Finally got around to seeing the little mermaid and holy shit was Halle Bailey perfectly cast. All of her emotions so easily can be understood through her facial expressions alone and her looks of wonder make her such an endearing character in the way the animated movie couldn’t.
Also her HAIR. I simply cannot get over it. It is so perfectly done with the mix of locs and looser straight hair. It makes the underwater scenes so perfect and dynamic just from the way her hair floats. I know the hair crew spent a TON of money on the hair and it was worth every cent.
Wee guy got fucking vaporised. Who cares
If Wanda doesn’t either get to: A) achieve the peace and find the love she deserves or B) go absolutely feral in Multiverse of Madness I’m going to riot
And I literally could not care less about what happens to Stephen like sorry bro. She’s just outdoin you
Me in 2023: I’m gonna stop saying I’m gonna kill myself at minor inconveniences! Those jokes aren’t really funny 😠
Me in 2025 when experiencing a minor inconvenience: I’m going to kill myself
Me in 2025 when someone I don’t like does anything at all: you should kill yourself
Anyone else weirdly obsessed with pirates and ancient Egypt at the same time?

I now disagree with that post that went something like "to make high schoolers laugh post pandemic you have to kill someone" because when I was clocking out of work today I overheard my coworkers, two high school boys, joking around. One said "hey bro...literally me when im making pizza..." He was in fact making a pizza, that's our job. They both laughed like beavis and butthead and repeated it a few times.
