Can U Write Reader And Professor Ellie Taking Care Of Aurora While She’s On Her Period😭or Like How

masterlist

professor ellie masterlist

☆ Ellie notices something’s off before Aurora even tells anyone—her daughter’s unusually quiet, subdued, curled up on the couch with a heat pack she likely snuck from the bathroom.

☆ She pauses mid-lecture grading when she gets a text from you: “Aurora got her period. She wants to talk to you too.” Ellie nearly drops her pen.

☆ Ellie rushes home, barely bothering to organize her research notes. She finds Aurora in bed, flushed and moody, and her heart breaks in the softest way.

☆ “My baby’s growing up,” Ellie whispers under her breath as she kneels beside Aurora’s bed, brushing her hair out of her face.

☆ Aurora is embarrassed, but Ellie makes it all scientific. She talks about hormones, menstruation as a biological marvel, how it’s a sign of health and maturity—her academic comfort zone.

☆ But behind the calm, Ellie is spiraling. She hugs you that night tighter than usual, muttering, “She was just in diapers. I remember the hospital smell.”

☆ Ellie becomes overly meticulous, ordering a dozen types of eco-friendly pads and period underwear. “We should get her a menstrual tracking journal. Actually, I’ll design one. I’ll code the app.”

☆ You catch her staring at Aurora’s baby pictures that night, eyes glassy. “She used to sleep on my chest every night,” she murmurs. “Now she barely wants a hug.”

☆ Ellie insists on giving Aurora a full menstrual health crash course—whiteboard diagrams, booklets she prints out herself. Aurora begs her to stop.

☆ “You are a miracle of biology,” Ellie tells Aurora proudly, cupping her face. “Do you understand how powerful this makes you?”

☆ She accidentally calls it Aurora’s “menarche” one too many times before Aurora yells from the bathroom, “Stop calling it that, Mom!”

☆ Ellie tries to make it celebratory. She buys her daughter her favorite dessert and a bouquet of red roses. Aurora is horrified. You laugh. Ellie sulks.

☆ At night, Ellie overthinks. “What if she gets cramps like you did? What if she misses school? What if the boys—”

☆ “I swear if a boy says something dumb to her, I will break the school board in half,” Ellie hisses to you while brushing her teeth.

☆ She starts leaving small care packages in Aurora’s room: chocolate, heat packs, handwritten notes that say “You’re stronger than you feel.”

☆ She writes in her research journal about it—“Transgenerational development of daughters: the maternal lens of biological transition.”

☆ Ellie pulls out your old pregnancy journals, the ones you kept when Aurora was in your belly, and reads them late at night.

☆ She becomes more protective than ever. Any eye roll from Aurora is met with quiet over-analysis. “Is it hormones? Did I do something wrong?”

☆ She talks to Arnold too. “Your sister might be more sensitive right now. You have to be patient. Gentle.” Arnold, chewing cereal, goes, “Okay. Can I still prank her?”

☆ Ellie insists on giving Aurora a key to a “quiet box” of supplies in her office, in case she ever gets her period at school. “Biological emergencies require strategic preparedness.”

☆ Ellie writes a personal letter to Aurora she hides in a journal: it’s emotional, raw, academic, filled with references to feminist theory and the sacredness of menstruation. Aurora won’t find it for years.

☆ She clings to you that week. Every time Aurora slams a door or retreats into music, Ellie comes to you like she’s been stabbed. “Tell me she still needs me.”

☆ Ellie creates a folder on her computer called “Aurora - Adolescence: Phase I.” It contains spreadsheets tracking patterns and emotional shifts.

☆ She’s emotional watching Aurora brush her own hair, apply lip gloss, and adjust her hoodie like a woman. “She looks like you,” she whispers to you.

☆ “It’s not just her growing up,” Ellie finally admits one night. “It’s the countdown. Soon she’ll be gone. It’s like…I’m losing time.”

☆ Arnold feels a little left out. Ellie is hyper-focused on Aurora, and he starts intentionally acting sillier to get her attention.

☆ He pretends to be sick so he can stay home too. Ellie sees right through it, but hugs him anyway and lets him stay.

☆ Ellie gives Arnold “brother missions”—small tasks like heating up Aurora’s hot water bottle or picking her favorite snacks.

☆ She builds his confidence by reminding him he’s the little man of the house—while also telling him, “Never assume you understand a woman’s pain.”

☆ Ellie starts a “boys growing up” project for Arnold—teaching him hygiene, boundaries, and how to talk about emotions. She pulls research from three parenting psychology journals.

☆ Aurora slaps his arm one day when he teases her. Ellie pulls them both aside for a long talk about mutual respect and hormonal volatility. They both groan in sync.

☆ Arnold is the first one to tell Ellie when Aurora starts crying at a commercial. “Mom, she’s leaking from her eyes again. Help?”

☆ Ellie starts planning more one-on-one time with Arnold, taking him to museums, science fairs, or just letting him help with her university lectures.

☆ Arnold asks if girls are going to be “weird forever.” Ellie gives him a 20-minute TED Talk. He regrets asking.

☆ Ellie sets up a whiteboard in the kitchen with color-coded schedules: Aurora’s cycle (secretly coded), Arnold’s soccer, your appointments. It looks like a military base.

☆ Ellie uses every chance to teach emotional awareness. When Arnold asks, “Is Aurora dying?” Ellie goes, “No, buddy. She’s blooming.”

☆ You notice that Ellie gets more clingy with Arnold too—like she’s subconsciously bracing for him growing up next. She kisses his hair constantly.

☆ Ellie insists they both watch “Turning Red” together. She ends up crying harder than Aurora or Arnold.

☆ Ellie buys a book titled “Parenting Emotional Teens and Tactical Preteens.” She highlights every other page and forces you to read it.

☆ When Aurora teases Arnold about still sleeping with his stuffed dino, Ellie snaps: “He can do that until college. Leave him alone.”

☆ You find her staring wistfully at a baby in the grocery store. “That smell. That tiny head. Look how the mother holds them,” she murmurs like she’s hypnotized.

☆ Aurora’s transition makes Ellie acutely aware of the passage of time. “It went so fast. I missed so much.”

☆ Ellie asks you, gently, cautiously, “Would you ever… want to do it again?”

☆ She starts bringing up embryo storage again—talking about the ones you froze during Aurora and Arnold’s IVF rounds.

☆ She even looks into donor matches, mapping out compatibility charts late at night with that hyper-focused intensity in her eyes.

☆ Ellie watches old videos of you pregnant. She pauses every time the camera pans to her—how young she looked, how in love.

☆ “We were just kids,” she says, her fingers tracing the laptop screen. “Look at how we looked at each other.”

☆ She imagines a third child—one more baby to hold, to raise slowly, to savor. “I’d do it better this time,” she tells you. “I’d be more present.”

☆ Ellie jokes about becoming a stay-at-home mom if you get pregnant. You laugh. She’s dead serious.

☆ She starts rubbing your stomach absentmindedly when you cuddle, her thoughts already drifting.

