(A/n: A lot of you said yes then excepted to my poll so you wish is my command! And yes this is based off of Seven wonders in covenđ)

Brenner couldn't understand it. He had tried everything! Everything to contain your powers the chip that he had given Henry, multiple chips, he even tried to make you brain dead, NONE OF IT WORKED! That was until one of his coworkers came up to him with a possible solution.
"Come in!" Brenner shouted hearing a knock on his office door.
"Sir, I may know how to help with 000." Calvin one of his orderlies said as he stepped inside. Brenner sat back in his chair looking at him.
"Go on.."
"Well, the other workers and I have been doing a lot of research as well as thinking. Sir, Her Powers go all the way back to the Salem Witch Trials.."
"They say that in each Coven there is a particular witch with these powers.. they are called the Supreme Witch, the way to find out is running this test called the Seven Wonders." Calvin said while sliding papers to Brenner.
At first, Dr. Brenner thought it was a joke, but the more he thought about it the more it made sense so he did his own research and decide, that September. 30 which was tomorrow you and only you. Would be doing the Seven Wonders.
"Alright, Y/n the first thing you are going to do is... Telekinesis.." Brenner said, as he put a candle stick on the table across the room from you. "I want you to move this candle stick to you."
You nodded and with ease, taking Barley any energy from you the candle stick swiftly lifted off the table and into your hands. Some people in the room were shocked on how easy it was for you seeing no energy be taken away.
"Okay, next.. Concilium,.. also referred to as mind control or coercion. I want you to make Dean do something.."
Once again with ease you made Dean slap himself hard. You never really liked him, he was always a complete and udder ass to you. Some people laughed before composing themselves quick and writing down your progress. You decided to make it more fun and make Connor slap Dean, then to make them start fighting.. Brenner glared at you, while Henry/Peter watched intrigued as well as fascinated.. you had spooked his interest even more than before.
"That's enough y/n!" Brenner spoke. You heard Dean make a comment and decided to make him slap himself one last time.
"Hm.. this is fun.." you breathed out a laugh.
"Next, is something not a lot of you have seen before.. Transmutation.. also known as Teleportation." They all looked at Brenner some scoffed not believing it.
"Y/n you will teleport to my office and get me your file." Brenner finished, and without a blink, you turned around and disappeared, lights flickering.
 They were shocked, as they saw on the tracker you were in fact in Brenner's office only for a second later you were back in the blink of an eye and dropped the files at Brenner's feet with a thud. Brenner looked down in shock, not excepting that. Just like everyone else, while Henry/Peter looked more intrigued and amused.
"Right... g-Good job.. now next is.. Divination is the power to acquire knowledge about an object, person, or location without the user's physical senses. Y/n I want you to use these three items that are laid out on the table. And find who they belong too."
 You nodded, while going over to the table and hovering your hands over the objects. Taking a deep breath and closing your eyes locating through them to see who they belong too.
"The items belong to the nurse Lydia." You told them as you opened your eyes and moved away your hands.
"That's correct, excellent y/n." Brenner said, while him and some other orderlies set up the next test/experiment.
"This one also another that no one in here has seen.. not even myself.. Pyrokinesis the power to create, control, and manipulate fire with the mind.. what I want you to do Y/n is to light all these candles all at once.." Brenner said.
 Some of the orderlies strayed back getting ready to bolt just in case. You took a deep breath feeling yourself get a bit more exhausted and flexed your hands while lighting all the candles at once not missing one. The orderlies relaxed thankful that nothing had gone wrong.. the only ones who knew you could do it was Lucas and Henry/Peter.
 Brenner. He was starting to get nervous. You were almost completely done with the Seven Wonders, he was amazed and proud. Yes, but he didn't know what would happen or what that ment and he didn't like that.. he didn't like how he couldn't control you like he could with Henry and you doing this test. Is going to determine whether or not you are what they call a supreme..
"Right... next is.. Vitalum Vitalis... It includes balancing the scales between life and death. Witches can drain their life force in order to restore health, heal injuries, or even resurrect a dead person.." Brenner said.
"Y/n, you will need to bring back 005. He had an accident and didn't make it.. I want you to resurrect him.."Brenner said, as two orderlies brought in 005s corpse.
 You were in shock not sure if you could do it.. I mean yeah sure you brought back insects and animals... but never a person. Henry/Peter gave a concerned look towards you knowing that this would drain or could possibly kill you. You caught a glimpse of it and mouthed 'I'll be okay. I promise..' he did not by it. You took a deep shaky breath before walking towards the table.
 Closing your eyes putting your hands up so that they were hovering over the body. Before, inhaling deeply leaning towards the corpse and exhaling all of your breath. You could feel this take a good amount of your energy. Then taking a step back, tiredly as Henry grabbed you so you wouldn't fall. Then, 005 shot up gasping for air and breathing heavily. Everyone stared at in amazement you had actually done it.. you brought him back.
"Dean. Lucas. Take 005 to the infirmary make sure he's okay." Brenner ordered. They got to work helping 005 up and taking him to the infirmary.
"We will give you a break... before we do the final.. part of the test.." with that everyone left except Henry.
"How do you feel?" Henry asked, while giving you some water.
"Tired. Just can't wait to be done with this.. I don't even know what will exactly happen after this.." you spoke after taking a few big sips of the water.
"..I don't think Brenner knows either.. that's why he's scared.. he can't control you.." Henry said almost a bit jealous but worried.
"Just promise me not to over do it.. and come back to me.." "I promise.. I won't over do it.. and I will come back to you.." You promised as he pulled you closer giving you a quick kiss before moving away when the others come back in.
 That's how your relationship worked, the little moments like that.. or the big moments.. but they rarely happened. You could never read him.. but you could tell he worried and cared about you.. or... at least you hoped he did..
