Facing the Struggle as Queer Transgender Refugees ,We Need your kind support š³ļøāā§ļøš³ļøāš
Hi there,
Iām AshleymilesPhil, a transgender queer refugee, and Iām reaching out with an urgent plea. Life in the refugee camp is unimaginably harsh for our LGBTIQ community. Daily persecution is constantly hanging over our necks, and weāre battling diseases like malaria, tuberculosis, typhoid, HIV/AIDS, and cholera. Combined with extreme shortages of food, clean water, medicine, and safe shelter, every single day is a fight for survival.
Your support can make a life-saving difference. Any donation, no matter how small, can help provide essentials like food, clean water, and medical care for our community. If youāre in a position to give, please consider contributing to our GoFundMe:
ā”ļø https://gofund.me/4d80b32c
If donating isnāt possible, you can still make a huge impact by reblogging or sharing one of my pinned posts. Spreading the word helps amplify our voices, which have been silenced for far too long.
Thank you for your compassion, kindness, and for standing with us in this fight for survival. Your support, whether through donations or sharing our story, means the world to us.
With gratitude,
AshleymilesPhil
I'll put it up to spread the word, because unfortunately, I don't have the money to donate. I hope you and your loved ones get through this rough time okay!
Basically a fanfic of Batman Beyond and Batman the animated series. Almost a crossover, I guess? I donāt know what you would call it tbh.
Idk, I had this idea and wanted to put it down somewhere and shareĀ ācuz I thought it was neat.
Not sure about trigger warnings? I donāt think thereās anything worth warning about tbh. Iāll edit though if anyone says it might need one.
(Read below)
Basically, Terry runs into a villain one night while dealing with what he thought was a normal case.
Perhaps heās going after some thugs, who basically explain to him in a panic that the person their working for is someone who shouldnāt still be alive. Terry dismisses this, maybe give him a one liner about how heās dealt with that type before. āOh, have you now?ā a vocie from the darkness. Then, from the shadows, comes BTAS Scarecrow.
Terry is horrified and shocked. Remembering very vividly Bruce describing someone like this from when he was Batman. He goes after him, unmasks him expecting to see a copycat, but heās no imposter. He looks exactly like he did in BTAS even, not a grey hair in sight. Scarecrow manages to get away, but Terry is more than just a little confused.
Whatās worse? During the fight, this Scarecrow manages to break Terryās wrist simply be grabbing it. Certainly not something Scarecrow couldāve done before.
Bruce already knows about it, having seen someone that looks like Poison Ivy on the news.
They quickly realize just about the entire rogues gallery is back, all of them exactly like they were back in the day, with every memory and fully intact personalities...mostly. You see, some of them have some slight differences. Joker and Harley for instance. Somehow, for some reason, this Joker actually does love Harley and the two are pretty much partners in crime. (Bonnie and Clyde style.)
They confront another imposter in this city, a Batman clone, who, once Bruce appears on the scene, is far more willing to help them figure out whatās going on.
And during a fight with the clone Joker, something happens. Dramatic scene ensues, where Harley is caught in the face by a batarang. She gets up, only to see her reflection in a nearby window, with half of her face torn away, to reveal mech under her skin. Itās here we realize these clones are bio-mechanical copies of the old rogues. Harley panics, Joker realizes what just happened, and they both get away.
Bruce, Bio-mech Batman, and Terry all find out where the bio-mechs came from, while the bio-mech rogues also track down this place (Having woke up dropped in Gotham in random places initially.) Coming in from different areas.
They all find the woman responsible, a crazed scientist obsessed with the old stories and history ofĀ āThe Batmanā. The way she talks about him almost makes him seem more like a cryptid, and she explains that she did this to try and get his attention so heād come back to his life of crime-fighting and put thisĀ āgreat value batmanā in his place (Sheās talking about Terry.).
The bio-mech rogues and the three batmen all clash, only for the batmen to realize one thing they havenāt noticed until now: The bio-mechs are actually alive. Theyāre copies of the originals, but theyāre also their own people, with emotions like a normal human being.
They all band together to defeat the mad scientist, stopping her plans and putting her in an Asylum. The bio-mechs, having realized now that theyāre not the original criminals, arenāt quite sure what to do next, so they all go their separate ways to try and discover whatās next for themselves.
