Au where immortal danny has a portable lair so he can set up shop wherever he wants so he goes to Gotham and just,,, makes a new section of the city. Over time the city's ghosts flock to it and slowly it just becomes a a bustling hub of the undead and supernatural that Danny's found himself in charge of.

So like, a decade or two the bats and birds are investigating some weird supernatural happenings and they stumble upon the spooky town and some hijinks ensue so they get stuck. They explore the new, supernatural side of Gotham and eventually get directed to danny, black hair, orphan, blue eyes, trauma!

But he's like, 50 and the mayor?

Okay but listen to me-

Prompt idea where Jazz is also a Halfa and both get revealed. Danny has an entire go bag ready and waiting and has to drag Jazz away, insistent that she can't shange their minds or save them.

"Don't you get it! They don't care! They'll kill you because your a ghost and they won't care that your their kid, if they even consider you as their kid!"

In this, Danny is the more experienced person, and has had the longest to come to terms with the fact his parent see him as prey. Jazz is still fairly new to the halfa thing, having been transformed during her short stunt when Vlad trapped her in the Exoskeleton with nanites. The exposure to the ectoplasm and the Extoskeleton's energy drainage problem ended up killing her and reviving her similarly to how Danny was, albeit in a much weaker state. She didn't even realize she was a halfa at first until she accidentally stuck her elbow through the table!

So here Danny is dragging his sister away and maybe picking Ellie up along the way and they all are kinda hiding out in this dingy, abandoned warehouse out in Metropolis. Imagine their surprise and horror when the place is bought by Lex Luthor, who turned it into one of his evil bases, and then subsequently destroyed by the Superfamily. The Phantom siblings (having given up on their human names) stayed out of it, not their villain not their town and all that) and jsut remained hidden while they watched to make sure everything about the place was destroyed. If Supes had left anything they'd go ahead and destroy it for him.

They didn't expect to get caught by Conner while they left tho

Connor rounded a corner in the warehouse as he was leaving, and saw three kids about his age. They all stared at each other in shock. And then the red head swore softly. Connor readied himself for a possible attack as the boy raised his hands placatingly.

Danny: Look, we were just crashing here. We didn't know it was a villain lair.

Connor: Ok, and you didn't leave during the fight because?

Ellie: We didn't want to get mistaken as villains. Or dragged of to CPS.

Connor: Ok, so you three are homeless, and don't want help?

Jazz: Our parents tried to kill us. Also uh, the government made our species illegal?

Connor: What?

Danny: Yeah, apparently we three aren't sentient. Though Jazz why are you trusting him?

Jazz: He works for the justice league! They might be able to help us get out of the country!

Ellie: After we've healed up we can fly out! We don't need help!

Jazz: Yes we do!

Connor: Uh, I can call in help? To get you guys options? I'm a punchy guy, not a planning guy?

Danny: We can argue about this later. Jazz already spilt the truth can't take it back. Just. If they agree with the laws give us enough time to flee?

Connor: I really don't like that you assume another alien is going to hand you over for, whatever dude.

Danny: If I was just an alien I wouldn't be this worried!

Connor: Ok. So. If I can get Superman over here will you promise not to run.

Ellie: For now. No promises of he attacks.

Connor: That's.... Fair. I'll be right back!

Connor hurried over to Superman and dragged him to one side. He looked pissed. So Connor was guessing he heard. But still.

Connor: So you hear all that?I

Superman: Yes. I did.

Connor: Guessing you are as happy as I am about all that then.

Superman: We need Batman on this. We can smuggle them to the watchtower. If they agree.

Connor: Cool. I'll go first. They are pretty skittish. Which is understandable. The oldest seems more trusting. Which is odd. But who knows.

Superman: Right. Good to know. I'll follow your lead.

When Connor rounded the corner only the boy was visible. Which, he could understand. He was giving his sister's a chance to flee.

Connor: This is Superman. He has an idea.

Danny: Hi. So this idea?

Superman: We can take you to the watchtower. As long as you dear to do no harm to those who work there.

Danny: Watchtower. That's in space. Yeah that no bets is out of US law space.

Danny took a moment to ponder before nodding. He made a signal and his sister's faded into view.

Danny: It might be out best shot. That ok the UK. I'm the hero Phantom, from Amity Park. I swear to do no harm, except if needed to protect my own life. Or the life of another.

Ellie sucked in a deep breath and nodded.

Ellie: I'm the hero Phasma. I swear to do no harmless it is to save my life, or the life of another.

Jazz looked at her sibling and nodded. She squared her shoulders before she spoke.

Jazz: I am Spectre. I swear to do no harm unless necessary to protect myself or others.

Superman nodded gently. They were all just kids. Spectre looked the oldest, maybe 17. But their eyes spoke of a heavy burden. The younger two being heroes (if true, but they looked the part. That sort of bearing didn't come naturally.) Explained their being more nervous.