"Now, y/n this part of the test is the most dangerous ones you will need to use a lot of your energy for this.. the next part of the test is... Descensum.. the power to project one's soul to the afterlife and the use of astral projection.. you will need to lay down for this last part and say Descensum when you are ready.." Brenner explained.
  You took a deep breath and nodded as Henry and Lenny helped you lay down. Taking another long deep breath before saying "Descensum..." with that you were gone and into the project.
 When you opened your eyes, all you saw was red it looked like the real world but back wards with red vines everywhere... and creatures with a face of a flower.. then you got a glimpse of another creature it was tall looked like it used to be... human...
"She's been under for awhile.."
"What happens if she doesn't come back?"
 We're all the orderlies we're talking about.. Henry knew you could make it back and tried his damnest not to listen to them. He was lured out of his thoughts when the lights started to flicker a lot, he saw you moving the suddenly you raised up gasping for air when everything just stopped.
 Henry/Peter sighed in relief, knowing he was right that you were okay. He was still worried about Brenner's plan for you and knew that he had to start his plan to escape with you soon..
 Once again everyone was shocked, especially Brenner. You had just completed the Seven Wonders the one thing that was almost deemed impossible to survive through.. but here you are still alive. It was true you are the Supreme Witch. Yes, Brenner was hoping that this test would kill you so he wouldn't have to worry about you anymore.. but that didn't work..
 Before, you could catch your breath or relise your surroundings again Brenner had a few guards take you away forcefully. Only seeing Henry's face for a split second before passing out.

Chapter 10: Make up your mind
You and Felix sat side by side in the Capitol's grand viewing hall, surrounded by the buzz of excited chatter. The Hunger Games preview event was in full swing, the tributes and their mentors each stepping onto the stage to perform for the Capitolâs elite, trying to make a lasting impression. The entire room was entranced, the audience eager to see who could captivate the most, who could leave them with something unforgettable.
Felix squeezed your hand lightly, the warmth between you two a welcome relief from the chaos of your respective worlds. As you watched the tributes, the tension in the air was palpableâeveryone on edge, trying to get a glimpse of the next big star.
âDid you see the guy from District 2? Heâs definitely overdoing it,â Felix whispered, shaking his head with a small laugh. âItâs like heâs auditioning for a role in a gladiator movie.â
You snorted quietly, leaning your shoulder against his. âYeah, I was expecting him to pull out a sword or something. Not really my style.â
You both shared a brief, soft chuckle, and the moment between you two was comfortableâeasy.
But the energy in the room shifted as Lucy Gray Baird walked onto the stage, her bright gown sparkling under the lights. Coriolanus Snow stood beside her, his cold eyes scanning the crowd, calculating. As Lucy began to sing, her voice floated through the room, delicate and haunting, drawing the crowdâs rapt attention. The Capitolâs citizens reacted immediately, their applause loud and thunderous as she finished her performance.
Your jaw tightened, a flash of irritation crossing your face. You glanced at Felix, then back at Lucy Gray, who was basking in the spotlight. You couldnât shake the feeling of resentment building up inside you, your frustration with the entire spectacle bubbling to the surface.
âI would almost call that beautiful,â you muttered, your tone bitter. âBut Iâm not about to give her that kind of credit. Sheâs just... too much, don't you think?â
Felix, sensing the change in your mood, gave a slight, knowing smile and gently wrapped his arm around your shoulders, pulling you closer. âSheâs not a patch on you,â he said softly, his voice warm but serious. âYouâre way better than herâway prettier, smarter...â His thumb gently brushed your jaw, and he tilted your face toward him, his gaze locking with yours. He leaned in and placed a soft kiss on your cheek, lingering for a moment before pulling back slightly to look at you with a tender smile.
The touch was small, but it held more meaning than words could convey. You felt a warmth spread through you at the gesture, and for a moment, all the bitterness, all the tension, melted away.
As Lucy Gray smiled from the stage, basking in the adoration of the Capitol, Coriolanus caught sight of Felix and you in the crowd. His gaze flicked to you both, his eyes narrowing ever so slightly before a spiteful smirk curled at the corner of his lips. The look was sharp, filled with something you couldnât quite place, but it set you on edge.
Felix, feeling the subtle shift in the atmosphere, tightened his grip around you, his expression hardening just a little as he followed Coriolanusâ gaze. But he didnât let it linger, instead focusing entirely on you.
âForget him,â Felix whispered, his words a soft promise. âYou donât need to let anyone steal your spotlight, especially not him.â
Your lips twitched into a faint, appreciative smile as you leaned into Felixâs embrace, your head resting against his shoulder. âIâm done worrying about him,â you murmured, your voice low. âBut itâs nice to know youâve got my back.â
Felix pressed a kiss to your temple, pulling you closer, blocking out the rest of the room
The afterparty was everything you had expected it to beâexclusive, dazzling, and filled with Capitol elites who were all too eager to congratulate themselves. The air was thick with the smell of expensive perfume and the clinking of champagne glasses, and you felt an undeniable rush of excitement as you walked into the venue with Felix. The moment you stepped in, your black lace dress caught every eye in the room. It was elegant, alluringâjust enough to spark intrigue but not too much to be considered immodest. You made sure every step was purposeful, feeling the eyes of the crowd follow you, and Felix's arm was firmly planted on your lower back, a quiet declaration of ownership and confidence.
As you entered, Festus, Livia, and Agrippina were already mingling by the bar, and you couldnât help but smile at the sight of them. You could already feel the tension of the day slipping away, the excitement of the night taking over. Felix kept his arm around you as you approached the group, and everyone greeted you warmly.