Maybe add an ending chapter involving bio-mech Harley and Joker revealing to the other rogues what happened. Everyone has varying reactions to the news, with many basically having an existential crisis over not being who they thought they were. Some going into denial because, for godās sake, they remember everything! Even their childhood! But then they recognize a huge gap in their memory from before they popped up in this future Gotham.
Maybe, just maybe, even add a part where a small group of them goes to their supposedĀ āgravesā, only to discover, yeah, theyāre there alright.
Then they all conspire to find whoever made them and get revenge for making them go through this awful shock. After all, why not just make them know theyāre copies?
...Yeah, I just had that Idea and I really like it, haha.
Hmm! Interesting!
Personally, I think Loki would win; magic and all, but still. Thank you all for participating! :)
What if...there was a character who was semi-aware of the fourth wall? Not Deadpool level, but just self-aware enough to take advantage of how the series is written?
Okay, so thereās some rando in Arkham. One of the many nameless background characters to fill space, right? Heās just sitting in his cell one day, watching the doctors transport The Riddler or someone back to their cell after being brought back by Batman. Thatās when he suddenly makes a realization.
Looking at all the people in the cells along the hall, he notices a very specific detail. Everyone labelled as aĀ āsupervillainā, everyone who dresses in costumes and commits crimes under an alias, they all inexplicably end up being given the ability to escape multiple times.
The guy decides to test this out after managing to get out of Arkham in one way or another. He gets a bunch of materials together and makes himself a make-shift costume, then picks an alias and goes out to commit a crime. (Letās say for the sake of simplicity that he chooses a plague doctor theme, and, letās just call himĀ āPlague Ratā.) Sure enough, Batman shows up.
One thing leads to another and suddenly, he finds himself developing powers after the Batman encounter. (Idk, maybe he can communicate with pests, like rats?) Then is sent back to Arkham.
He notices that his appearance has suddenly changed. He looks a little less normal, a bit more...āiconicā? Then, the next thing he knows, heās given an inexplicable opportunity to escape with a bunch of other rogues gallery characters.Ā
He notices that each and everyĀ āsupervillainā is connected to Batman in some way, thus, he ends up coming up with a theory that he tests as well. He goes out to commit another crime at the same time as another villain, sure enough, Batman shows up and manages against the clock to stop them both.
This makes Plague rat realize that Batman is basically the protagonist of the story. This encounter also makes him realize that heās suddenly impossibly lucky, able to just walk into dangerous situations and walking away with barely a scratch. Thus, he ends up taking up the habit of just throwing himself at danger haphazardly in his plans, as well as growing the balls to piss off other stronger baddies without fear. Even going so far as to outright bet other inmates on things that seem stupidly dangerous. (āIāll bet you that I can go punch Killer Croc in the face right now and Iāll be fine.ā He does, and right before Croc can attack him, a guard suddenly appears and breaks them up.)
This behavior would probably catch the attention of two people in particular: The Joker and Scarecrow.
Joker would be interested, as his careless and chaotic behavior meshes with his well.Ā Scarecrow would be interested purely because of just... how is he so careless? Itās like heās completely incapable of feeling fear?
Scarecrow at one point sprays him with fear toxin, after a few seconds of silent horror, heās surprised to find Plague Rat laughing? He just starts yelling in hysterical laughter:Ā āNone of you can see it! None of you! Iām untouchable! Send as many demons, monsters, and serial killers as you like! Do your worst! It wonāt help!ā (Laughing mostly to cover how much he is actually afraid, but heās still confident in the pattern.)
The entire rogues gallery just ends up being conflicted on how they feel about him. On one hand, they kind of trust him, because his predictions are usually correct, but on the other, heās so eager to just throw himself at certain death. But on the other other hand, he always manages to get out of those situations perfectly fine? Arkhamās inmates just end up spreading a rumor that he can somehow see the future.
