A/N: I just needed a little super soft Yenzy today 🥺❤️
Not beta read. All mistakes are my own.
"Yenzy?" You whisper-yelled down the darkened hallway, giggling to yourself, you tiptoed to his room, knocking on the door before pushing it open far enough to peek your head in.
"Y/N?" you heard him ask in surprise, "come in..." he offered.
You pushed his door open, teetering tipsily on your heels before stumbling into the room. You looked around the dimly lit space, blinking your eyes back into focus before finding Jake in his bed. His arm was tucked lazily behind his head with a book in his hand.
"Hey" he smirked, laying the book to his bare chest as you made your way to his bed, bringing one knee up and kneeling at the edge as you smiled coyly.
“Shut up” you whined, playfully, “this is how cute you look just sitting in bed?”
He rolled his eyes, shaking his head at your shameless flirting.
"Need any help getting tucked in?" you raised a brow suggestively, crawling into bed and lying down next to him.
Yenzy watched you with amusement, his eyes dipping to the plunging neckline of your dress.
"Hey, special friend" you purred, batting at his chest and accidentally knocking his book off when you finally made it up the bed, "whatcha doing?" you smirked.
"Hi, y/n" he laughed, taking his glasses off and putting them and the book on his bedside table, you took this gesture as an invitation to join him further up the bed, nestling into the crook of his arm and resting your head on his chest.
Jensen's breath hitched in his throat as he watched you snuggle comfortably into his side.
"I was reading" he managed to find his words after a beat, "what are you doing?" Yenzy asked with a nervous laugh, bringing his arm down but not really knowing where to put it.
He finally settled for the middle of your back, tentatively placing it there as you tilted your head to look at him. Your goofy grin made him want to kiss you as his gaze fell to your tempting lips.
It had been a few weeks of stollen kisses and light groping, always you initiating, but Yenzy wasn’t complaining. He was even getting less and less jittery with every lip lock.
"Birthday bar crawl" you sighed, "but the girls wanted to stop here to pre game with the hockey boys..."
"And you're not pre gaming?" he asked, rubbing his hand gently up and down your spine.
"I wanted to find you" you smiled, bashfully, resting your chin over your hand at his bare chest. Yenzy's cheeks flushed pink, rushing to the tips of his ears.Â
"That so?" he goaded, "and what did you need me for?"
You bottom lip was trapped between your teeth as you blinked at him, suddenly feeling shy under his gaze. Yenzy licked his lips, hesitating for only a moment before he pushed up on his elbow, brushing a soft kiss over your lips.
Your stomach flipped as a sigh spilled from your blooming chest. His lips so soft against yours.
Yenzy ooofed, the breath punched from his lungs when you consumed him in a needy kiss, swinging your leg over his narrow waist and sweeping your tongue into his mouth. He groaned when your hand ran up his chest to the back of his neck, fingers carding though his hair and giving it a light tug.
You ran your hand back down the span of his tone body, Jake's lower half pressed under the comforter as his arm circled around your back, gripping as the curve of your hip and swallowing your moans.
A shiver ran down your spine when Yenzy's knuckles ghosted up and down your back, full on making out now. He groaned against your lips, gripping your sides and pulling you on top of him.
"And you're all gussied up for the bars?" he murmured, the corner of his mouth tugged into a smile.
"My friend’s birthday" you said, sitting up to straddle his waist and smiling fondly down at him. You could get used to seeing him from this angle.
"And... uh... are pants optional at this party?" Yenzy teased warm fingers over the bare skin at your thighs, your dress bunched up over your legs and barely covering your panties.
"I wish pants were optional at this party" you giggled, pressing up on your knees and leaning down into him. Your lips finding his as your hand dipped below his comforter and cupped his bulge through his sweatpants.
"Hmmmm" Yenzy hummed, "hey...uh...?" he continued nervously, breaking the kiss and taking your wrist as he gently lifted you back into his lap while sitting up, "think we should... probably talk" he started.
"Said no fun person at a party EVER" you pouted out your bottom lip playfully as Yenzy snorted, reaching over and grabbing his glasses off the table before putting them back on.
"Too serious" you frowned as he rolled his eyes, kissing your forehead before he continued.
"Y/N... it's just..." you were having a hard time focusing on Yenzy’s words with his thumbs rubbing absentmindedly into the curve of your hips, "you know I gotta focus on hockey and school and I..." his words were strangled on a groan when you started kissing along his chiseled jawline.
"How about you focus on those things an' I'll focus on your cock?" you whispered before sucking on his earlobe.