âYou two look great!â Olivia said, eyeing your dress with an appreciative look. âDamn, girl, you really know how to turn heads.â
You smirked. âI try,â you said, glancing up at Felix, who shot you a playful grin in return. âThanks. You all look great too.â
Saja raised her glass, giving a wink. âYouâre definitely making an entrance tonight.â
You leaned in to join the conversation, your mind briefly drifting away from the nagging feeling in your chest. It was a good night. You looked good, and Felix was by your side. This was the life you deserved.
But then, just as you were about to lose yourself in the moment, the doors swung open, and in walked Coriolanus Snow. His presence filled the room immediatelyâcalm, collected, and unbothered, like he owned the place. You couldnât help but roll your eyes, though you quickly masked your irritation. You werenât about to let him ruin your night. Not now.
âUgh, look who it is,â Olivia whispered under her breath, her eyes narrowing slightly. âDid you hear about his performance today? He and Lucy Gray are practically unbeatable.â
âOf course they are,â you muttered under your breath, but you couldnât help the simmering frustration bubbling inside. âHe thrives on attention. Itâs all heâs ever cared about.â
Agrippina nodded, looking over at the couple. âIâm kind of sick of hearing about Lucy Gray. Itâs like sheâs already won.â
You fought the urge to snap, forcing yourself to stay calm. âYeah, well, if they want to crown her queen, they can. Iâm not wasting my time on it.â
âCoriolanus and Lucy Gray are all anyone can talk about,â Festus chimed in. âTheyâre just... the perfect duo. Itâs kind of sickening, actually. Theyâre all anyone talks about these days.â
You shot him a tight smile, but inside you were boiling. You wanted to shout, to scream that they were all just fawning over the wrong peopleâpeople who didnât deserve the recognition. But you held yourself back. You were better than that now. Felix was beside you, and that was more than enough.
âDonât worry about them,â Felix said softly, his voice low enough only for you to hear. âYouâre way more than theyâll ever be.â
You smiled, looking up at him. âThanks, Felix.â
You took a deep breath and excused yourself, needing to step away from the crowd for a moment. âIâm going to grab a glass of champagne. Iâll be right back.â
Felix hesitated, his eyebrows furrowing in concern. âAre you sure? I can go get it for you.â
âNo,â you replied with a small shake of your head. âIâve got it. I just need a moment to... breathe.â
Felix nodded, not pushing it, but you could see the concern in his eyes. He kissed your cheek softly. âAlright, Iâll be here.â
You were standing at the bar, your fingers tracing the rim of your glass, when you felt itâthe familiar presence behind you. You didnât need to turn around to know who it was.
Coriolanus Snow.
"You look good tonight," he said, his voice low and smooth, like he was savoring every word.
You didnât flinch, but you couldnât ignore the wave of irritation washing over you. âThanks,â you muttered, not turning to face him. âYouâre looking sharp as always.â
He chuckled, that all-too-familiar smirk tugging at his lips. âYou really think youâve got it all figured out, donât you?â He took a step closer, his presence almost suffocating.
You rolled your eyes but didnât respond. The way he looked at youâlike you were something he could control, something that belonged to himâmade your blood boil.
âI see youâre still hanging on to Felix,â he said, his voice tinged with an edge of something darker. âDoes he make you feel... safe?â
You felt your stomach tighten. "Felix is nothing like you, Coriolanus," you shot back, not bothering to hide the bitterness in your voice. âAnd you really should stop pretending to care about me.â
Coriolanus moved in even closer, his breath warm against your ear. âYou know, youâve always been so easy to read,â he whispered, his words dripping with arrogance. âYou want me. You always have.â
You spun around to face him, fury flashing in your eyes. âYouâre insane,â you hissed, pushing him back. âYou donât own me. Iâm with Felix, and you need to get that through your head.â
Coriolanus smirked, but there was something dangerous in his eyes now. âYou think he can give you what I can? Felix canât even come close. Youâre wasting your time with him.â
You gritted your teeth, fists clenching. You could feel your anger rising, but you didnât want to show him the weakness he was trying to provoke. âYouâre pathetic. You donât even know what you want, Coriolanus.â
âDonât act like you donât know what I want.â His voice dropped to a low growl, and before you could react, he grabbed your arm, pulling you toward a quieter corner of the event hall. The music and chatter became muffled as you moved into the shadows.
âYou can pretend all you want, but you belong with me,â he said, his grip tightening on your arm. âNot with him. Heâs nothing.â
You jerked your arm free, your heart pounding in your chest. âNo. I donât belong to you. Donât ever touch me like that again.â
He didnât listen. In one swift motion, he pinned you to the wall, his body so close you could feel the heat radiating off him. His face was inches from yours, and you could see the hunger in his eyes. âYou donât get it, do you?â he said, voice low and dangerous. âYouâve always been mine.â
You could feel your pulse racing, your breath coming faster, but you fought to keep your composure. âIâm not yours, Coriolanus. Iâm nobodyâs.â
His lips were on yours before you could say another word. It wasnât gentle. It wasnât tender. It was urgent and hungry, like he couldnât wait another second to have you.
Your hands clenched at his jacket, but the kiss was overpowering, consuming your thoughts, your anger, everything. You wanted to pull away. You should pull away. But his hands were everywhere, his lips demanding more.
When he finally pulled back, you gasped for breath, your chest heaving. Your eyes burned with rage as you tried to push him away, but his grip on you stayed firm.
He stepped back slightly, still smirking. âYou can pretend like youâre not into it, but I know you are.â He gave you one last look, something like possession flashing in his eyes. âNever tell anyone about this.â
Your heart was pounding in your chest, your mind reeling. âWhat the hell is wrong with you?â you spat, your voice shaking with fury. âYou think you can just kiss me and walk away like nothing happened? You donât get to do that!â
But Coriolanus didnât answer. He simply turned on his heel and walked away, leaving you standing there, breathless, furious, and completely and utterly confused.
You stood there for a long moment, your fingers trembling at your sides. You couldnât believe what had just happened. How could he just kiss you like that? How could he leave you there, like it meant nothing?