Maybe in his fights with Batman, he even starts saying stuff like:Ā ā-But before you foil my plans and take me to jail, why donāt we make this more interesting for the audience? After all, the hero always needs to face some peril in a good story, right?ā OrĀ āPlease, this plan of yours is just going to fail anyway. Why are you taking it so seriously?ā Or even,Ā āMy backstory? Oh, itās nothing you need to worry about, a good story always trims the fat if it isnāt important, after all.ā Or how about,Ā āTrust me (Rogue name), just jump out with me! ...Yes, I get weāre in a blimp, but weāll be fine! Weāre both main characters!ā
Basically: Heās a Batman villain who can see his own Plot armor, and heās just having fun with it.
Idk, I just had this idea and I wanted to share it, because I thought the idea was at leastĀ somewhat interesting.

-After being bit by the spider and discovering he had powers, he devoted hours of time to researching spiders online. Mostly trying to find out what species it was, if he suddenly would end up being allergic to vinegar, etc. (Fun fact: Vinegar is actually harmful to spiders.) This ended up in him being dragged into the spider side of youtube (Tarantula care videos for example.), leading to him slowly but surely becoming a spider fanatic.
Ask him to list a random fun fact about any spider species and heāll name five off the top of his head. Show him a picture of a random spider and thereās a good chance heāll be able to identify it. Ask him how to care for a very specific type of tarantula and heāll be able to tell you everything, from the best insects to feed it, to how often you should clean its enclosure.
-Peter once bought chocolate covered crickets online. He figured itād be neat just to see. He ate the first cricket, expecting it to be disgusting. ...Immediately he was hooked. The only person who knows about his new-found love for bug candy is Mr Stark.
Ā Ā Loki felt his body tense a little as thunder surged overhead. Though he tried his best to ignore it, the sinking feeling in his stomach kept bringing his attention back every time the sound erupted. It practically shook the tower, but no doubt everyone else either wasnāt bothered or were already asleep.
Ā Ā Of course, Loki was awoken by it, and thanks to his discomfort, he couldnāt bring himself to fall back asleep. Not until it passed at least.
Ā Ā He wouldnāt admit it was a fear. The mere idea of him being afraid of thunder and lighting wouldāve been laughable to anyone and everyone. ...Or at least thatās what he thought. But right as another crackle of thunder boomed outside, the light flashed through the room, making him jump, and the door to his room swung open loudly.
Ā Ā (Y/N) slammed the door shut behind him. He had been trying to convince himself to knock and come in for a few minutes, feeling a bit embarrassed about wanting to not be alone during the storm. But after the ear-piercing sound and the bright light, he couldnāt stop himself from throwing the door open and immediately running in. His face was drained of colour and his eyes were wide. It looked like he had just seen a headless ghost. He was trying his best to hide it, but Loki could see that he was shaking.
Ā Ā ā...Are you alright?ā (Y/N) almost couldnāt speak, he felt like there was a lump in his throat the size of an orange.
Ā Ā āS-sorry.ā He muttered.Ā āCan I ju-just stay in here until the storm g-goes?ā Before Loki could respond, another flash and boom sounded. Almost as if a flash bang had been thrown into the room. (Y/N) let out a loud yelp, and the next thing Loki knew, (Y/N) was snuggled up to him, arms wrapped tightly around his waist as he shook wildly.
Ā Ā ā...Youāre afraid of thunder?ā The slight tremble in Lokiās voice betrayed him, but at this point that barely mattered.
Ā Ā āItās childish, I know. Itās...itās just so loud.ā Loki could feel him sinking against him deeper as he muttered that little explanation. (Y/N)ās entire body tense as he anticipated another strike.
Ā Ā It wasnāt just that it was loud though, or that it was sudden, but it was because of just how bad the storm had gotten. Shaking the tower, lighting everything so brightly that it felt like it couldāve blinded you. It just felt like it was only going to get worse.
Ā Ā It didnāt take long before the power went out. The storm was far too violent for the towerās system to take apparently. The only light was coming from the moon, the city, and the lightning strikes that still seemed to shake the tower.
Ā Ā Loki, at this point, barely cared about his fear being found out, especially knowing (Y/N) had a similar, if not the same, fear. The two of them clutched each other tight, attempting in vain to distract themselves.
Ā Ā Slowly but surely, the storm started to quiet down. It wasnāt gone yet, but it had at least calmed to the point that Loki's fight or flight response had quieted as well. He took a few moments to silently try and compose himself.
