Who are people you ship Lee Jordan? What headcanons do you have for them?
lemme tell ya about how much i love Fred x Lee my sweet sweet anon:
- so Fred George meet Lee on their first day of hogwarts.Â
- at the Gryffindor table right after the sorting Fred and George come and sit on either side of lee and introduce themselves with identical grins and then start with the witty banter (and making fun of percy)
- Lee is sitting there laughing the whole time (and feeling really special that these two larger than life non-stop people have decided that he is gonna be their friend)
- on the first night at Hogwarts they are all super buzzed cause W o W there is a whole freaking castle to explore and because of that there must be a heck load of mischief to get up to
- in their first class they bust in late all three of them: Fred with an (apparently) apologetic grin, George with a terribly repressed smirk, and Lee with a crooked smileÂ
- (this is one of the only times they get away with it because âwe are so sorry sir we got lostâ can actually be believable when it hasnât been used every day of the week before)Â
- within the week Lee can tell the twins apart (finally there was to be no more âhaha we gotcha iâm actually Fredâ)Â
- basically their friendship keeps growing and growing as friendships doÂ
- then one day someone asks Lee how heâs so good at telling the twins apart and he stops and thinks for a second cause really he canât quite put his finger on it
- he tries to explain the subtle differences in appearance to the person inquiring but heâs distracted by how they both âfeelâ differentÂ
- George was like squinted eyes of concentration, and bursts of laughter, and being always prepared to either hug you or kill someone for youÂ
- and Fred was (wow) Fred was just completely different he was fast and passionate talk (that would always make butterflies erupt in Leeâs stomach), and prideful âdare me toâ eyes (that always made Leeâs heart lurch), and utter faithfulness, the kind of person you would trust with your life (which Lee obviously would without hesitation)Â
- and shit⌠was Lee in love with his best friend? (one of them anyway)
- then later that week in the common room Fred is sitting there staring at Leeâs hands (cause gosh they are gorgeous) and he decides itâs about time that he talks about this mega crush cause itâs eating him alive and cause itâs the Fred Weasley thing to dive head first into everything he says âhey Georgie, ever think you might have kind of a thing for Lee? cause ya know Iâd relate.âÂ
- George doesnât even look up from what heâs doing to respond: âmate, I donât but I freaking know you doâ completely chill about it (even though inside he is screaming âFINALLYâ and is super happy cause he knew all of lastâs weeks talk about Leeâs love life and offering to find him a quality love interest had perhaps kicked Fredâs sorry ass into a realisation about his feelings)Â
- at first Fred is all âwhy didnât you say something?â and then âwait.. George do you think he likes me back?â
- and George finally looks up, sighs the biggest sigh, and fixes Fred with the most deadpan, tired look and says âof freaking course he does and in fact iâm getting bloody sick of the two of you pretending like youâre not utterly head over heels for each other so please, brother dear, for the sake of my sanity - piss off and do something about it.âÂ
- Fred just stares for a moment at George, then summons his courage (cause if heâs gonna ask out Lee itâs gonna be smooth), and walks over to Lee who is trying to actually do his transfiguration homework (and because of that he has to be located a strategic few feet away from the twins)Â
- Lee sees Fred coming out of the corner of his eye and his stomach erupts (as usual) and he thinks okay today Iâm gonna tell him cause Iâm damned sick of all of this. He properly looks up from his essay when Fred sits down on the couch beside him and is met with a pointed smirk from the red-head
-âhey Lee, do you think Iâm cute?â and Lee is like well this is not what I was expecting (and of course I think you are cute are you crazy?), but frick how do I respond to this, and then he catches a glimpse at George doing frantic miming that seems to heavily involve a heart shape and kissy faces and Lee thinks what the hell (hoping George doesnât think that itâs some kind of joke)
- âActually Fred Iâve always thought of you as some one who was more⌠unbelievably sexy.âÂ
- Fred almost blows his smooth demeanor with a mixture of laughter and shock (and also sheer giddiness cause - Lee! thinks heâs⌠sexy!?)Â
- âWow⌠um, good, so since we got that cleared up, did you want to maybe go out on a date sometime?âÂ
- and of course Lee says yesÂ
- and of course they celebrate with a kiss (which seriously was worth the wait but also at the same time not at all because as Fred will often point out they had wasted a lot of time not-kissing when they were âjust friendsâ)Â
- and of course after they kiss Fred returns to his twin a little pink in the face with the widest grin and says âGuess what - Lee thinks Iâm the better looking twin.â
(and I got fully carried away and could write another entire thing about how they are freaking adorable in a relationship but I shall stop (for nowâŚ))

A very simplified version of a very serious, very complex matter.

I really wish more cis allies understood this: if a trans people lies to you about being trans, itâs probably not to be malicious or deceitful and probably more because we donât want to be harassed or murdered.