You took a deep breath, trying to steady yourself. You needed to pull it together. You werenât going to let him control you. You were done with him.
But as you made your way back to Felix, your heart was still racing. You werenât sure what to feel. You couldnât tell him what happenedâhow could you? You didnât even know what to think about it yourself.
When Felix saw you, he immediately took note of your disheveled appearance, the way your lips were slightly swollen and the fire still burning in your eyes.
âAre you okay?â he asked, his voice soft but filled with concern.
You quickly composed yourself, pushing the anger and confusion aside. You smiled tightly. âYeah. Iâm fine.â
Felix didnât look entirely convinced, but he didnât press you. He wrapped his arm around your waist, pulling you close as you rejoined the others.
But you couldnât shake the feeling that you were caught in
The rest of the night carried on smoothly, or at least thatâs how you made it seem. No one could tell anything was wrongâyouâd mastered the art of pretending to be fine. You laughed, you mingled, and not once did you falter. You didnât see Coriolanus again, but a shiver crawled down your spine every time you caught sight of someone with similar blonde hair. It was a shadow you couldnât shake, no matter how much you smiled or how much champagne you sipped.
At the end of the evening, the goodbyes were warm and polite, filled with well-wishes for the Games in two days. You and Felix left together, sliding into the sleek black car waiting outside. The low hum of the engine filled the space as the city lights blurred past the windows.
Felix sat close to you in the backseat, his hand resting loosely on his knee, but his eyes kept darting toward you. The silence stretched just long enough to feel heavy before he broke it.
âAre you really okay?â His voice was soft, but there was an edge of concern he couldnât quite hide. âYou seemed... distracted tonight.â
You glanced at him, forcing a small smile. âIâm fine. Just tired, I guess. Itâs been a long day.â
He frowned slightly, studying your face like he didnât quite believe you. âYou sure? You donât have to pretend with me, you know. If somethingâs on your mind, I want to know.â
You sighed, leaning back against the seat. âI appreciate that, Felix, but thereâs nothing to worry about. Really. Iâm okay.â
He tilted his head, his expression softening. âYou donât have to carry everything on your own, you know. Iâm here for you.â
His words made your chest tighten, but you pushed the feeling aside, flashing him a teasing smile instead. âYouâre sweet, you know that? But I promise, Iâm fine. Just needed a moment to breathe tonight, thatâs all.â
He smiled back, though his concern lingered in the way his gaze lingered on yours. âAlright. Iâll take your word for it. But if you need me, Iâm not going anywhere.â
The sincerity in his voice made your cheeks warm, and you looked away briefly, trying to focus on the passing lights outside.
âYouâre too good to me, you know,â you said quietly, your voice carrying a note of something you didnât entirely mean to let slip.
He chuckled, leaning just slightly closer. âWell, someoneâs got to keep up with you. Canât have you outshining everyone all on your own.â
You turned back to him, raising an eyebrow. âOh, I see. So this is all just self-preservation? Keeping up appearances?â
âExactly,â he said, grinning. âBut you do make it easy. Youâre kind of impossible not to be drawn to.â
His tone was light, but there was something else in his eyesâsomething deeper, more serious. The teasing smile on your lips faltered just slightly.
âWhatâs that supposed to mean?â you asked softly, your voice quieter now.
He hesitated for half a second before leaning in a little closer, his voice dropping just enough to send your heart racing. âIt means youâre incredible. And I donât think you even realize it half the time.â
Your breath caught, the words hanging heavy between you. The space in the car suddenly felt smaller, the air warmer.
And then he said it, his voice so low it was almost a whisper. âI love you.â
Your heart stuttered, your chest tightening as the words settled over you. For a moment, you didnât know what to say, your mind racing. His face was so close to yours now, his eyes searching yours for any sign of how you felt.
You didnât thinkâyou just moved, closing the gap between you and pressing your lips softly to his.
The kiss was gentle at first, tender and cautious, but then something shifted. Coriolanusâs voice echoed in your mind, the memory of his smirk, his accusations. You wanted to prove him wrong, to prove to yourself that he didnât matter. You kissed Felix harder, your hands moving to his shoulders as you pressed closer, needing to feel something real.
Felix responded immediately, his hands finding your waist and pulling you into his lap. The kiss deepened, your fingers tangling in his hair as the world outside the car disappeared. There was only the warmth of his hands on your back, the way he held you like you were the only thing that mattered.
The sound of the driver clearing his throat broke the moment, and you both froze, breathless and flushed. âWeâve arrived at your house, miss,â the driver said politely, his voice cutting through the haze.
You and Felix pulled apart, your foreheads resting together for a moment as you caught your breath. His hands lingered on your waist, and his eyes were dark, still searching yours.
You smiled softly, reaching up to gently cup his chin. Leaning in, you pressed a quick, sweet kiss to his lips, your thumb brushing over his jawline. âIâll see you tomorrow,â you said, your voice soft but steady.
Felix nodded, still looking a little dazed. âYeah... tomorrow.â
You slipped out of the car, the cool night air brushing against your skin as you walked up the steps to your house. Your lips still tingled, and your heart was still racing, but for the first time all night, you felt like you were in control.

âPapa, Iâm chasing a ghost⊠I donât know who she isâŠâ
~~~~~~
"Am I going to get in trouble?" 011 asked, her doe eyes looked at Henry with sad expression. The same way you used to when one of the children got hurt..
"No.. no why would you think that?" Henry asked in a sickly sweet voice.
~~~~~
During the 'game', it was 002 against 007, who was only 5 at the time. 002 had thrown him hard against the wall with a hard smack.
Y/n looked at the little boy with her sad doe like eyes with an equal sad worried expression. Once the session was over and all the kids went to the rainbow room.
