I emerge from the ashes completely filthy. I’m covered head to toe in sweat and my body only shows pain. It’s obvious that I’m lasting on fumes and I’m bound to collapse at any moment, only hubris keeping me up at this point.
I look out at the land, ignoring the destruction behind me and smile at the sun resting on my face.
“Finally,” I whisper, relishing at my freedom “I finished the 400k fanfic.”
Wait, did someone say to read Where the Apple Falls by @jupiters-junipers (europa_report)? Because you should

some doodles of chapter 1 of where the apple falls by @jupiters-junipers !!!
Nothing like reading fanfiction for hours to pass the time in an airport.
Yesterday Upon The Stairs feels like sticking your face in the column of woodsmoke from a campfire and breathing in. It burns. It tastes like pennies and charred marshmallows, and it smells like the earth after it rains. It’s like when you have a fever, you can’t breathe, you crawl out of bed to put Vapo-rub on your chest, and suddenly your lungs work again. It feels like laying awake in your friends living room at three am on their pullout couch, their cat pressed into your side, warm and purring. It’s the little untold tragedies of everyday life made manifest, painted on every wall, till all you can see is the pain of people you never knew and never will. It’s the fury of a quiet man. It’s the fact that your grandfather always smelled like cigarettes. It’s the clattering sound your friend makes wherever she goes (she has her grandmothers wedding ring and her grandfather’s dog tags on a chain around her neck. She never takes them off.) It’s a late night after finals week, your best friend flopped on top of you and crushing the air out of your lungs, both of you laid across a beanbag in a dorm living room. It’s the clench in your stomach when you wake up and hear something in the house that shouldn’t be there. It’s radioactive glass in a Goodwill. It’s incredible, and I want everyone to read it.
Viridian fanart ! Still one of my favs, and definitely my favorite vigilante Izuku fic