☆ Ellie dreams about it. She wakes up misty-eyed. “It was a girl this time,” she tells you, voice fragile.

☆ Aurora’s growth inspires nostalgia and longing. She keeps whispering to you, “Just one more. Let me love another one with you.”

☆ She buys a baby onesie at Target “just in case.” You find it hidden in her drawer next to her research notes.

☆ Ellie watches you with Arnold and Aurora and murmurs, “You were always the best mother. I want to see you do it again.”

☆ You catch her re-reading her pregnancy books, bookmarking milestones. She’s preparing mentally like it’s a dissertation.

☆ Ellie secretly writes a new lullaby on her guitar, just in case. She records it one night and labels the file “For Baby #3.”

☆ She visits the IVF clinic “just to ask questions” and comes back with brochures and a sticky note that says “viable chance.”

☆ She becomes softer with you—pulling you into her lap, caressing your skin like she’s trying to memorize you. “I still want everything with you.”

☆ Ellie starts drawing again—sketches of a crib, baby feet, a silhouette of you pregnant.

☆ One night, in bed, she lays her head on your chest and whispers, “If we start now… they’ll grow up with Arnold. We’ll still be young enough.”

☆ She starts romanticizing everything—your hands, your eyes, your voice—like she did when you first met.

☆ Ellie finds the notebook from when she proposed to you. She rewrites her vows in the back, silently renewing them.

☆ Her obsession with you resurfaces with full force—watching you like you're a miracle she can't believe she married.

☆ She spends entire evenings curled into you, fingers tracing the veins in your hands. “You’re the beginning and end of everything.”

☆ She gets lost in old photos—the ones where you’re pregnant, holding baby Aurora, laughing with milk stains on your shirt. She stares at you like you hung the stars.

☆ Ellie writes another letter—this one for you—filled with her dreams, her research, and her endless need to create a life with you again.

☆ “I’m not done building a life with you,” she tells you one afternoon, with coffee on her lips and love in her voice.

☆ Ellie becomes more tender, more deliberate—making tea for you without asking, massaging your back, memorizing your cycles like a ritual.

☆ Her obsession is quieter now—refined, deeper, rooted in love and years of growing together. But it burns just as fiercely.

☆ “Let’s do it,” she finally says one morning, her voice trembling. “Let’s make another little version of us.”

I've Been Obsessed With John Buckleys "everybody Here Wants You" I'd Love To See Your Take On It Maybe

29 pearls in your kiss

A singing smile

Coffee smell and lilac skin

Your flame in me

I'm only here for this moment

When you first laid eyes on Ellie it felt like your body was on fire.

Ellie awakened some deep desire in you, that even you yourself didn’t understand.

When she caught you staring all she could do was give you a small smile, and you felt your stomach erupt with butterflies. Even after she caught you, you couldn’t help but to continue staring.

The way her autumn brown hair was in a half up, half down look, the way the red and green flannel hugged her arms the right way, how her side profile looked. Just everything about her. Everything about her was without fault.

god really has his favorites huh?

You didn’t know who she was, you didn’t know her name but god she was doing things to you. You got up from where you were sitting and walked behind her. As soon as you walked past her, a strong scent of pinewood hit you.

Wow jesus, ok does she bath in her perfume? You thought to yourself.

As you stood at the other side of the room watching this beautiful woman you heard someone scream “Ellie” the autumn brown haired girl’s head snapped up, looking at another girl.

You wanted to vomit.

You wanted to stab your eyes out after watching Ellie smile with someone else.

“Dina!” Ellie screamed back standing up and immediately running to the girl with dark hair and hugging her. Even though you were filled with jealousy you knew her name now.

Ellie.

Your Ellie.

I know everybody here wants you

I know everybody here thinks he needs you

I'll be waiting right here just to show you

How our love will blow it all away

You weren’t stupid. Ellie was an attractive girl. The day you met Ellie you saw how people looked at her. The way their gaze’s lingered on her beautiful face. Whether it was men or women it seemed that Ellie’s beauty had everyone in awe.

Everybody here wanted Ellie. Everybody in this room did.

How would Ellie notice you when there’s hundreds, probably thousands of people throwing themselves at her.

That day when you first saw Ellie and found out her name, you spent exactly 72 hours looking for her Instagram. You went through thousands of accounts trying to find her. When you eventually found Ellie’s Instagram you learned a lot more about her.

She loved skating, she’s very gay and she has a best friend named Dina.

You let out a sigh of relief when you realized that they were only friends. But the way Ellie smiled at her made your stomach churn.

You saw Dina as a threat.

Who wouldn’t? She was everything you weren’t. And at least Ellie knew of her existence.

You clicked on Dina’s profile going through each one of her posts, comments and everything about her. You memorized Dina’s page, every post, comment and caption. You had to figure out what Ellie saw in Dina. You had to become Dina.

A week went by, and neither Ellie or Dina posted anything. You felt like you were losing your mind. As soon as you wanted to give up and move on, Dina made a post that she was throwing a huge party. A smile appeared on your face. This was your chance.

Miracles do happen. You were going to that party. And you were going to get Ellie’s number.

Hmm, such a thing of wonder in this crowd

I'm a stranger in this town

You're free with me

And our eyes locked in downcast love

I sit here proud

Even now, you're undressed in your dreams with me

You shouldn’t have come here. Everybody in this room wanted Ellie. The way they all started at her with hungry eyes, the way they were practically undressing her with their eyes. You didn’t like this. You didn’t like the way they were looking at your girl.

You were burning holes into the back of Ellie’s head at this point. Ellie turned around frowning when somebody bumped into her, and for the first time in almost two weeks the two of you locked eyes again.

Ellie gave you a smile. That fucking smile. The same one she gave you two weeks ago. You sat there frozen after she turned away. You didn’t know if you should cry or be excited. Ellie smiled at you. She definitely wants you.

You felt out of place. Everyone in this stupid party knew each other. You felt like you didn’t belong. You hated being here, but if it means you’ll be in Ellie’s presence a little longer you’ll put up with it.

“Hi” you heard a voice say behind you, and when you turned around your eyes met with Dina’s.

“Hi Dina” you said softly.

“How do you know my name?”

fuck how did you know her name?

were you supposed to tell the truth? that you were stalking her?

“I’m a friend of Ellie’s” you smiled.

“Oh! A friend of Ellie’s is a friend of mine!” She gave you a bright smile bringing you in for a hug.

“It was nice meeting you” Dina smiled as she started walking away. Your eyes followed her seeing that she was walking towards Ellie.

Fuck fuck fuck no no no

what happens if she asks Ellie about you? They would know you’re a fake. And you’d never get a chance with Ellie.

“Hey Dina” you called out and she turned toward you, “yeah?” she yelled over the music.

“Can you please show me where the bathroom is?”

“Oh yeah follow me” Dina reached out you, offering her hand so that you can grab it. The two of you walked in the crowd hand in hand.