Ā Ā ā...Itās- itās not childish. It bothers me just as much.ā Loki muttered. (Y/N) nodded, unable to speak. Another clap of thunder, thankfully far quieter.Ā āIronic, isnāt it?Ā Thorās brother, afraid of thunder storms.ā
Ā Ā After a while, Lokiās soft voice and the quieting thunder started to calm them both down. The storm began to pass, as (Y/N) found his voice and began conversing with him in an attempt to drown out what remained of the noise. Loki explained that he used to be afraid of thunder when he was a child, as he ran his fingers through (Y/N)ās hair. Apparently, there was a period of his life where heād gotten over that fear with the help of Thor and Frigga. But after what happened on Asgard, and in the events leading up to the attack on New York, suddenly his fear had sprung up again, but far worse.
Ā Ā The current calming atmosphere, the conversation, and the feeling of being in each otherās arms, however? It didnāt take long before the distant sound of thunder was leaving the two asleep.
Ā Ā Asleep after a miraculous and unorthodox bonding experience.
Reblog and tag with a character you love but the fanbase only interest is for horny purpose and totally ignore the character other traits
Ā Ā Okay, but notice that when Viren turns into a statue, he has a tear rolling down from his eye, similar to The Dragon King (Not even going to try to spell out his name.)
Ā Ā That + TheĀ āShe is not an asset, she is my daughterā line from the previous season makes me think that there might be some delicious dramatic irony centering around Virenās killing of The Dragon King. (Perhaps with Aaravos taking up Claudia as his assistant in Virenās place? Who knows?)
Ā Ā Thatās just me reading a little deep into a random line and the imagery in this teaser being so similar to The Dragon Kings, so I could be way wrong though, lol.
Ā Ā Either way, Iām big hyped for this, holy shit-
Ā Ā As much as we all like to imagine a universe where Loki survives Thanos and joins the Avengers in some āgood endingā plot line... I genuinely donāt think heād be an Avenger for very long, if at all.
Ā Ā Now, donāt get me wrong, Iām not saying he canātĀ ābe a good guyā or anything, but I canāt see him being an Avenger. Not only because of his bad rap with earth, not only because Thor is involved and their relationship is rocky at best, but because of the other characters.
Ā Ā I have no problem believing that Bucky, Steve, Thor, Vision, andĀ maybeĀ Bruce (Seeing Ragnarok) would be willing to give him a chance. Strange and Tāchalla...Ā maybe, if simply because they werenāt really involved with/aware of hisĀ āmishapsā in New York. However, the others? ...I genuinely canāt see them being too welcoming to him. Especially Tony, Clint, Pietro, and Wanda.Ā
Ā Ā The situation with New York I imagine would hit a little too close to home for Wanda and Pietro, so theyād at the very least be wary of him at first. Tony and Clint on the other hand, would be unabashedly cold to him. I can see Tony even borderline bullying him sometimes. (Using him as a punching bag because he was the root cause of his trauma from NY? Maybe not purposefully, but I can see him subconsciouslyĀ targetingĀ him for that reason.)
Ā Ā Other characters like Sam, Peter P, and Scott would probably only have known him through the news and other things detailing the events of the disaster, so would most likely see him as a terrorist. I donāt think I need to explain why that would cause some issues.
Ā Ā Because of this animosity, I donāt see Loki being able to be an Avenger. Not because they wouldnāt try, but because Loki just wouldnāt be able to stomach the treatment heād be levied.Ā
Ā Ā Honestly, he might be similar to Natasha in that regard. Wanting toĀ āclear his ledgerā and believing that joining a group ofĀ āheroesā would help him redeem himself. Only this time, instead of it being filled with hydra members, itās filled with people who treat him just like everyone in Asgard did when he was growing up.
Ā Ā A chance heād be given, but some characters would give it reluctantly, and some would keep treating him like a criminal until he eventually just gave up and left.Ā
Ā Ā Dunno, thatās just how I see it. Donāt let me ruin your fun though, aĀ āhappy endingā is definitely deserved for all of these characters, so feel free to disregard this little angsty headcanon of mine, lol.
Ā Ā Also, if you disagree and think Iām mis-characterizing someone or missing a piece of info, feel free to explain why. I like having discussions about stuff like this, haha. ^v^