Superman: I swear to do you no harm, unless necessary to save lives. Be they mine or anothers.

Connor: I am Superbly Prime. I swear the same. Now that's out of the way. Can you guys all go invisible? Cause that will.make sneaking you to the tower much easier.

Jazz grinned and nodded. All three blinked out of view for a moment and then back.

Superman nodded and patted Connor's shoulder in approval of the plan.

Superman: Right this way then. go out of sight and stick close. If you can't be seen.

Billy Batson Gets Adopted AU, but the adopter he’s avidly avoiding is Lex Luthor.

When Lex first heard of Captain Marvel, he was… unenthused, to put it lightly. Another Kryptonian? It was bad enough when that second one, “Supergirl” had entered the superhero stage; Lex had few hopes for the appearance of a third. Superman even paid Fawcett a visit, and Lex’s grim worries were all but sealed. Except… he started hearing rumors. Different rumors, of the world’s “Mightiest Mortal”. Of a man, human and magic and power, who could stand up against Superman and maybe come out on top. A match. A defense. A man Lex most certainly wanted on his side.

Which turned out to be difficult, since Marvel was impossible to get ahold of. He was nowhere. Sure, he showed up to every disaster, every moment of peril and sign of distress, but he never stayed. He was there precisely long enough to get the job done, and not a second later. It was irritating. It was infuriating. It was giving Lex a migraine. Even Batman, you could occasionally catch at crime scenes or flag down on the rooftops of Gotham, not that Lex had ever tried—Gotham was a beast best avoided. But Marvel? Nothing. At least when he was battling his rogues gallery you could see him flying through the streets, but on his off time? It was like the man stopped existing. Lex Corp’s agents couldn’t find hide of hair of him. The man didn’t respond to public requests for contact, nor any of the more discreet methods Lex and employed. It was astounding. And Lex did not like astounding. He liked answers, and he liked aces in his pocket, and neither of those things would matter if he couldn’t get the Big Red Cheese to talk to him. So he sent Mercy to investigate. To either get Marvel on their side, or get the idiot to speak to them. Mercy marched into his office two weeks later with no contact point, no progress, and a video. a video of a man, a flash of lightning, and then a small, malnourished child.

“Ah,” Lex thought. “Ah.”

So. Captain Marvel was an orphaned, homeless ten year old with inexplicable powers and absolutely zero support system.

Lex was going to steal him.

Steal wasn’t quite the right word, since everything Lex was doing would be completely legal and above-board. Unorthodox, sure, but he had far more than enough money to make it happen in a way that even Big Blue couldn’t dispute. An application, some pressure and a few favors, and suddenly Lex Luthor was a registered foster parent. Now all he needed to do was find the child and ensure he ended up in his care

Billy doesn’t know what the hell is going on or why Lex Corp is suddenly flooding the streets of Fawcett, but he figures this is as good an excuse as any to punch a billionaire in the face

Que several thousand words of Kevin McAllister level evasion tactics, tomfuckery, stranger danger, weaponized baby face, (attempted) manipulation, a very confused and concerned League, telling Superman to fuck off for wildly different reasons, identity shenanigans, and the slow, begrudging mutual understanding and sort-of respect that Billy and Lex are furious is happening

(Luthor and Billy are locked in a battle of wills and guile while the League stands there like “is Luthor… trying to kidnap a child?? Marvel, are you doing anything about this?? We can help, this seems like a multiple hero situation—“ and Marvel is very nicely telling them to mind their own fucking business. They do not. Billy is mad at everyone except Cyborg, who let Billy know he was coming to Fawcett ahead of time)

My Dad is from Mars

Okay so when j’onn met danny he was John jones. He was doing some grocery shopping when a young teen with a limp bumped into him, stealing his wallet.

John grabbed the teens arm to stop him and retrieve his wallet when his hand went through through the boys arm. John saw the scared look on the child as he took off, John pursued the child running through walls and watched in concern as the child appeared to be a Martian like himself. He stopped an alley where he witnessed the teen fall to the ground and simply vanish.

John then said how he was impressed at his camouflage skill considering how young he is and that he has no intention of hurting him he just wants to help him get home to which the child was NOT HAPPY screaming how he can’t go back there he won’t. The child is barely able to stand when his camouflage drops, j’onn sees the green and red blood coating his shirt where his jacket opens.

He looks to make sure no one is looking before shifting back into his Martian form and kneeling in front of the child. In the Martian language he tells the boy that he is only here to help if he will let him

He replies in perfect Martian you’re not a hunter, j’onn freezes at the knowledge that a Martian child is being hunted and is filled with icy rage. He calmly replies that no he’s not he’s a friend. The child reaches for him before fully passing out. J’onn takes him back to his apartment where he tends to his wounds. He is further infuriated when he sees the y shaped incision on his chest. He vows that this child is under his protection.