Even though they never stick to their resolutions, Molly has made it a Weasley tradition that the whole family must pick a resolution and share it with the others. One year, when the kids are grown and groaning about having to pick a resolution that they always ignore, Molly gets fed up and decides theyâll do this âSecret Santaâ style. Theyâll draw names out of a hat and pick anonymous resolutions for each other because sheâs just not giving up on a resolution. One year she might actually meet her goal. She encourages the family to take this seriously by bribing them with a special Christmas meal in February if they take their resolutions seriously for just one month.
Mollyâs assigned resolution is to stop critiquing her children for their appearance or identity, which she immediately protests but Arthur gently reminds her that this was her idea and perhaps one of her kids is trying to get her to realize something.
Arthurâs is to laugh more.
Billâs is to visit home more.
Charlieâs is to write them letters first instead of always having to be written to first.
Percyâs is to try something new that doesnât have to do with schoolwork.
Fredâs is to apologize when he upsets someone.
Georgeâs is to take a risk just for himself.
Ronâs is to be more accepting of his strengths and good qualities.
Ginnyâs is to at least be honest with herself about her feelings.
Just the resolutions they assign to each other stir up some complaining and questions. Molly insists she doesnât critique, just be a mother. Percy complains heâs already got enough on his plate. Fred is sure Percy is just trying to get Fred to stop teasing him, which is not going to happen. George has no idea what his resolution even means, and Ginny insists she doesnât get hers either. Ron just sulks. Arthur, Bill, and Charlie are the only ones to start out with a good attitude about their resolutions.
But one of Mollyâs decadent Christmas meals so soon again has them all at least willing to try. When Molly sees that, she agrees to try as well.
Itâs a very trying month. A lot of stuff spills out between the family. With Molly pursing her lips, Ginny finally feels free admitting that sheâs a girl and she can be a girl and a tomboy and thatâs okay. And sheâs bi (âwelcome to the club, sisâ Bill tells her). George is coming out as aromantic (which earns him a high five from aroace Charlie). Even Percy is admitting that heâs asexual (he rolls his eyes at the high five, though). Mollyâs first instinct is to deny all this, but a look from Arthur has her pursing her lips and going silent, actually resulting in her doing some soul searching.
Percyâs new thing happens to be dating, which heâs more comfortable doing after saying out loud that heâs asexual and feeling like he can tell others, too. Charlie never knows what to say, so he takes advice from Tonks on what he should say. His resolution ends up helping Arthur to fulfill his own assigned resolution to laugh more. George helps Fred understand what his resolution means, and Fred helps George realize what his resolution means. When Hermione calls out one of their pranks, Fred actually apologizes to her and the third year tester, who had really just wanted to hang out with the twins. George decides to go for it with Angelina, who tells him sheâs flattered and honestly feels the same but doesnât want anything to ruin their Quidditch dynamic. Itâs disappointing but also somewhat freeing for George, who usually doesnât do anything if it doesnât involve Fred.
As resistant as Molly is towards accepting that her resolution, itâs Ron who really has the hardest time with his own resolution. No clarifying moment comes to Ron to get him to stop comparing himself to his brothers (or Harry). Itâs a lot of support from his siblings, whom heâs embarrassed to talk to about this, and Hermione and Harry that ensures he sees any progress at all, as small as it is.
Itâs one of the best Christmas dinners they have, especially since theyâll get two that year. It surprises them who assigned their resolutions, though. Molly was sure hers was Bill, but it turns out to be a grinning Ginny, whoâs smiling and laughing and talking more freely now that Molly is finally calling her Ginny. Arthur thought his might be one of the twinâs - probably George, but it turns out to be Molly, who kisses him and tells him she loves his laugh and he deserves happiness. Bill thought his was probably Mollyâs, but itâs Fred, who does enjoy his visits but also enjoyâs their motherâs attention being a little diverted away from him and Georgeâs own shenanigans. Charlie thought his might be Billâs so there was less pressure for him to regularly write but was completely surprised to learn it came from Percy, who feels comforted by letters from his older brothers, feels like he can also make his own place in the world after Hogwarts. Percy was sure his resolution was from Fred, who just wanted him to make a fool of himself or take himself less seriously, but Bill winks and tells him not to forget thereâs more to life than just classes. (âSchool is still important!â Molly canât help but cut in.) Fred had wondered if his wasnât from Bill trying to get him to mature just a tad or something, but a red-faced Ron admits it was him and that sometimes he takes it too far. Fred bites his lip and apologizes for ruining spiders forever for Ron, who actually genuinely laughs. Ron suspected Ginny might have given him his, but Arthur gives him a warm, fatherly smile, and tells him he hates seeing him so conflicted and down about his own abilities and potential. Which leaves Ginny realizing her resolution was from George, though she had suspected Charlie, who had been the first in their family to come out and the first who had realized Ginny might have her own secret to tell. George gently slaps her on the back and reminds her that that some of the rest of them were intuitive and knew their siblings pretty well, thank you very much. Ginny gets up to hug him and thank him. Sheâs so much happier now.
All in all, it turns out to be a pretty good start to the new year.