Dina was talking too much. She’s so fucking annoying you thought to yourself.

What does Ellie see in her?

“Here we go” Dina said as she pushed open a door. The room was decorated with white and blue wallpaper, and there was a bed in the middle of the room.

“You want me to pee on the bed?” you questioned.

“No silly” Dina laughed she walked to the other side of the room pushing open another door, revealing a bathroom.

“Wait let me check if there’s toilet paper- “

Dina’s body landed on the floor with a thud as blood seeped from her head. You stood above her holding a lamp heavily breathing. Tears pricked your eyes.

What the fuck were you thinking? You weren’t a killer. You never wanted to harm Dina.

You looked down at your hands seeing that the blood on top of the lamp dripped down onto your own hands.

“No” you yelled throwing it on the ground. You sat on the bed sobbing.

You were going to prison. You were a killer. You were dirty. You were a bad person.

No.

No you weren’t.

Dina was going to tell Ellie. She was going to tell Ellie that you lied. You weren’t a bad person, you just made a mistake. A mistake that you will clean up before anyone came looking for Dina.

You quickly got up wiping the tears from your eyes, and you locked the door.

You quickly grabbed a towel and you wrapped it around her head to try and stop the bleeding as much as you can to make the cleanup easier. You dragged Dina’s body closer to the bed as you let out a grunt as you placed her on the bed.

You walked to the bathroom looking through the cupboard “fuck yeah” you breathed when you saw a pack of razors. You gently took one out and you walked over to Dina.

She was still breathing, but you knew after this she wouldn’t.

You took the razor and you dragged across her writs. On each arm you dragged it 4 times and you watched the blood pool out of her arms. You gently removed the towel from her head, seeing her eyes were open and her mouth was moving.

 “I’m sorry” you breathed.

It was an accident. You weren’t a bad person.

You took some blood from her wrists and she winched, you walked over to the wall and you wrote the words “I’m sorry” hoping that they might think that Dina is apologizing for her “suicide”.

But in reality this was you apologizing to everyone you knew this was going to affect.

You got down on your knees and you cleaned the blood from Dina’s first wound that was still left on the floor. By the time the place was spotless Dina already too her last breath, as the sheets were soaked with her blood.

“I’m sorry” you apologized one more time before you jumped out the window running home.

The only regret you had that night was not getting Ellie’s number.

I know the tears we cried

Have dried on yesterday

The sea of fools has parted for us

There's nothing in our way, my love

“I’m sorry for your loss” you spoke softly.

“Who are you?” Ellie asked.

“I was a friend of Dina’s” you lied.

Ellie sniffled “do you know why she killed herself?” she asked as she looked at Dina’s grave again.

 “No” you muttered

“I thought she was happy”

"me too"

“Wait you’re that girl from the party” Ellie said after a few minutes of silence. Your stomach fluttered at the fact that she remembered you.

“Yeah” you smiled

You and Ellie spoke about Dina for a while, you made up stories about what great friends you and Eina were and you were happy that Ellie could finally talk to you.

The two of you exchanged numbers that day and you couldn’t be happier.

Dina didn’t die in vain. She died for you and Ellie to be happy. There was nothing standing in the way of your love anymore.

Don't you see, don't you see?

You're just the torch to put the flame to all our guilt and shame

And I'll rise like an ember in your name

I know I, I know

Why didn’t Ellie see? You were here for her since Dina’s funeral.

Why wasn’t she falling in love with you? Why didn’t she realized everything you’ve done for her? Every time you would show Ellie affection or love she never showed it back. Ellie saw you as an acquaintance not a friend and it was the hardest thing for you to accept.

You knew that deep down she loved you.

Maybe she’s scared of her feelings. Maybe she didn’t love you. Maybe you need to encourage her. Maybe you need to show her how much you loved her.

And that’s exactly what you did. You showed her.

You stared texting her more often, you started following her around. You sent her letters. And soon Ellie blocked you. She’d throw rocks at you when she’d see you.

Ellie sprayed you with pepper spray once. Ellie was doing anything and everything she can to stay away from you. She even moved across the city to get away.

But you’d always find her. You’d always get her.

Ellie awoke something in you. Something primal, an animal instinct. You blame her for the way you’re acting. She made you this way.

You tormented Ellie for 2 months she got a restraining order against you. But that didn’t stop you. You just learned to become sneakier. You’d still follow her around you still text but for different number, you’d pretend to be different people.

Ellie was going to love you one way or another. You’d make her love you, with or without that stupid restraining order.

The restraining order reminded you of Dina. It was something that was in the way of you and Ellie’s love. The same way you got rid of Dina, the same way you could get rid of that restraining order. After all Dina was temporary, her life ended. The same was that restraining order was temporary. It will end eventually too, and you’d finally get your chance with Ellie.

I know everybody here, well, thinks he needs you

Thinks he needs you

And I'll be waiting right here just to show you

Everybody at this park wanted Ellie. You hated the way they stared at her as she walked. You hated all of this. You wish you could stick a knife into all their eyes sockets to make them all stop staring at her.

Ellie still hasn’t noticed you after all this time. Even after Dina’s death you thought you had something. But its ok. One day Ellie will realize that you were the one for her. One day she’ll see you the way you see her.

21 days left. 21 days before the restraining order expires. After 5 long years of watching Ellie from afar was soon coming to an end.

You’ll wait for her. Even if it takes forever.

She’ll come around, you know she will, and until then you’ll admire her till the two of you could finally be together.

Summary: In which ellie wanted you back

Masterlist

Ellie Williams wasn’t supposed to come back. Not after what she did.

You’d built a life—steady, slow, whole—without her. Two years since she left you for Cat. Two years of grief, resentment, quiet rebuilding. Two years of convincing yourself that her absence was your freedom.

Now she stood outside the Tipsy Bison, a cigarette twitching between her fingers, hood up, green eyes tracking you like a mark.

“Hey,” she said when you stepped outside, your name low and husky on her tongue like a secret. “Been a while.”

Your stomach twisted. You hadn’t seen that face in two years—only through half-memories and the hollow ache of dreams you refused to admit you had. She still looked the same. Tired. Dangerous. Beautiful in a way that only hurt now.

You didn’t answer.

Ellie took a drag and blew out a slow breath. “You gonna ignore me forever?”

You wanted to. God, you wanted to.

But something about the way she said it—like she already knew you wouldn’t—cracked the surface.

“What do you want, Ellie?”

She shrugged like she didn’t already have a thousand motives stitched beneath her skin. “I just wanted to see you. Thought we could talk.”

You gave her a hard look. “After two years?”

“Yeah,” she said softly. “After two years.”

Jesse didn’t believe it. Dina was pissed. Even Maria—who didn’t usually let things shake her—grew cold the moment Ellie’s name passed through your lips.

“She’s back?” Maria asked, arms crossed as she leaned against the kitchen counter, lips tight. “Why?”

“I don’t know,” you answered, which wasn’t a lie. Not really.

