This moment is so important. When they finally discuss their pain aloud, forgive one another, and put the blame where it rightfully belongs; on their parents. While reassuring each other that in spite of everything that's happened and the pressure from the people around them, they definitely don't hate each other. & it breaks my heart how desperately they both (but especially Pran) needed to hear that but the relief on their faces when they do makes it all worth it. This is the moment they finally begin to break free from the influence of their families. NOW they can start moving forward together.
i’m sorry but with pat and pran constantly going “we need to talk” in eps as early as 1 and 2 when they were supposed to be “rivals” should’ve told me that they were gonna have the healthiest fucking relationship out there when they started dating

Let’s get away from here. BAD BUDDY THE SERIES (2021)
has anyone clocked the change from last to first name in the our youth special episode? because that actually meant a lot, like that final layer of distance between them was closed.. even friends drop the last name sometimes and just address via first name....but they couldn't bring themselves to cross that line...... plz direct me to the gifset if it exists....I just love these additional layers that come with a whole other language and culture...
This may be pretty weird and really minimal but I really appreciate how Light On Me doesn't make fun of picky eaters? I feel like most of the time, people don't truly get it, especially with neurodivergent folks. Actually, I want to say, as an autistic person in general, that this drama makes me feel safe and loved. Taekyung's neurodivergency is accepted by everyone and a key point to the plot. The characters love him for who he is and learn more about themselves thanks to him. It doesn't matter if it's intentional or not, the representation feels more genuine and respectful than in other series where they have a canonical autistic character.
Light On Me makes me feel validated, hopeful that one day we will find people that understand us and treat us with kindness.
