Danny already went through Puberty once, as a human.

But now that he's been a half ghost for thirteen years, he gets to experience

Fangs!

Glowing Freckles!

Claws!

Uncontrollable bouts of Floating!

Eyes glowing at weird times!

Odd, unconventional Cravings! Like raw meat!

Voice cracking!

And of course; all of these things presenting themselves while he's in his human form at odd times!

So Danny, 27 and fresh on the Bludhaven Police Force, is caught by his new partner as he desperately grips onto his desk to stop himself from floating into the ceiling, legs loops around the leg of a chair already four inches off the ground.

He stares at his partner.

His partner stares back.

"...So anyways, I was thinking we could go over these new forms, they're in the department file labeled 'suggestion'," his partner, Dick Grayson, says, casually leaning on Danny's shoulders and forcing the chair onto the ground.

They stare at useless forms on the computer until Danny's able to control it, and afterwards Dick takes him out for milkshakes.

Dick thinks he's a new meta.

Danny's too embarrassed to admit it's just puberty.

Something that I feel isn’t talked about or written enough with anything that talks about Superman is when you press on Superman’s skin it doesn’t give.

Sure, there are dozens of panels in comics where Clark gets punched in the face and the attacker breaks their hand, but there is so much more that can be explored because this man’s skin has the tensile strength of a fucking moon. You touch him and it feels like you’re pressing up against a flesh heated wall. Imagine touching Superman’s elbow and getting cut because it’s so sharp.

Superman has probably never actually experienced touch the way we do. There is no comforting hug with a firm grip, there is no hand gently resting on the shoulder, there is no nothing. This man doesn’t feel any pressure when being touched.

I’m the comic “Kingdom Come”, which I highly recommend; it’s a wonderful critique of 90s comics and just how making characters grittier and grittier will only lead to the characters downfall. Anyways, Superman shares a “passionless kiss” with Wonder Woman and it describes the sound of it as “Granite against Steel.”

Superman is more susceptible to magic. I think that the superhero’s that embody and are made of magic are really the only people that Superman can touch and actually feel.

Danny knew that by joining the justice league that he would occasionally be called in to do missions and that was fine, he knew that it was a necessary thing. Where the problem lies however were the partners he got assigned with on the mission, and they themselves weren't really that hard to deal with either however, where the real problem with them lies is that for some reason all the heroes he gets paired up with either had lightning/electricity powers or mainly fought with electric weapons. And that's a really difficult, personal and uncomfortable issue to explain

ooo i dig this sm. The characters that I immediately thought of that would be really interesting to be with Danny in this situation: Static Shock, Shazam, or Kid Flash. How do you tell your partner that you are scared of them because you died via electrocution? Where do you even start? Danny doesn't know.

Au where immortal danny has a portable lair so he can set up shop wherever he wants so he goes to Gotham and just,,, makes a new section of the city. Over time the city's ghosts flock to it and slowly it just becomes a a bustling hub of the undead and supernatural that Danny's found himself in charge of.

So like, a decade or two the bats and birds are investigating some weird supernatural happenings and they stumble upon the spooky town and some hijinks ensue so they get stuck. They explore the new, supernatural side of Gotham and eventually get directed to danny, black hair, orphan, blue eyes, trauma!

But he's like, 50 and the mayor?

I Headcannon that whenever danny gets caught off guard, his first instinct is to bite, he has tiny halfa fangs, and I want him to use them.

Amity Park is just so used to it though.

Imagine:

Danny was not having a fun time.

Sam forced him to come to a gala in gotham as her plus one, and honestly, he only went so he wasn't forced to go with vlad instead and as a plus, he got free food.

Danny was currently feasting on some gourmet food (don't look at him like that, turns out fighting ghosts nonstop would be pretty hunger indusing, who knew?). When suddenly his danger senses went 🚨🚨🚨🚨!!!

Danny turned to the sight of the danger. it was right beside his head!!! He zeroed in on it before...CHOMP!!!

Bruce was not having a good time.

He was invited to a gala by a investor so he had to go, honestly he was just glad that none of his sons tried anything.

"Bruce Wayne! As I live and breathe" the man who spoke walked up to him "vlad masters" Bruce recognised "how are you?" Vlad chuckled and put his arm around Bruce's shoulder.

"Fine old friend, how are those kids of yours doing? I heard you got a new one already"

Bruce grinned "yep Damian and the others are doing good." vlad grinned just as fake. "That's great,hey, I want you to meet someone, my honorary son," vlad put a hand on his own chest.

That shocked Bruce he never saw vlad masters as someone who had wanted or even liked children, "Oh, I would be honoured." Bruce laughed.

Vlad seemed to spot the kid after a few seconds, "ah there he is, danny!" Vlad called out to him but danny didn't seen to hear anything, Bruce frowned when he saw the kid stuffing his face with the food at the snacks table, the boy was skinny, dangerously skinny, even the expensive suit he was wearing couldnt hide that.

When vlad and Bruce reached the table, danny still haven't seemed to notice them making vlad chuckle before reaching out to ruffle his hair when the kid seemed to freeze up, before anyone could do anything Danny's eyes snapped to them and he lunged,snapping vlads hand in his jaw, Bruce saw little fangs poking out of his teeth and drawing blood.

Vlad just smiled fondly though there was pain in his eyes before lifting his other hand to ruffle Danny's head while danny was still knawing on his hand before he seemed to calm down and let go, "hey vlad" the teen did not seem too excited to see his supposed honorary father figure.

Bruce was just wondering why there was never a normal gala.