"Christ" Yenzy choked, pulling away only to press his forehead to yours as he cradled your face in his large hands, a growl rumbling low in his chest.
Your hands ran down the length of him, tracing every chisel muscle in his torso before dipping between you and rubbing over the hard length in his lap. Yenzy grunted, eyes screwed shut as his pink lips parted.
"First I'll start with my mouth" you smirked, kissing along his neck as he bucked into your hand with a groan, "then I'll..." but you were cut off when Yenzy crashed his lips to yours as he pulled you back down on the bed with him, his resolve dissolving as your tongue swept past his lips.
"Fuck" he groaned, "you're so fucking hot... I... fuck..."
"I just wanna ride your fat cock, Yenzy" you moaned as he scrambled to lift you while pushing the comforter down, you were now straddling his hips with no blanket barrier while he pushed your dress up, his thumb finding your clit and rubbing through your panties as you purred against his lips.
You cupped Yenzy though his pants, panties going damp when he twitched in your hand with a grunt.
"Hey, y/n?" you heard the birthday girl call from the stairs, "where are you?" she sang with a hiccup and a giggle.
Yenzy let out a heavy exhale as he stilled his ministrations and you broke the kiss, both of you panting as you sat up.
"Is she with Cappy?" you heard another friend ask.
"No... Cappy already left for the bar" someone else chimed in.
"Y/N... we gotta go" the birthday girl whined, "I wanna do my birthday shots..."
"Did she fall asleep in Cappy's bed?" you heard someone ask at the sound of heels climbing stairs.
"Coming" you yelled to your friends “gimme a minute,” you called, smirking down at Yenzy's pants tent before you moved to stand up, climbing off of him carefully and pulling your dress back in place.
"That's a really short dress" Yenzy smirked, watching you appreciatively as you checked your reflection in the mirror that hung on the back of his bedroom door, "you sure you're not gonna get cold?" he asked, standing up and adjusting his sweatpants before crossing the room to his desk.
"I'll be fine" you assured, bending over to fix your heel as your dress rose up, giving him a peek of your round ass in your thong panties.
You heard Jensen swear under his breath as you stood up, turning and walking over to him while his mouth hung open- brain glitching a little at the glimpse you just gave him.
"You OK?" you giggled, running your hands up his chest as he leaned into your touch with a groan.
"Can you wear this... please?" he asked, pulling his zip up hockey hoodie off the back of his chair and wrapping it around you.
"It has your number on it" you smirked, looking down at the hoodie as he helped you shrug it on, "and your name..."
"And it covers your ass" he smiled, reaching to grab the zipper before zipping it up to your chin.
"And why do I need my ass covered?" you goaded, taking a step towards him and wrapping your arms around his neck as you pressed into his chest with a knowing smirk.
"Just..." he shivered at your touch before leaning down and pecking a soft kiss to your lips, "wear it... please?"
"Anything for you, Jake" you whispered, giving him one more chaste kiss before turning on your heels. Yenzy blew out an exhale, a soft smile spreading across his flushed face as he watched his name and number -scrawled across your back- skipping from his room.

Frank x Female Reader / Special Guest
The sun shines through the blinds, casting a warmth that this apartment hasn’t seen in months. You know it’s time to go, your tears no longer worth shedding over a man who won’t commit, let alone communicate. There’s a weight off your shoulders that feels oddly freeing. You thought that you would sadder than this, to leave this place that you once called a home with a man who you thought would want to see this through.
Life has a weird way of making you realize that what you thought you wanted at a point in your life is now a lesson, one that hurt, that challenged you, broke you and ultimately left you being reintroduced to part of yourself that you thought you had lost. She was always there, just hiding in the misery that Frank had managed to pile on during your relationship. What could be said for the boxes that line the hallways? The dishes that you bought, the coffee cups carefully wrapped – and you have so many because you thought you’d spend your mornings on the balcony, drinking coffee with the love of your life. You’ll use every single of them one day. You know this. For now, they are securely in a box, waiting to be whisked away to your new apartment.
It's like a checklist now, moving through the apartment as you mentally tick off everything you’ve packed or given away to charity. You’ve thrown away the pictures of you two together, unceremoniously placed in the trash as a symbolic gesture of how quickly things went wrong. You aren’t upset anymore and you don’t wish to be. There’s no numbness, no wishing that things could go back to the way they were.
You know now that you deserve better.
That alone keeps the momentum up to finish packing, the doorbell ringing to signal that the movers are here. Where Frank has gone, you have no idea. Somewhere up in Northern California most likely, hanging out with his friends who probably told him it was a good idea to get away from you because this last fight, the one where you looked him in the eye and told him you were unhappy, only seemed to make him disinterested in continuing the conversation.
