"The first challenge Senna faced, at the moment he arrived in the UK, was teaching his name. He was just a little boy. And he was incredibly thin! Thin as a rake! That 21-year-old beardless Brazilian racer seemed a bit shy at the beggining, however he had a lot of determination.

Never someone named 'A-Y-R-T-O-N' had stepped in the island before. Ralph Firman, Van Diemen's owner and Senna's team boss, was the first one to try to pronounce it while introducing the driver to his future engineers.

'This is Harry-ton', Firman said confidently, anouncing his new driver on a rainy day on February, 1981. Since 'Ayrton' was unpronounceable and Harry-ton sounded like an offense, Senna became Harry. For the team, he will always be HARRY!"
