Pietro courting Remy

I like to think Remy is so used to him to be the one who is courting when it's his turn to be courted he gots frustrated and doesn't know what to do

For example here Pietro just came from nowhere and gave him a rose said something and Remy was just...there...looking at it like: -okay??? What is this?-

A fanfic gave me this idea the name is (translated) Christmas gift of Molly f in AO3 in the fanfic magneto and Charles are going to the Maximoff's house for Christmas and magneto is worried if his gifts for the twins are good enough (or something like that) then when they are almost there they see Remy Taking Pietro with him in the car to somewhere else magneto and Charles follows them and all and somethings happen then they see Remy and Pietro doing this thing of the drawn (I don't know the name of it) and another things (nothing...you know 🔞 not even close so don't worry) but anyway magneto get....jealous? Nah that's not the word....well he get's protective of Pietro and wanna kill our precious Remy I loved this fanfic and want more of protective dadneto of Pietro.... that's it..read the fanfic it's good....also in Chinese sooo google translate our old friend..

Fuck that other anon the vast majority of Romani people are brownskinned & darkskinned and his appearance in most comics being super pale is *racist* and a *problem* because it is *whitewashing*

Ps this is a fictional character we are talking about— a fictional character here who is subject to a million different racist artists that impact how he looks in comics, not a real life person

i think the issue with pietro being white is that famously romani people are whitewashed and both pietro & wanda have been extremely whitewashed in the comics and movies. canonically pietro has a lighter shade than wanda but he still has some melanin! i'd recommend looking at more references and information outside of the movies bc they're a pretty bad representation of all the characters imo due to the MCU erasing important aspects of the characters or alternatively asking other fans for comic guides on the characters!

Different anon here. Because Pietro is Romani and jewish, some people like to headcanon him as having a darker skin tone, despite his canon appearance looking white, and this is completely fine.

However, people can be Romani AND white at the same time, and it seems there's a side of fandom who is unaware of that so they like to harass artists who draw the Maximoff twins in a lighter shade.

So

1. Your Quicksilver design is fine, you're just referencing the colors you saw in the comics

2. Romani people of ANY skin color are just as entitled to their heritage as any other, they are diverse people with beautiful traditions, strong family bonds, and really cool folklore ♥️

The versions of Pietro that I saw were white (the one from new x-factor for example and also I like to mix his appearance in the comics with the movies) and Remy....I just think he looks good like that....

Edit: I got it some versions of him are like that but usually when I think about comic Pietro pale and blue eyed is usually the one who comes to my mind.