“She’s dangerous,” Dina added, always the realist. “Not in the ‘gonna hurt you physically’ way. In the ‘gonna pull your brain apart thread by thread’ way.”

You told yourself they were being dramatic. That you were stronger now. That Ellie couldn’t touch you anymore.

But then she started showing up.

Once at the diner where you worked—ordering coffee she never drank. Once near your cabin, claiming she “just happened to be walking by.” And once, late at night, waiting on your porch with a bottle of whiskey and a sad, slanted smile.

You didn’t let her in. Not that night.

The day she finally got to you was rainy. Thunder hung in the distance, and Cat was away on patrol. You’d been in the garden, hands dirty, hair damp, when Ellie showed up at the gate like a ghost resurrected.

“You still wear that necklace I gave you,” she said, voice soft and surprised.

You looked down. A slip of silver tucked beneath your shirt. You’d forgotten it was there. It pissed you off that she noticed. Pissed you off more that you hadn’t taken it off.

You wanted to tell her to leave, but she just kept going.

“I fucked up,” she whispered. “I thought Cat was… I don’t know. Simpler. Safer. But it was never like it was with you.”

You rolled your eyes, wiping mud on your pants. “You’re two years too late.”

“Are you happy?” she asked suddenly referring to the girl you had recently started dating.

Her name was Daisy. She was perfect, she gave you everything Ellie didn't. But you didn't love her like you loved Ellie.

No one could compare to Ellie.

The question landed like a gut punch. You weren’t expecting it. She leaned in then, crowding your space, eyes glassy and searching.

“Does she make you feel the way I did?”

You stared at her. “She doesn’t make me feel like shit. That’s the difference.”

Ellie flinched, and for a moment, you felt victorious.

But then she laughed—low, bitter. “You say that, but you’re not pushing me away.”

You did, then. Shoved her back with dirt-caked fingers and slammed the gate shut.

The problem was—Ellie didn’t stop.

She started leaving things. A drawing of you from memory, folded neatly in your mailbox. A song on a tape labeled "for the nights you still think of me." A note under your door that said, “She doesn’t know you like I do. She never will.”

You told yourself you hated it. You told yourself it was manipulation. You weren’t wrong. But you also didn’t tell Daisy.

The tension grew like a weed.

Daisy sensed it. Of course she did. She wasn’t stupid.

“You’ve been weird lately,” she said one night, her voice clipped. “Distant.”

You looked down at your hands. “Just tired.”

“You’re not still hung up on her, are you?”

Silence.

“Jesus,” Daisy muttered. “You are.”

“It’s not like that,” you insisted, even though it was exactly like that. Ellie was a wound that never fully healed. Just scarred over enough to convince you it had.

Daisy stood up, disgusted. “She left you. She replaced you. And now she comes back and suddenly you’re forgetting everything we’ve built?”

You didn’t answer.

Because Ellie had taken up space in your mind again. And you were letting her.

The night it all boiled over, the power had gone out.

A storm swept through Jackson and left the town flickering in candlelight. You were alone in your cabin when a knock hit your door. Slow. Measured.

You knew it was her.

Ellie didn’t wait to be invited. She stepped in, soaked to the bone, hair plastered to her forehead, and eyes wild with something between hope and desperation.

“I can’t stop thinking about you,” she whispered. “Every time I close my eyes, it’s you. It’s always been you.”

You backed away, heart hammering. “You left me.”

“I know,” she said, voice breaking. “I was scared. I didn’t know how to love you the right way.”

“And now you do?”

She walked closer. “Now I’d rather fuck it up trying than live without you.”

You hated how your knees weakened. Hated how she knew just what to say.

“This is wrong,” you said.

“But it feels right,” she countered, and then she kissed you.

It was lightning in the bloodstream. Familiar. Addictive. Toxic.

And you kissed her back. Only for a moment.

Then you shoved her away. “I can’t do this.”

Ellie’s expression shattered. “You still love me.”

You hesitated. Then: “That’s not the point.”

The next day, you told Daisy everything.

It ended in shouting. Slamming doors. Tears. She left. Said she needed time.

And you stood in the wreckage, heart hollow, stomach twisted with guilt and something uglier: relief.

Ellie showed up that night. Like she knew.

“I heard,” she said, leaning against your porch railing. “You told her.”

You didn’t reply.

Ellie smiled, and it wasn’t kind. It was something darker. Hungrier.

“Guess it’s just us now.”

masterlist

The smell of weed was the first thing that reached Ellie's nose when she walked into the house.

Mid term exams has had her stressed and she's barley been out. Whoever said college would be easy, lied because she's never been this stressed.

She needed to blow off some steam and what better way is there than to get blackout out drunk and to fuck a random girl she'll never talk to again.

It was too early in the night to make a move. She need to wait for the straight girls to get drunk, and for the overly emotional girls to come her way.

She sat on a couch scanning the room. So many victims, so many options.

Who will be the lucky girl tonight?

"You know its gross to eye fuck innocent people?" she heard a voice talk next to her.

A small frown appeared on Ellie's face when she turned to you.

Holy shit, who are you?

Her eyes scanned your body.... fuck

Maybe you'd be the lucky one

You noticed her staring and you rolled your eyes before saying: "Take your pervert eyes off me"

Oh you were feisty.

Ellie never had a problem with women. Most of them threw themselves at her, all she needed to do was say a few words and give them a small smile and they'd be moaning her name minutes later.

She was confident that she'll get you too. She just needed to pull out all the stops when it came to you.

Ellie chuckled at your comment "I'm not a pervert, I'm just checking to make sure you don't have a weapon on you?" she joked.

"What weapon? My strap on?" You snorted.

oh.

Ellie wasn't expecting that.

"What's wrong? Cat got your tongue?" you teased at her sudden silence.

Ellie shook her head quickly gaining her composure.

"Has anyone ever told you that you were pretty?" She quickly tried changing the subject.

You hummed "quite a few... has anyone ever told you that you suck at flirting?"

Now this made her jaw drop.

You didn't giggle like she expected, you didn't give her a shy smile.

What the fuck is happening?

"You're boring" you state, you got up and left.

You left the Ellie Williams speechless.

The longer the night went on the more her mind drifted to you. Her mission of finding someone to fuck ended as soon as you came into the picture.

She wanted you. She was on a mission to find you. But between all the people grinding up against each other she thought that would be impossible.

"Hey there loser" she heard your voice she immediately turned to you.

"h-hey" did she just fucking stutter?

"Did you find someone to fuck yet?" you asked she shook her head.

"Maybe we can..." Ellie went silent, too shy to finish her sentence.

She made two scissors with her hands and she made a scissoring motion "you k-know.... me and you"

You laugh at her. You fucking laugh at her.

"Don't be pathetic, use your words"

Ellie felt humiliated. Why were you telling her what to do? Normally she was the one giving orders. Ellie decided that its time to switch roles. She wanted to be in charge.

"Well lets go to the bathroom and ill show you what i can do"

"so you're saying im some kind of cheap fuck?"

