omg I wanted to make a Trico piece since I finished the game!! D: I finished this about a month ago but I guess I forgot I had a tumblr account so sorry about that. ;;; Anyway! This piece took FOREVER but I’m SO happy with it! I actually want to make another version no, now bigger. This piece is 10x13 and I think I’m gonna to try to go about twice as big.

This takes place sometime after Garm loses two of his arms in the fic I am shamelessly writing. It’s a magical dealio, so don’t worry, not too much bloodloss for Garmy here!!

Anyway, Garm ended up in a fistfight with a guy who knocked Koko onto the ground. After helping her back up, that guy’s friend started a fight by uppercutting Garm in the jaw & then punching the warlord solidly in the eye, which popped open the skin by his eyebrow. After that, Garm went /a bit/ into overkill mode & KNOCKED THOSE MOTHER F-ERs DOWWWWWWWN.

Once the two retreated back to their base, Koko could see Garm had a bruise starting around his eye & tried to convince him to let her help apply ointment & clean him up. Being that Garm’s been on his own for quite a while, he’s more than certain he can take care of himself & “man up” & just deal with the pain.

But, Garm & Koko have this whole trust thing between them, which she uses to break through Garm’s hard headed skull, & he allows her to help.

Turns out, the injury looked a bit worse than Koko had expected &…

Horns are tough since they’re complex 3D shapes that often overlap. Until you’re comfortable with them I’d highly suggest always looking up ref pics of the type you want or try to buy a set so you can move them around to see how perspective distorts them.