She left to the nurses station to check on 007. She was glad to see him wake but he had bruises slowly forming. She gave 007 a sad smile.
"Look who's awake." Y/n said with a comforting smile. 007 opened his eyes again with a small smile. "I'm really glad you're okay. And I have something that i think is well deserved."
Y/n said leaning forward slightly in the chair whispering to him. 007 looked at her with a curious expression. As y/n reached into her uniform pocket holding out a piece of candy. 007 eyes widened with a smile. Before jumping up and hugging her.
"Thank you, mummy." 007 said. Y/n's expression halted as tears formed in her eyes and wrapped her arms around the little boy.
"Keep it a secret. Okay?" Y/n said, as she pulled away. 007 nodded hiding it in his sweatpants pocket. "Get some rest."
Y/n smiled as 007 nodded laying back down cuddling up next to his stuffed animal.
Y/n got up and walked over to the station getting it ready for the next shift. She closed the door wiping her tears once she got to her room evidently was the one without any cameras. Not noticing the figure that had been waiting for her.
"Why are you crying?" Henry asked concerned. Which caused y/n to jump started by the voice. She let out breathy laugh.
"You really know how to startle someone.." she said. Turning to look at him. He was right in front of her.
"What happened?" He asked/demanded, whipping away the stranded tears with his finger.
"It's nothing. I promise." She replied, Henry was not convinced but let it go. Wrapping his arms around and kissing her.
~~~~~
"You remind me of someone..." Henry said, while sitting next to 011.
011 glances at him her eyebrows furrowed with a little crinkle between her brows. The image of you came into his mind.
~~~
"I-I just don't get it.." Y/n said, eyebrows furrowed with a little crinkle between her eyebrows.
"They are so young and have so much ahead of them. But instead they are pit against each other in some sick game.. and some of them aren't even old enough to-" She looked over to see Henry looking at the ground. Y/n sighed.
"I'm sorry.. I just wish that I could help them.." y/n said , the second part barely a whisper.
Henry grabbed her arms and kissed her forehead. She laid her head down on his chest and his arms wrapped around her.
"Someday we will..." he said..
~~~
"Who?" 011 asked Henry.
"A girl I used to know. She was confused just how you are now. When she found out what papa was doing... but that story doesn't have a happy ending I'm afraid.." Henry said, his eyes drifting off sadly.
"What...what happened to her?" 011 asked hesitantly. Henry looked at her.
"How about we save that story for a different day.." Henry said, giving the confused girl a slight smile.
 And if Henry was being honest he didn't know the whole story of what happened to the woman he loved for a long time.
~~~~~
 Henry heard 011 got attacked and snuck off to the nurses station to check on her. He saw her and all he could see was you. How her face looked calm and collected yet with a hint of pain etched on to her face. So tired that she couldn't keep her eyes open. Those doe shaped eyes with the long lashes just like you..
~~~
"What happened?" Henry demanded his voice almost sinisterly yet also concerning.
 Y/n furrowed her brows slightly in pain as she sat up. Eyes drifting closed and opening. Henry grabbed her before she could fall laying her back down against him. Her head on his chest.
"That day when you saw me crying. I was with 007 i-I gave him a piece of candy and somebody heard him call me..." y/n heisted the last part.
"Call you what? What had lead to this besides you giving him candy?" Henry asked.
 Y/n sat up steadily her doe eyes drifting off. Whipping the tears that were starting to come.
"Somebody heard 007 call me mum..." She whispered.
 Henry's eyes widened slightly looking at her. He gently pulled her back so she was lying on his chest as he ran a hand up her arm comforting her. Not long as she drifted off to sleep her face calm and collected but with a slightly pained expression from the torture he had to endure not so long before he found you.
 That night Henry made a silent vow to get you out of that hell hole. And make a wish for you to come true.
 Neither of you knowing that, that wish, that want was already alive and growing.
~~~~
"Mama is dead." 011 slightly snapped at Henry.
"And who told you that?" Henry asked. His eyebrows raised with a knowing look.
"Papa!" 011 Whisper shouted. Henry gave her a knowing look. 011 eyes widened with realisation, just like you used too. "Who doesn't always tell the truth..."
~~~~
Y/n's eyes widened with realisation as she realised why she has been so tired and nauseous lately. Y/n paled at the fact she just bestowed upon.
"Hey, you okay?" Henry asked. As he noticed how pale you had gotten. Y/n nodded slightly before collapsing. Henry caught her as her eyes rolled back.
...
"You can't see her." A nurse said blocking Henry from seeing her.
 His eyes drifted to see Brenner giving him a stern look and whisper to a guard. As the guard took him away. That was the last time he saw you.
"You will be put into a secluded room and will be watched and taken care of during the 9 months and when you have the baby it will become part of the system." Brenner said sternly. Y/n nodded slightly before looking away with tears.
~~~~
"I didn't lie 011. When I talked about your mother." Brenner said. 011 looked at him confused.
"Your mother is gone. She had died not long after she had you. It's wasn't because of you.. she got sick." Brenner said. 011 realised.
"Henry said that I reminded him a woman."
"That woman was your mother... and Henry.." 011s eyes widened as she processed the information.
"No.." She whispered. Staring at Brenner in horror.
"Yes 011. Henry is your father and that wom- Y/n is your mother. They were secretly together when they were in the lab. And that is how she had you." Brenner said.
 011 swallowed hard before asking the question she's been pondering on.
"Do I look like her?"

"Heartbreak is one thing my egos another I swear you don't embarrass me motherfucker.."
~~~
"It must be so embarrassing for you dating somebody like Junior.." Bellatrix cackled.
Ever since fifth year when Y/n started seeing Barty it was always the same thing.
"It must be so embarrassing to ever date that fool!" A student said, after Barty had caused a ruckus in the great hall.