"N-no i mean... i meant like-"

"see fucking pathetic"

Ellie was sweating, her cheeks were tinted in a dark shade of pink.

What were you doing to her?

You gently took her hand "show me where your dorm is" was all you said.

The rest was a blur to her.

Lips passionately touching each other, clothes flying off, your fingers in her. A tiny rose tattoo on your left shoulder. She's never cum so hard in her life.

After tonight she knew you fucked her over.

No one had made her this nervous, no one has ever made her finish this hard, no one had ever made her this submissive.

Who are you?

Ellie groaned when she heard her alarm go off. She rolled over to the side of the bed you were laying on, but you weren't there.

She opened her eyes to a cold empty bed.

"Fuck" she sighed.

She never got your name, she doesn't have your number, she doesn't know anything about you.

The memory of you on top of her, you moaning was all she could think about.

Fuck, how she just forget that? How could she forget you?

The only thing she remembered was the rose tattoo on your left shoulder.

"Fuck rose who are you?"

Can You Do A Fic Off The Song Poison By Brent Faiyaz

Know you ride it right

I might just die tonight

But you know I'm still coming through baby (through baby)

I know it's bad for me

And you know it tastes so sweet

I think I need your abuse baby

A relationship filled with jealousy, possessiveness and obsession isn’t really healthy. And Ellie knew that. And since she was a little girl Ellie decided that she would never be in a toxic relationship.

“as soon as I see some toxic shit happen I’m leaving” she used to say.

But Ellie was a hypocrite. Telling people to leave their toxic situations because it wasn’t healthy, but Ellie herself was in one of the most toxic relationships in the whole of Jackson.

Ellie and y/n started dating exactly two years ago, and from an outsider’s perspective the relationship seemed healthy. Many people would even describe the two as the perfect pair. A couple that was a good example of a healthy relationship, so you could guess everyone’s surprise when the two of you broke up. But in reality no one knew what happened behind closed doors.

Behind closed doors your relationship was anything but healthy. Argument after argument and instead of sorting things out like a normal couple Ellie had you moaning her name, and begging her to give you more. You made each other jealous on purpose, you argued, you fucked and then you pretend like nothing happened. You both manipulated each other. You both hurt each other. But for some reason you stayed together. For two whole years the two of lived a life of jealousy, anger, and sex.

Ellie shouldn’t be here. She shouldn’t be standing outside your house. She should be at home with her fiancé Dina, celebrating their engagement but yet she was at your house. She let out a sigh as she brought up her hand to knock. Ellie waited exactly two minutes -not that she was counting or anything- before you opened up the door. The two of you made eye contact, before you said “what the fuck are you doing here-“  but before you could even finish Ellie walked forward cupping your cheeks, as she brought her lips down to give you a kiss. Instinctively you kissed back, your lips locking with the women that broke your heart. It didn’t take long for Ellie to deepen the kiss. This is what she’s been thing of for the last year since the two of you broke up.

Ellie walked you into the house, without breaking the kiss she closed the door behind you, pushing you against it soon after.

Hesitantly Ellie pulled away from the kiss looking into your eyes, before she could go back to kissing you, you said:

“Ellie go home”

Ellie didn’t say anything, as she run her fingertips over your arm, eyes never leaving your lips

“No”

“Ellie-“ you said, your voice suddenly disappearing as you felt Ellie’s hand dropping lower and lower, getting closer to your core

“Fuck” she breathed “I know I shouldn’t be here but you’re the only one I want”. Looking away from your lips to look you in the eyes “you fucking ruined me but I can’t stay away from you”

“Ellie what about Dina?” you breathed as Ellie brought her lips closer to yours, her hand already working on unbuttoning your jeans.

“Dina isn’t that important right now” she hummed at her own statement, “let me do this one more time before I have to get married”

Ellie looked into your eyes “is that ok with you?” she asked, she needed your consent before she did anything to you. And when you nod your head Ellie had a wicked grin on her face “fuck yeah” she breathed as she locked your lips once more. The kiss was filthy, teeth clashing, spit connecting, Ellie was practically tongue fucking you at that point. Ellie pulled away slowly, a string of spit connecting to the two of you. You gave her a small smile, lips swollen from the fiery kiss you both just shared.

“I’m going to fucking ruin you”

Girl, you do damage to me

You know I love it, yeah I love you

Ain't nothing better for me now

Girl, you do damage to me

You know, I love it, yeah I love you

Ain't nothing better for me now

Than your poison baby

God she would do anything to be with you again. The way you moaned her name, the way you tasted, the way your eyes closed in pleasure, she missed all of that. She’ll forever have the memories of it, and while Dina is asleep she touches herself because you were her girl. And she needed to have you. She needed to hear you chant her name over and over again. She needed to wake up, and roll over, to find your naked body laying with her.

Just the thought of you already had an effect on her, Ellie let out a quite fuck as she got out of bed, trying not to wake Dina up. She walked to the bathroom, quietly closing the door, hand immediately reaching into her boxers to sort herself out. Now Ellie knew what people with drug addictions meant when they said they can’t quit or leave the drugs behind.

Dina would never be you, Dina will never sound like you, or taste like you. And fuck Ellie doesn’t know how she’ll get married to Dina without thinking of you. Most of the times, to make sex with the poor girl bearable she would imagine it’s you laying there, gripping her hair and crying for Ellie. But every time she opened her eyes she was always met with disappointment. Dina. It’s not you. Its fucking Dina.

Ellie would do anything for you. She would die for you. She would kill for you. But after spending that one night with you, Ellie realized she would much rather die than marry Dina. She had to think of something before she got married to her. Ellie wants you. And she didn’t want to ruin her reputation and leave Dina, no- she needed to think of something else.

Ellie knows there was someone out there for her. Someone she could share a healthy relationship with, but she doesn’t give two fucks. You were dirty, manipulative, and so fucking toxic but you tasted so good. You were like a weed that hurts and poisons everything around them, but Ellie doesn’t fucking care.

Your poison has seeped into her veins, and damaged her beyond repair. And you knew what you were doing, she could tell. At times Ellie wonders who else fell victim to you and your poison, but she tried not to think about it too often. Because she wants to be your one and only. She would kill anyone, who even looks at you if she had the chance. But you weren’t hers anymore. And she wasn’t yours anymore.

Ellie soon reached her release, and she quickly washed her hands, deciding to let her hands air dry. As she walked out of the bathroom, she saw Dina lay there, sleeping peacefully. And blissfully unaware that she wouldn’t wake up the next day.

Mh-mh-mh-mh, oh

Angel of the night

Drown between your thighs

I'm still here, ain't no excuse baby (excuse baby)

“Ellie” you moaned her name like a mantra. Like it was the only word you knew, and Ellie felt her chest fill with pride as she continued fucking her fingers into you.

“Yeah, you like that?” she breathed needing more confirmation from you, and you just let out a pornographic moan and just by the sound of your moan Ellie knew she was doing good.