However not everything is as it seemed. When Danny woke up he was in a bed and his wounds had been dressed. It hurt to move but much less so than before. When he heard movement he panicked until he turned and saw the coolest superhero to ever live

MARTIAN MANHUNTER who just so happens to be anACTUAL martian from MARS. Danny just stare at him in awe. He can barely speak and the hero brings him some water and begins to softly ask how he came to be so far from mars and at such a young age and Danny just stares at him for a second before he just says I’m from earth, I’m human- kinda

J’onn is clearly confused. And asks if he’s a meta when Danny says no, he asks if he would be willing to explain Danny made him swear not to tell anyone, because how could he say no to Martian manhunter. He explains that he’s half ghost and how his parents were ghost hunters and when they found out he was a ghost they turned on him. They took him to the GIW where they… and at this point he cuts himself off with a terrified look on his face. J’onn places a hand on his shoulder and tells him he is safe here for however long he wishes to stay. Danny doesn’t believe him at first until he explains that when he came to earth he was also hunted for being different.

Danny is incredibly grateful and accepts the offer with the intention of leaving as soon as he is healed . A month goes by and Danny is healed he is hesitant to leave. One month turns to two and two to three and before they knew it they were moving into a bigger apartment so Danny could have his own room when J’onn asked Danny if he would like to be his son Danny nearly cried as he said yes (Bruce took care of the paperwork, he knows it like the back of his hand) not long after though Danny got sick and it wasn’t until j’onn was visited by a ghost with a clock in his chest that they realized it was because his core was sick and so they both travel to the ghost zone where J’onn learns more about ghosts as well as learning that he is apparently a grandfather, that was fun. Danny also found out he was going to be king that was less fun

They set up a schedule of days Danny would spend in the zone with clockwork learning about ghost politics and when he was on earth he would be homeschooled by J’onn, Danny’s favorite part is when J’onn would talk about mars and traveling amoung the stars.

It’s just before his 15th birthday that J’onn announces that they were going to visit mars Danny almost exploded he was so excited the whole flight there and when he arrived he met his half white martian cousins M’gann and him got along like a house on fire. He was sad when they had to leave and there were many promises to visit. Unbeknownst to them they had a stowaway on the ship. Both Danny and J’onn scolded m’gonn fpr running away from home but he was still happy to have his cousin on earth. She trained with her uncle to be a hero she often questioned Danny about why he didn’t want to train as well, because after 1 unwanted advance from a human when he was near and it was clear he could fight. He would always make a joke out of it and dodge the question. Eventually she stopped asking.

One thing that was made abundantly clear after moving in was the fact that her cousin is terrifying. Absolutely bone chilling and not always on purpose sometimes he was just so …. Still, quiet, unnerving. She started getting used to it and her uncle is immune at this point but she will never fully be immune. And there was one indisputable rule she was not allowed to use telepathy on Danny no matter what.

When M’gann joins her team she texts Danny about them all the time, he is well aware of her crush on Conner and he feels secure in the knowledge he could crush him if he hurt her. she doesn’t really talk about Danny much because he’s pretty private.

The first time the team meets Danny it is a call to arms sent by M’gann. On the night of the Halloween party. M’gann decided to call in back up to help them get back at the kid who was trying to prank everyone as well as give everyone a good scare. Danny arrives though no one actually saw him arrive but he most definitely made an impact. Years later the school would be call it the best scare of the century.

When they head back to the base they find Danny already there he runs picks M’gann up and spins around and gives her a hug and just as she is about to introduce him the zeta tube activates announcing Martian Manhunter, he asks if anyone would like to explain why there was an emergency call from a student from their school reporting that the dead have risen and are coming to take their bloody revenge? Danny,who had hidden behind Conner peaked out and says yeah sorry about that, that was me. J’onn gives him a look and Danny shoots back c’mon dad it was all in good fun, no one was hurt, and the kid was only SLIGHTLY traumatized. J’onn is not amused. M’gann is trying to hide her laugh Conner is relieved that he’s not a rival and Wally, well Wally was in shock because when did the Martian manhunter get a son?!?

Okay I feel like this is a good stopping point for now cus I need sleep, I’m gonna add more later,

You know how Jason is a Crime Lord in Gotham but also goes to other cities and does stuff there? I think in basically every city Jason has a dedicated goon-base because they heard what he does in Gotham and want it to happen there as well. Like, Jason’s second handles all the stuff and thinks Jason knows but he really doesn’t.

Oh, and what about accidental international crime boss?

Like, Jason’s in, idk, London or something, and this one guy he knows shows up and is like, “hey boss, great news. We’ve completely taken over the criminal underworld of the UK.”

And then Jason’s just left there to process that.

Although that might go a ways in explaining how and why he keeps getting presents from the Italian mafia…