As the movers come, you survey the place, looking at the note that is placed on the counter. It’s a quick goodbye, your portion of the rent already in his bank account in case he thinks you’re skipping out.
Before long, the truck is packed up and heading to your new place as you follow behind.
It doesn’t take long for you to get there, looking up at the brownstone building with a sense of hope and peace of mind before a man walks past. You almost do a double take at the sight of him. He looks so much like Frank that you aren’t sure if you’re seeing things, the man stopping at the sight of the moving truck.
“New here?” he asks with a kind smile.
“Yeah,” you answer.
“Always good to have new people around. I’m Bucky,” he introduces, holding out his hand as you shake it. “Hope to see you around.”
Field of Dandelions || Maverick
✧ part 2 of My Protector. this fic is heavily inspired by Dandelions by Ruth B, so if you want the full effect, listen while you read 💗
✧ summary: Maverick intended to keep his promise to Goose about protecting you. After not seeing one another for 3 weeks, Pete stops by to check in on you, and take you for a joyride. One that leads you to a familiar place, where a newfound desire is expressed, based on the premise of making a wish on a dandelion.
✧ pairing: Peter 'Maverick' Mitchell x Bradshaw!Female!Reader
✧ Maverick masterlist
"'Cause I'm in a field of dandelions Wishing on every one that you'll be mine, mine And I see forever in your eyes I feel okay when I see you smile, smile Wishing on dandelions all of the time Praying to God that one day you'll be mine Wishing on dandelions all of the time, all of the time,"
“I’m going to protect you. Goose made me promise.”Â
It was those two statements that constantly flowed throughout your mind. They echoed with the loudest bravado, and they oftentimes consoled you at night when the tears blurred your vision while you gripped polaroid pictures of you and Nick in your hands.Â
Maverick had kept his promise. Any chance he got, he’d give you a call, to check on you, and see how you were. It had been a few months since Goose’s passing and every day it slowly got better.Â
While you never knew that Nick told of your embarrassing story of doodling hearts around Pete’s name, the Naval Aviator was slowly beginning to see you in a new light. He didn’t want to just protect you, he wanted to take care of you. Maverick never felt a sense of protectiveness before, not this strong, until you happened.Â
And as he sat on his motorcycle, veering closer to your small house nestled by the water. The lake was peaceful to you, and it brought about memories of when you used to make your brother go out into the water with you.Â
“You want to be a pilot, Nick? Survive in this boat first!” You remembered telling him.Â
“I’m meant to fly with the birds, not sail with the fish, Sis!” He would respond to you.Â
You were tucked away in the kitchen finishing up a few tasks when you heard the low rev of him. Your heart leaped into your throat. You hadn’t seen Pete in a few weeks and you weren’t sure why you felt so giddy to see him. Maybe it was because of the task that Goose assigned him to do if something ever happened to him – to protect you, Bradley, and Carole, but especially you.Â
Walking over to the door, you pulled it open to see him smiling already.Â
“Pete,” You whispered.Â
“There’s my favorite girl,” He winked, pulling off his aviators. “You busy?”Â
You shook your head. “No, what’s up?” You smiled, leaning against the door.
Pete looked behind him, the seat rather empty. “Wanna take a joyride?” He asked.Â
It didn’t take much to convince you. You closed the door and raced over to him. He wrapped his arms around you for a sweet embrace. “Get on, and hang on tight,” He smiled.
You got on the back and wrapped your hands around his waist. With your cheek pressed into his back, you smiled and felt as he started to take off. The wind whipped through your hair and Pete started to take you two into the city, finding the perfect spot to grab speed and have you laughing behind him.
That laugh melted his heart. He hadn’t heard you laugh like that since before Nick died. It warmed his heart and when he approached a traffic light, he couldn’t help but rest his hand over yours that clung to his abdomen.Â
Taking off again, you watched the city pass you by, the sun setting dramatically low in the sky to create a beautiful horizon of orange and pink. It took your breath away and the feel of Maverick in front of you, it only solidified the moment to become one that would be engraved in your mind forever.Â
When Maverick pulled the motorcycle into a nearby parking space, you saw the field before you.