Ellie killed Dina that night. Grabbing her hunting knife and slitting Dina’s throat as she was sleeping. Dina opened her eyes grabbing onto Ellie’s arm mouthing words. No sound came from her mouth but her lips were moving. Ellie watched as Dina slowly bled, the blood dripping onto her bed.

“Why aren’t you fucking dying?” Ellie asked aloud out of frustration, when she saw Dina’s eyes still moving. She hopped onto the bed straddling Dina, stabbing her in the chest over and over again. Ellie blacked out at some point imagining you telling her how proud you were of her for doing this. For you. Ellie was doing this with you to be with you again.

Soon after Ellie killed Dina she hoped into the shower, leaving Dina’s body there, and she went to you. The only person she truly found comfort in.

And that were she was right now, fucking her ex-girlfriend after she killed her fiancé. Ellie couldn’t be happier, she was with you again, she was between your thighs doing what she loved the most. And this time Ellie doesn’t have to worry about going home to Dina. Now she can finally plan on getting back together with you. She would ask you out in a romantic way, but first she had to sort out her little Dina problem.

As soon as you fell asleep Ellie, slipped out of the room going back to her and Dina’s house. Ellie didn’t even flinch at the scene before her. She effortlessly lifted Dina’s body off the bed groaning when she realized she needed to get new bedding after this.

She put Dina’s body into the bathtub as she started dismembering the body. Cutting off piece by piece, Ellie sighed at the amount of work she still had left. Dismembering a human is similar to an animal. Ellie was thankful that Joel taught her how to cut animals up, otherwise she wouldn’t have been able to get rid of Dina.

When Ellie was eventually done she put Dina’s limbs into a freezer, deciding that the best way to dump Dina’s body, would be next time she was on patrol. Ellie cleaned the bedroom and the bathroom, and when she finally finished she had a small smile on her lips.

She was free. No more Dina. Now she could finally focus on you.

I see you in my sleep

I'm scarred beyond belief

Ain't nothing you can't make me do, baby (do baby)

Ellie had to act as a girl that was grieving. Her story was that she and Dina had an argument and Dina just left and never came back. And everyone believed it it. On the outside Ellie had to force herself to cry and to be sad, but on the inside she was celebrating that Dina was gone.

Every time she enters her room, she can’t help but smile, remembering the moment she killed Dina. She was happy. But she was even happier that you came over and told her everything was going to be ok.

Nobody needed to know, what happened to Dina. Nobody needed to know that it was Ellie who got rid of her. Nobody even suspected that Dina died.

Ellie doesn’t care how long she needs to play as this grieving women, that lost “the love of her life” because you would come around and comfort her. And you would cook for her. You’re taking care of her. Just like she always wanted. You were like her little housewife.

If Ellie could she would go back in time and she would kill Dina all over again. There was nothing you would say that she won’t do. Yes, you didn’t tell her to kill Dina but Ellie assumed that’s what you would have wanted from her. Remembering a time that you said “If you end up with anybody else I’ll fucking kill them. You only need me. You’re fucking worthless without me” And Ellie didn’t want you to get your hands dirty to kill Dina so she did it for you. At the time she didn’t believe it when you said she was worthless without you, but you were right. You were always right. She was worthless, useless without you. She really needed you to live happily.

Anything it takes. No matter how messy the situation got. Anything for you.

Girl, you do damage to me

But I love it babe

Oh, you're poisonous baby (oh-oh)

Now Ellie lay next to you. Enjoying the comfort, you gave her as she still continued to be “sad” about Dina.

Ellie knew her obsession was bad. She knew her behavior was not healthy. She knew she had to stop before she killed someone else. But it was you. Who wouldn’t be obsessed with someone like you?

You poisoned Ellie, you broke her, but she really doesn’t care. As long as she’s with you, she doesn’t feel the damage your poison brings her.

MILF ABBY WITH READER WHO HATES KIDS HC — Abby Anderson

— You and your friends know that you do not have a single motherly instinct in your bones, you and kids do not mix well together.

— This one time you were just strolling while shopping and a toddler came up to say hi to you and you just stared at it wondering what to do.

— If there’s a child screaming at the top of their little lungs you literally give it a death glare.

— You also call children “it” and make everyone laugh every time you talk about a kid.

— But if it wasn’t for Abby’s six-year-old daughter Melanie who came up to you one day at a your local grocery store crying like snot bubbling at her nose and she looked sticky trying to hold your hand you wouldn’t have met your future milf wife.

“Oh, uh hi— why are you crying?” You let the little child grab your pointer finger as you tried to hard to fight your inner demons from the stickiness of her little hand.

“I— I can’t find my mommy.” She used her other hand to wipe the snot off her face, you could feel every nerve in your body cringe. You felt bad for the thing but jesus why are kids so fucking sticky.

You and the kid sat on one of the benches inside the store, you bought her some candy to make it stop crying and it worked. You did inform an employee that there was a lost kid, they spoke on the intercom after telling you that if the parent isn’t here in a certain amount of time they would call law enforcement.

“So, what’s your name?” You pinched your eyebrows together looking at the small being next to you devouring the ring pop like her life depended on it.

“Melanie but all my friends call me Melly.” She gave you a toothy smile well … she was missing majority of her teeth so half toothy smile?

“That’s … nice? You have friends?” She shook her head, her two little braids looked like she got into a street fight.

“Yeah, a lot like a lot of friends, what’s your na—“ She was cut off by a woman’s voice calling out for her.

“Melanie!” Both of your eyes shot up at the… holy fucking fuck she was breath taking.

— You found out that her name is Abby and she has a little escape artist for a child, she hugged you tightly with those giant arms thanking you for keeping her baby safe.

— Abby was truly taken back by how beautiful you are, she was quick to tell you she’ll repay you and managed to get your number while doing so.

— You guys ended up bonding really fast, even though you two were almost complete opposites she was so fascinated by you.

— She invited you over to dinner at her house and fuck was she loaded, not like you were in it for the money but damn must be nice.

— She genuinely found it so amusing how you would interact with Melanie, treating her like a little adult. You weren’t the type to use baby words towards kids you just spoke to them.

— Melanie really resembled Abby to the T, she had her mom’s blue eyes, freckles, the cutest nose but she had blonder hair, you just assumed it was from the dad.

— After months of basically hanging out with them you guys felt so inseparable, you still would give concerning expressions whenever Melanie would do something weird.

— Abby was falling in love you, whenever all three of you would watch a movie that Melanie always picked out and yes you did argue with a six year old about picking movies she would just have the urge to grab your face and kiss you.

— For halloween you bought Melanie an inflatable dinosaur costume with a pink tutu, you literally were crying from how silly she looked holding Abby’s hand.

— Abby was so reluctant to make the first move, scared that she was too old for you but little did she know how much it turned you on that she was older.

— You decided to ask Abby out on a date, you called her up while you were at home, heart beating out of your chest when she said yes.

— The date was at the arcade, cheesy but Abby always won you prizes every time you guys went with Melly. She beat at you literally every single game and being competitive you just glared at her.