"Sis I love you. I do but.. Crouch? Really?" Sirius/Padfoot teased.
"I'm going to have to agree with Sirius on this one.. even though Barty is a good friend of mine.." Regulus Agreed with Sirius. Y/n rolled her eyes as she saw Sirius smirk.
"Wait.. you're seriously dating him?" A Ravenclaw guy who had kept trying to ask her out asked.
Has lead to this very moment, to Barty realising maybe he is an embarrassment for her and that his father was right. Just like everyone else..
"Maybe this isn't meant to be.." Barty said, his eyes and head lowered.
One thing about Bartimus Crouch Junior is as much as he acted like he didn't care. He did.. it got to him like his father has multiple times. Which makes him second doubt.
"Hey look at me." Y/n said, lifting his head. Making him look at her.
"Heartbreak is one thing my egos another. I beg you don't embarrass me... Bartimus Crouch Junior." She declared placing a soft kiss on his lips. She pulled back giving him a small smile only for him to pull her back in.
"You have a way with words black." He said, smirking. Pressing a kiss to her jaw.
"Don't I know it, Crouch." She replied. He pulled her down flipping her onto the bed as she squealed and laughed.
Chapter 15: Sejanus
Fuck
Fuck
Fuck
Pepper spray and a flashlight. That was all Dr. Gaul had given you before you left. You had asked for a gun, or at least a knife, but Dr. Gaul had shut you down. "Since you're not trained, this is safer. Remember, you're not there to do damageâyouâre there to bring your friend out as quickly and as quietly as possible."
But you didnât have time to complain.
"You idiot," you muttered under your breath. "You absolute fool."
Of course, Sejanus would rope you into something like this. And of courseâof courseâyou would drag Coryo into it too. You were surprised he had agreed. Well, you hadnât exactly given him much of a chance to refuse. If anyone else had asked him, he would have fought against it, refused to put his life on the line. He barely even considered Sejanus a friend. But deep down, in that black heart of his, you hoped he still caredâat least enough not to let you die.
Maybe another student, or even yourself a few years ago, would have protested, insisted on calling your mother or your stepfather, pleaded for help. But after the snake attack on Clemensia, the aftermath of the bombing, and Marcusâs torture, you knew it was pointless. If Dr. Gaul decided you were going into the Capitol arena, then thatâs where you were going. Even if Sejanusâs life wasnât at stake, you were just another one of Gaulâs experiments. Students and tributes alike were of no more consequence than the Avoxes in the cagesâpowerless to object. But you had known what you were getting into on your first day at the Academy. You had known the moment Dr. Gaul first shook your hand and made you an apprentice. You had signed your soul away.
You didnât know if it had been hours or minutes by the time you reached the arena. You had run the entire wayâit wasnât far, only about a mileâbut you were panting, your breath coming in sharp gasps. Your mind was a chaotic mess, thoughts scattered and incoherent. But one thing remained clear: Sejanus. You needed to get him out.
You scanned the area. Peacekeepers were stationed by the entrance, but they didnât acknowledge you, didnât stop you. You assumed they had already been informed of the situation. Still, Coryo wasnât here yet.
Your pulse pounded. Should you go in alone? You only had an hour, and the countdown had already begun the moment you left the lab. Every second wasted was a second closer to disaster.
"Fuck it," you murmured, steeling yourself to move forward.
Before you could take a step, a voice cut through the night. "What the fuck is going on?"
You turned sharply. Coryo had finally arrived, his expression twisted in anger and concern. His breath was ragged, and there was a wildness in his eyes that you werenât sure youâd ever seen before. "Why the hell did you call me here?"
"I donât have time to explain," you said quickly. "Sejanus is in the arena."
Coryo blinked. Then scoffed. "Are you kidding me?"
"I wish I was. He bribed a Peacekeeper and got in somehow. Dr. Gaul is giving us an hour to get him out before she turns the feed back on."
His face twisted in frustration. "No. Iâm not putting my life on the line for him. And Iâm sure as hell not letting you do it either."
"Coryo, we donât have time for this," you snapped. "If youâre not going in, I am. I donât give a damn if you follow me or not, but through hell or high water, Iâm getting Sejanus out of that fucking arena."
He exhaled sharply, running a hand through his hair. "Goddamn it. Fine. Letâs go."
As you approached the entrance, the damage from the bombing was stark. The main doors had taken a direct hitâone was entirely gone, leaving a jagged, gaping hole framed by twisted metal. The only security in place was a set of concrete barriers, haphazardly arranged. If Sejanus had planned this, he wouldnât have had much trouble getting in.
An old Peacekeeper standing behind the barriers caught your movement and approached. "You have a token?"
Coryo scowled. "A token?"
The Peacekeeper dug into his pocket and produced two small discs. "These are for you."
Coryo hesitated, turning the disc over in his fingers. "How did he think he was getting out?"
"I donât think he did," you muttered.
"And how the hell am I supposed to get out?"
You almost laughed. Of course, that was his concern. Selfish bastard. But you werenât surprised.
The Peacekeeper gestured toward the barricade. "Weâll pull back the barbed wire and tilt the bars forward when you return. Youâll have to crawl under, but itâll be quick."
"And if we canât convince him to come out?" Coryo asked.
The Peacekeeper shrugged. "Then you stay until the mission is accomplished."
A cold sweat broke over your skin. No way out without Sejanus.
You clenched your jaw and looked past the barricade toward the field. The tributes were supposed to be asleep, but you couldnât shake the feeling that something was waiting for you.
"Weâve got you covered up to the barricade," the Peacekeeper assured you.
"So youâll kill any tributes who try to attack us?" Coryo asked sharply.
"Scare them off, anyway."
"Excellent," you muttered, not at all reassured.
Coryo exhaled, then shoved the token into the slot. The turnstile groaned loudly, the sound far too sharp in the stillness of the night. One of the Peacekeepers chuckled as you stepped through.
