find the right way to place his own hands. He settled, eventually, for draping one arm gently across you and using the other to hold onto the hand of yours that had come to a rest across his stomach. 

"You seem really off today Bedo," you hummed, tilting your head up to glance at him.

He met your eyes with a smile. "I'm fine, love, don't you worry."

Love. 

He hadn't ever called you that before. Why did it feel so right, now?

"Love?" You repeated, a sheepish smile spreading across your face. 

"Do you not like it?" He asked, suddenly wondering if he had said something wrong. Before you, he never would have been so worried about something so small.

"No, I," you hesitated. "I love it."

"Was that meant to be a joke?" Albedo mused, moving to press a kiss to your forehead. He wasn't sure what had compelled him to do that right then and there but it just felt right.

Felt. Feelings were difficult, a concept that Albedo knew about in abundance- but still could never quite grasp. Even though he knew he was happy with you, happy interacting with you in a more-than-platonic manner, he never seemed to get a decent understanding of how he felt about you. You had told him several times how he made you feel, not to the point of saying those specific little three words, but it was close enough. He knew you cared for him, deeply at that. Why else would you have been so patient with him all this time?

"I love you," he uttered out at last, after what felt like he was thinking for hours. Really, it had likely not been much longer than a few seconds.

You stopped what you were doing, mindlessly twining and unlocking your fingers with his, to gaze up into his eyes. The slight part of your lips expressed your shock brilliantly as you stuttered to try and get a response out. 

"I love you too," you replied at last, after fumbling around the words for a while. "I love you so much, you don't even know."

"I think I can imagine," Albedo smiled, leaning down to pull you into a searing kiss.

Yes. Love was definitely what he felt. There was no other way to describe it, the overwhelming feeling he got whenever he looked at you. The feeling that desperately ached in his chest whenever you weren't around him. It was the feeling that made him want to stay there like that with you for an eternity, even despite the inclination to keep working on his research. It was the feeling of the first day of spring after a perilous winter, of the very first leaves tumbling off of their trees in autumn. 

The feeling of home. 

And he wanted to make a home with you, no matter what.