— Melanie was at a sleepover at her friend’s home so you and Abby had the place to yourselves, after the date you guys were chilling in her kitchen Abby finally had the courage to kiss you.

“Can I please kiss you?” She looked at you with those pleading eyes, a slight whine to her words.

NSFW mdi NSFW mdi NSFW

— She pinned your back against the counter, her hand cupping the side of your face, the kiss felt so warm but soon became greedy.

— She carried you to her room, your legs wrapped around her waist, arms around her neck as you drove her fucking crazy kissing on her neck like that.

— Abby has a Daddy kink, she had her strap settled deep in your drooling cunt, legs on her shoulder, thrusting so fucking deliciously making you claw at her arms.

“Mmmgh— oh fuck Abby..” Your eyes were rolled to the back of your head, knuckles white from the grip you had on her arms.

“Daddy, call me fucking Abby again and I wont let you cum.” She slapped your face, grabbing it with her hands squeezing your cheeks together.

God this wasn’t the sweet, motherly Abby you knew but some sex god who would fuck you so stupid it left you an incoherent mess.

— She had crazy stamina, had you in every position, face down with your ass up, riding her cock, your back pressed against her front as she spread your legs open drilling your bruised and aching pussy.

— She was so mean, she mocked your moans, bit your skin, slapped your tearful face every time you stopped looking at her. You couldn’t get enough of this side of her.

— She over stimulated you so much you were sobbing, trembling every time she would touch you, your legs shook violently.

Abby had her arms wrapped securely around your thighs, spreading them open so wide. Her tongue lapping you up, sucking on your puffing clit, sliding her tongue inside your sore cunt.

“Daddy please! Too much, s’too much, too much” You squealed, crying out trying to push her head off of you.

— After long hours of her using you, she was so quick to turn her motherly instincts back on. Kissing your face so sweetly, her eyes filled with worry that she pushed you over the edge.

— You reassured her that it was the best fucking sex you’ve ever had. She started a bath for you, sitting right behind you as she massaged your aching body, running her fingers over the love bites she left scattered on your body.

— She held you so tightly as you both had fallen asleep on her amazing bed.

Pairing: ellie x fem!reader

requests are always open, feel free to leave one:) or just send me a song and I'll take it from there. Remember if you want something specific to happen, please indicate it in your request.

Warnings: mental illness, mental hospitals, manhandling and mentions of pills, medication, injections and brief mentions of violence

Summary: In which Ellie wrote you a song.

Hi I’m The Person Who Requested Ellie X Read Based On Mary - Alex G U Don’t Have To Answer This Ask

Mary is the girl that I wanna kiss

She's got big red eyes and big red lips

She's got big sharp teeth and big fat hips

Mary is the girl that I wanna fuck

She's got leather heart and leather gloves

She's the only girl that I wanna love

Ellie has always referred to you as Mary. She never knew your real name.

All the times she'd beg you to answer her you'd simply giggle and say: "it's better being a secret"

You were everything Ellie has always wanted. The girl she was so madly in love with, and she didn't even know your name. You were the only thing keeping her sane at this point.

The night Ellie had met you, you sat alone outside on a bench, singing the nursery rhyme Mary had a little lamb over and over again. And the name Mary just stuck with Ellie since them.

You were her Mary. The only girl that she ever wanted to love.

Ellie liked to imagine that in a perfect world it would just be the two of you.

One where she doesn't have to stay in a mental institution. And where you don't have to sneak in every night.

Ellie was sick and tired if this place and truly doesn't know why Joel would send her here.

The walls were painted white, and all she had in her room was a bed.

"Mary is the girl that I wanna fuck?" You raised your eyebrows slightly at Ellie's vulgar lyrics.

Her cheeks turned a slight shade of pink when you brought it up.

"Yeah" Ellie spoke softly.

"You wanna fuck me?" You asked Ellie with a smile on your face.

"I mean yeah-"

The sound of keys jiggling could be heard from down the hall. Ellie let out as quick gasp at that.

Fuck it must've been time to take her meds.

Ellie watched as you quickly jumped out the window, the paper containing the song Ellie wrote dedicated to you slowly falling to the ground. In an instant Ellie jumped up quickly picking up the paper and she stuffed it into her bra.

The door opened as Ellie casually sat on her bed waiting for the nurse to arrive. Nurse Elizabeth walked in with a huge smile on her face.

Ellie rolled her eyes as the nurse, who walked towards her trying to make small talk.

Who the fuck is this happy while working in mental institution?

Ellie took the pills from the nurses hand before, she put it into her mouth. Ellie drank the water that the nurse gave to her, wishing all of this was over and that you'd just come back.

"Open up" the nurse spoke as she put her finger into Ellies mouth.

The girl gagged slightly as the nurse reached her finger further and further down her throat.

"Sorry" the nurse spoke "I have to make sure you take your meds" she finished as she gave Ellie an empathic smile.

All Ellie did was hum and lay down. The nurse soon left and Ellie heard the door lock.

She sat up immediately spitting out the pills.

"Do they really taste taste bad?" Ellie heard your voice.

"How did you get back here so fast?" she asked.

All you did was give her a wink before you walked towards her, opening your hand.

Ellie stared down confused before she realized that you were looking for the song. She quickly pulled the note from her bra as she handed you the paper.

A smile took over your face as you continued reading the lyrics.

And all Ellie could do was smile and enjoy the final moments she has with you for that day before you would disappear again.

Listen to me, baby, I don't mind

I wanna be with you and waste my time

Give it to me, baby, I feel good

I wanna feel whatever you think I should

Sing it for me, baby, play my song

I wanna hear your daddy singing along

5 more months.

5 more fucking months, Ellie had to be in this fucking hell hole.

As Ellie walked down the hall she gazed into the other people's rooms. There were some really messed up people in here.

Truthfully Ellie doesn't know why she's here. She doesn't deserve it.

She wonders why you were here. She wonders why you only come at night. She wonders why she never sees you when she's with people. She wonders in which room you were staying.

So many questions so little answers.

Today was Wednesday. Which meant that they had a talent show. Every Wednesday all the different wards would come together and each patient could show their talent.

Ellie never participated. She always thought it was cringe and stupid. But today she wanted to do something she wanted to sing you the song she had written for you.

As Ellie sat in the room she watched different patients go up to front to do their thing. Some would sing, some would dance and some would just stand there awkwardly.

When Ellie raised her hand to go next, the nurse called out her patient number as she got up and walked towards the front.

Ellie shakily held the paper as she looked up to the crowd.

She saw you standing at the back, giving her a huge smile and a thumbs up.

God you were beautiful.

She could do this. She was doing this for you.

Ellie closed her eyes as she started singing the song.

She sang about your eyes, and how your lips were painted red with lipstick the night you met. She sang about your hips and how she so badly wanted to hold you. How badly she just wanted a taste.

You were only girl Ellie wanted to spend the rest of life with and yet she didn't even know your name.

But you'll always be her Mary.