You moved in silence, your only light the dim red glow of the emergency bulbs. The air was thick with dust, the ground littered with debris. Your footsteps crunched softly against the gravel.
Without thinking, your hands found each other. His grip was tight, firmâbut not painful. Just enough.
"Donât let go," he whispered. There was an edge of desperation in his voice.
You pressed your lips together, breathing steadily through your nose. Right foot, left foot. Forward. Keep moving. No one stirred. Maybe you were lucky. Maybe Lucky Flickerman had been rightâthe tributes had all gone to sleep.
You reached the barricade. Just as the Peacekeeper had said, it was flimsyâclumsy layers of barbed wire and wooden frames meant more for obscuring the view than keeping anything in or out. A stage prop. Not a real barrier.
You took a slow breath, gripping the edge of the wire. Beyond the barricade, the field stretched out before you, bathed in silver light.
And at its center, a single figure knelt in the dirt.
You hear Coriolanus take a deep breath, and he lets go of your hand as he steps onto the field.
Please donât.
You arenât going to admit it, but you think itâs reasonable to be afraid. And you are very afraid.
Please donât let me go.
You want to say it, but you keep your mouth shut and follow him slowly. You tread carefully across the dirt, knowing not to spook Sejanus but needing to get close enough to talk. When you and Coriolanus are about ten feet behind him, you stop. In a hushed voice, you call out:
"Sejanus, Itâs me."
Sejanusâ shoulders begin to shake. At first, you mistake it for sobbing, but itâs quite the opposite.
"You two really canât stop rescuing me, can you?" he says, laughter slipping through his voice.
Coriolanus exhales a quiet chuckle. "Canât do it"
"so they sent you two to fish me out. What madness."
Sejanusâ laughter trails off, and he rises to his feet. "Did you ever see a dead body?"
"A lot. During the war," Coriolanus replies.
You stay silent. "A lot" is an understatement. Youâve seen bodies being dragged, seen people put down in the streets, seen them waste away. Youâve seen what people become when you take away their food, their luxuries. Animals. much like the one who are in this cage with you
You both move in closer. It doesnât matter now, you tell yourself. No more dead bodies. No more.
"I havenât. Not this close," Sejanus says. "At funerals, I guess. And at the zoo the other night. Only those girls hadnât been dead long enough to stiffen up."
A hollow feeling creeps into your chest as he continues.
"I donât know if Iâd rather be burned or buried. Not that it matters, really."
"Well, you donât have to decide now," you say.
Your eyes sweep the field. In the shadows beyond the wallâwas that movement?
"Oh, it wonât be up to me." Sejanusâ voice is distant. "I donât know whatâs taking the tributes so long to find me. I must have been in here a while."
He finally looks at you, brows furrowing in concern.
"You two should go."
"Iâd like to," Coriolanus says carefully. "I really would. Only thereâs a matter of your ma. Sheâs waiting out front, pretty upset. I promised Iâd bring you to her."
Your eyebrows knit together. What is he talking about? When did he speak to his mother? Maybe itâs a lie to coax Sejanus out, but you doubt it will be enough.
Sejanusâ expression turns indescribably sad. "Poor Ma. She never wanted any of this, you know. Not the money, not the move, not the fancy clothes or the driver. She just wanted to stay in Two. With my father."
He pauses.
"But he isnât here, is he? No, heâll keep his distance until this is settled. Then let the buying begin."
"Buying what?" you ask.
A breeze ruffles your hair, the sound of it hollow in the vast arena.
"He bought our way here. Bought my schooling. Bought my mentorship. And he goes nuts because he canât buy me," Sejanus murmurs. "Heâll buy you, if you let him. Or at least compensate you for trying to help me."
You understand both sides. Sejanus doesnât want to be here. His mother doesnât want to be here. But you also understand his fatherâs perspective: you do what you must. Buy as many people as needed. Sacrifices have to be made.
Leaving Two behind was one of them.
"Youâre our friend. He doesnât need to pay us to help you," you say.
Sejanus places a hand on your shoulder, the other on Coriolanus. "Youâre the only reason Iâve lasted this long. I need to stop causing you two trouble. I didnât realize how bad this was for yall."
"I shouldâve traded tributes when you asked," Coriolanus mutters.
Sejanus sighs. "It doesnât matter anymore. Nothing does, really."
"Of course it matters," you snap.
Theyâre coming. You can feel itâa pack closing in.
"Come out with me."
"No. Thereâs no point," Sejanus says. "Thereâs nothing left to do but die."
Coriolanus presses him. "Thatâs it? Thatâs your only choice?"
"Itâs the only way I might possibly make a statement. Let the world see me die in protest."
You roll your eyes. "Do you really think theyâll show this? Theyâll quietly remove your body and say you died from the flu."
Sejanus falters.
"If you really want to make a difference, you have to be alive. With us."
His face clouds over. "They wonât show it, will they?"
"No," you say, your voice sharp. "Youâll be dead for nothing. And youâll have wasted your chance to make things better."
You almost scoff at the question. Why would they show it? Only an idiot would think that. You know as well as anyone that the Capitol wonât give anyone a public fuck you by showing a capitol citizen mourn a tribute's death like that. Not in a million years. They'd bury it, pretend it never happened, and move on like it was just another day in the arena. It was always about control, never about making a statement.
Coriolanus squeezes your arm. A coughâsoft and muffled but unmistakableâechoes from the stands.
"What chance?" Sejanus asks.
"You have money. Maybe not now, but one day. Money has a lot of uses. Look how it changed your world. Maybe you can change the world too. The right way," you urge. "If you donât, more kids will die. Every year."
"What makes you think I could do that?" he asks.
"Youâre the only one who had the guts to stand up to Dr. Gaul," Coriolanus says.