“A field, Pete?” You giggled. You saw the array of wildflowers and it brought a smile.Â
“Not just any field,” He said. “It’s the Bayfield – the one where we rolled Goose down one day for the fun of it,”Â
The steepness of the top made your eyes widen. Laughter erupted and it made Pete smile even wider. He hurriedly stepped off, pulling you with him before you two were racing into the field together. Maverick had shimmied out of his jacket and tossed it over your shoulders before you were climbing onto his back while he carried the two of you up the hill.Â
Soon, you two were falling together on the soft grass, giving you the biggest panoramic view of the sky. Laying flat on your backs, you couldn’t wipe the smile off your face even if you tried.Â
“Mav,” You whispered, staring up at the puffy white clouds that were painted in the midst of pink and orange. “Thank you,”
Maverick smiled and felt the sudden twitch of your fingers brushing over his wrist. He turned his head to the side, coming to find you staring back at him.Â
“I’m going to protect you. With that, it means I’m going to show you fun, and excitement,” He whispered. “Just like Goose wanted for you.”Â
You giggled, covering your mouth to hide them, but Pete was taking your hand away.
“Don’t cover your smile… It’s the prettiest thing about you,” His words laced your ears like dripping honey. Your eyes fluttered at the compliment.Â
“Pete,” You trailed his name in a hushed tone.Â
Out of the corner of your eye, you picked up a dandelion. Maverick smirked, watching as you pulled it to your lips. You rolled over onto your side, kicking your feet in the air.Â
“What are you thinking about?” He smiled. You pulled the dandelion close to your lips. Closing your eyes, you blew on it, watching as it separated from its bud. Flutters of white fell onto Maverick’s white cotton t-shirt, making him laugh.Â
“Making a wish,” You trailed with a whisper.
Maverick plucked some of the strays off his chest. “Really? What were you wishing about?”
Oh, if only he knew.Â
“I can’t tell you! That defeats the purpose!” You exclaimed. He saw how you adorably kicked your feet back and forth. He saw a clear depiction of his best friend on your face, how you were so young and so free. Just like him. Just like Nick.Â
“So, if you tell me, it won’t come true? Is that it?” He pondered cheekily, his tongue jutting forward to wet his lips. He looked so attractive when he did that. The way he moved his jaw, sent shivers racing down your spine.
You wished on that particular dandelion that he’d make a move. Oftentimes, you found yourself growing tired of waiting. You wanted Maverick in ways that you never expressed to anyone. It was one that for Goose to figure out your massive crush, but it was another when you would lie awake at night, praying that the pilot would see you for what you were.Â
Not just his best friend’s little sister, but a woman who was so in love with him that could barely hold a simple thought in her brain.
“That’s the rule of thumb, isn’t it, pilot?” You snickered.Â
“Give me a hint,” Maverick teased you. He knew he could get you to tell him anything.Â
You stared into his green orbs, watching the way they flickered while gazing at your eyes.Â
“You,” You whispered.Â
You grabbed another dandelion and blew into it, your eyes closed as you envisioned the way his lips would feel pressed to yours. You inhaled the erotic scent of his cologne and it sent you to another world.
“Me?” Maverick pressed.Â
Please, kiss me. Please. You thought.Â
Smiling gently, you stared back down at another dandelion. “That’s all you get, Maverick,” You whispered.Â
He glanced between you and the dandelion in your hand.Â
“Then let’s see if your wish comes true,” He stated. Your eyebrows furrowed when he raised up. Reaching out to you, your breath caught when Maverick wrapped his hand around your cheek and brushed his thumb underneath your eye.Â
Everything felt as though it were falling into place. The gentle feel of his hands on you had you quivering to the core, but when he leaned his head forward and his warm breath fanned across your bottom lip, you lost that train of thought.Â
“M-Maverick,” You squeaked.
He shook his head.
“Don’t think… Just do,” His words laced your ears.Â
You did exactly what he asked. You stopped thinking, and just did what you wanted to do. Leaning forward and closing the remaining gap, he brushed his lips across yours. Your eyes closed and you swore that fireworks went off in your head.Â
His lips were velvety soft against yours. You couldn’t stop the sweet, delicate moan that left your mouth, one that Pete swallowed with proudness. You kissed him in such a way, that he felt that if he didn’t keep kissing you – he wouldn’t be able to breathe.Â
Stroking his fingers through your hair, you kissed him deeper until you were pulling away to gasp for air. Maverick stared at you, green eyes ablaze as he tried to decipher what was happening – that swirling look in your eye worried him.Â
Had he just ruined everything?Â
“Y/N? Sweetheart, talk to me,” He caressed your cheekbone.Â
You offered him a warm smile.
“My wish came true, Maverick,” You announced, smiling sweetly.Â
Maverick grinned, pulling you in for another kiss.
