There’s a scene in JLA/Spectre: Soul War issue 2 where the League members are being trapped in realities created by their own psyches, and they’re supposed to be ones where they’re happy or it’s what they truly desire in life

And then here’s the Plastic Man one.

Fuck me if this doesn’t say a lot about his character and how he truly feels inside. J.M. DeMatties really went for my throat with this one.

On one hand the question of "how did Otto live for that week or so with the arms" is best left to movie magic but on the other hand it lends itself to some fun mental images indeed