As Ellie finished her song, the crowd clapped their hands, and a small smile appeared on Ellies face.

Her smile soon disappeared when she saw you weren't in the crowd anymore.

Where were you? Didn't you like her song? Do you hate her? What happened?

As Ellie was thinking she felt a hand on her shoulder. Ellie turned around, and her eyes met with one the the nurses.

"Doctor Bernard wants to see you"

Mary is the girl that leaves you to rot

She says, "I am real and you are not"

She says, "I am real and you are not"

"Ellie how long have you been seeing this girl?" Doctor Bernard asked her.

"Her name is Mary" she replied not answering his question.

"Mary isn't real"

"she is"

"Ellie you're seeing things" The doctor started. "That's why you're here, that's why you take medicine-"

"no you're lying" Ellie yelled as she got up from her chair. Her arms were quickly grabbed by the staff as they lowered her back down into the chair. The autumn brow haired girl started screaming as she was forced to sit down again.

"She's fucking real" Ellie yelled as she lunged forward, another nurse ran from the side holding an injection to Ellie's throat.

Doctor Bernard raised his hand telling the nurse to move away.

"Ellie calm down so we can talk about this"

Heavy breathes fell from Ellies lips as she looked to the floor, saliva started dripping from her lips. The room felt hot.

"She's real" Ellie breathed almost in tears. Why aren't they listening to her?

"it's ok I believe you"

And as soon as he said that Ellie looked up with her eyes wide.

"You believe me?" She asked in genuine shock.

They always told her she was crazy. They always told her there was something wrong with her, but now he believes her?

Ellie felt relived. She really wasn't crazy.

"I do" he said.

"How did she get in?"

"You won't hurt her if I tell you?" Ellie asked.

Your safety was the most important, Ellie didn't want you to end up in solitary or worse, a higher dose of whatever medication they were giving you.

"I won't he promised, now tell me"

"She comes in through the window"

Ellie watched his facial expression closely. She watched him look up to the staff as he gave them a nod. Ellie felt the nurses holding her, gripping her even stronger.

"what the fuck-" Ellie cried as she felt them hold her harder. Ellie felt a cold metal against her neck as she she screamed.

"you said you believed me!"

She kicked, she cried, she spat and she swore but nothing helped.

Soon the drug kicked in and Ellie felt her whole body go limp. She felt them lower her to the floor and she felt very sleepy.

"You said you believed me" Ellie breathed one more time as she looked at doctor Bernard standing above her.

"Ellie there isn't a window in your room"

Ellie felt tired, it was as if everything around her was slowing down.

"Mary isn't real, she never was"

Ellie opened her mouth to talk but no words came out.

The last thing Ellie heard that day was: "you are real and she is not"

Summary: In which you found eachother

Masterlist

Rain poured in sheets over Seattle, swallowing the city's broken skyline in a haze of grey. You and Dina had been on the move for hours, darting through ruins in search of supplies. Ellie had gone ahead to scout, but you and Dina had been tasked with clearing the east wing of an old hotel—the one that creaked like it could collapse any second.

Dina's flashlight flickered across the hallway as she glanced back at you. “You good?”

“Peachy,” you replied, offering her a crooked smile. You tried to play it off, but your heart was thudding. Not from fear of infected—but from her.

She was beautiful, even in the worst of it. Eyes sharp and warm, always alert. Lips you’d stared at too long. And though the two of you had never said it, not in words, it was always there between you. In the glances. The lingering touches. The way her hand would sometimes brush yours, and neither of you would pull away.

The hotel’s moan interrupted your thoughts.

“I hear something,” Dina said. Her voice dropped to a whisper. “Basement. You go left, I’ll loop right?”

You nodded, heart sinking.

Five minutes later, you were pinned between a pair of infected and a failing security door. Dina shouted through the radio—she was on the other side, but the horde was between you now. You ran, feet slamming into wet tile, until you hit the emergency lockdown switch on instinct.

The door began to close.

“(Y/N)!” Dina’s voice crackled. She was close—too close.

You looked back. She was sprinting, eyes wild, arm outstretched. Behind you, the infected closed in.

“No!” she screamed. “Don’t close it! I’m right here!”

Your hand hovered over the override.

“I love you,” you whispered—too quiet for her to hear. “That’s why.”

Then you hit the button. The door slammed shut, cutting off her scream.

Her fists pounded the metal as you stumbled back, already pulling your knife. The infected rounded the corner and you screamed her name once before the fight swallowed you whole.

Then—black.

You woke up in a truck bed outside the city, barely breathing, ribs broken, blood caking your clothes. A patrol had found you—but you didn’t ask where Dina was. You were too ashamed.

She thought you were dead.

Good.

Let her hate you. Let her move on. Because at least she was alive.

You spent weeks healing. Every day felt like penance—until one morning, unable to carry the weight of her absence, you did what you swore you wouldn’t.

You went back to Jackson.

You looked nothing like yourself. Thinner. Bruised. Limps where there weren’t any before. You didn’t expect to be recognized.

But she was there—Dina—on the watchtower.

When she saw you, she froze. Her rifle slipped from her shoulder, clattering to the floor. Then she was running.

You barely had time to open your arms before she crashed into you.

And then her fist slammed into your jaw.

You hit the ground, dazed. Her scream pierced the air.

“You selfish piece of shit!”

You didn’t get up.

“You left me! I begged you—begged—and you shut that door anyway!”

“I had to,” you croaked. “They were—”

“I don’t care!” she shouted, sobbing now. “You let me think you were dead. Every day, I thought—I thought—”

She collapsed beside you, fists clenched.

“I couldn't lose you,” you whispered.

“You lost me anyway.”

Silence stretched. Only your broken breathing and her sobs remained.

Then, quietly, she asked, “Did you mean it?”

“What?”

She looked at you, her eyes wet and furious. “When you said you loved me.”

You didn’t answer with words.

You sat up, ignoring the pain, and kissed her.

Not soft. Not sweet.

It was angry. Raw. Desperate.

And when you broke apart, gasping for air, she grabbed your jacket and pulled you into her arms like she couldn’t let go.

“I hate you,” she whispered.

“I know.”

“I love you more.”

Dina let you stay with her. Said it was temporary. Said you were still on thin ice. But every night, she made room for you in her bed.

Every morning, her arm stayed wrapped around your waist long after the alarm went off.

She never said she forgave you. But she stopped flinching when you touched her. She stopped looking away when you said her name.

You learned to talk again. About what happened. About why. And one night, when the wind howled outside and the fire crackled low, she reached across the gap between you and said—

“You don’t get to leave again.”

You swallowed hard. “I won’t.”

“You promise?”

“I swear.”

She pressed her forehead to yours. “Then I’ll stay too.”

Seattle had taken so much from you both. But what it couldn’t take—what it never could—was this.

The choice to love.

To stay.

To come back, no matter how broken.

Because in the end, love wasn’t in the sacrifice. It was in the fight.

And you’d fight for her. Every single time.
