This video touches on the experiences of adults with ASD that are fired from their jobs. I'm not being fired, but the fact that this happens so frequently to people on the spectrum is heartbreaking. We can do better. I am on the spectrum, and the challenges faced by autistic people in the workplace that are mentioned in the video are all too familiar. Be kind, and think before you label someone as lazy, incompetent, arrogant, socially awkward, etc, it's possible they are on the spectrum and they just do not clearly understand the expectations of others.