Sejanus hesitates. He looks tired, but something shifts in him.
"Thank you for that, Coriolanus."
Coriolanus places a hand on Sejanusâ armâhalf comfort, half restraint. "Come with us."
Sejanus stares at Marcusâ body for a long moment, then finally nods. "Youâre right. If I believe what I say, itâs my responsibility to take her down. To end this whole atrocity."
Then, realization dawns in his eyes. He looks toward the stands.
"But I wonât leave Marcus."
You want to strangle him. You open your mouth to protest, but Coriolanus acts first.
"Iâll get his feet."
He grips Marcusâ stiff, heavy legs. You circle his chest, heaving him up. The stench of blood and filth clings to the body as you start moving.
Ten yards. Five yards. Almost there.
Coriolanus stumbles on a rock, knee slamming into something sharp. He hisses but pushes forward. Almostâ
Footsteps. Quick and light, rushing toward you from behind.
Coriolanus drops Marcus and whirls around just as Bobbin lunges, knife flashing in the moonlight.
The blade slices into Coriolanusâs left upper arm. He leaps backward. He swings at Bobbin, but only encounters air. He lands on a pile of debris, old boards, and plaster as his hand searches for some kind of defense. Bobbin springs at him again, knife aimed at his face, seemingly focused only on Coriolanus and not you or Sejanus.
Coriolanusâs fingers close around a 2x4, and he brings it up, catching Bobbin in the temple hard, sending him to his knees. Then, heâs on his feet again, using the board like a club, bringing it down again and again. Blood splatters on you and Coriolanus.
âWe have to go!â Sejanus shouts, and you can hear the catcalls now, the pounding of feet down the bleachers.
Confused, Coriolanus moves away from Marcusâs body, but you grab him and yank him away.
âNo, leave him! Run!â you shout.
He doesnât seem to need any persuasion and starts running. The three of you sprint toward the barricade. When you reach it, barbed wire bites into your shirt, and you yank it free. You see themâtwo tributes from District 4: Coral and Mission, and Tanner, the slaughterhouse kidâmaking a beeline for you, armed to the teeth. Reamed draws his arm back to throw a trident. The fabric on your sleeve rips wide as you yank yourself from the barbed wire and dive out of the line of fire with Sejanus right behind you.
Only a few weak rays of moonlight penetrate the layers of the barricade. You crash into wood and fencing, like a wild animal in a cage, surely alerting any tribute who somehow missed your presence. You run, face-first, and watch as Coriolanus runs into a concrete slab, then Sejanus plows into him from behind, smacking his forehead into the unrelenting surface a second time.
Thankfully, you stop just before the tributes start making a whooping sound, rattling their weapons against the barricade as they track the three of you through the labyrinth.
âWhich direction?â Sejanus gasps, but the tributes seem to be all around you.
Coriolanus starts lagging, and you grab his arm, urging him to keep moving. He stumbles blindly behind, wounded and terrified. Something must have surged through him because he crashes into Sejanus, knocking him onto his hands and knees in front of a cloud of soft red light.
The passageway up ahead starts to take shape, and you can make out the turn, still with the peacekeepers clustered at the temporary bars. You run for your life, but the passageway isnât longâit seems interminable. Your legs rise and fall as if you're wading through waist-high glue. Black specs dot your vision, and Sejanus stays steady at Coriolanusâs elbow, but you can hear the tributes gaining. Something heavy and unyieldingâmaybe a brickâclips the side of your neck. Another object punctures whatâs left of your shirt, and you duck behind Sejanus until it falls with a clank.
Where is the cover? Whereâs the protective gunfire from the peacekeepers? Thereâs nothingânothing at all, and the bars still stand flush with the floor. You want to scream at them to kill the tributes, to shoot them dead in their tracks, but your breath is too short.
Someone heavy-footed shrinks the distance to a few yards. You donât dare look back, too terrified to waste a second.
The peacekeepers finally manage to open the unit of bars inward, achieving a gap of about 12 inches at the ground. Coriolanus dives, skinning several layers of his chin on the rough floor, but getting his hands beneath the bars where the peacekeepers latch onto him and yank him through.
Youâre next, scraping your face against the filthy surface, but you reach safety. You crumble into Coriolanus as the guards go to retrieve Sejanus, who gives a sharp cry as Tannerâs knife cuts open the back of his calf before he slides out of range. The bars are slammed into place, locked down tight, but the tributes are undeterred. Tanner and Coral jab their weapons through the bars at you, Coriolanus, and Sejanus, who are peeling back, desperate to get away.
The peacekeepers are doing nothing, banging their batons against the bars. Not a shot. Not even pepper spray. You realize they must have been under orders to leave the tributes untouched.
The peacekeepers help you and Coriolanus to your feet. Youâre angry, but you canât even muster words as Coriolanus grits his teeth, shaking with fury.
âThanks for having our backs,â he spits bitterly. The peacekeeper shrugs, indifferent.
âJust following orders. Donât blame us if Goal thinks youâre expandable,â says one of them.
Before you can respond, Coriolanus starts muttering a long string of profanities, his anger making no impression. He hangs like dead weight, barely able to stand until they drop him unceremoniously outside of the arena. You, with only a few scratches and a mild concussion, walk the entire way.
A minute later, Sejanus is dropped behind the two of you. Both Coriolanus and Sejanus lay panting on the tiles, glancing toward the front of the arena. Youâre barely standing, your hands on your knees, trying to catch your breath. You sit beside them, exhausted.
âIâm so sorry. Iâm so sorry I did this to you,â Sejanus keeps saying. âIâm sorry, Coryo. Iâm sorry, Y/n.â
Coriolanus glances at him, and for a moment, it looks like heâs going to strangle him. But instead, they just sit in silence. The peacekeepers watch, silent, unmoving. Sejanus just keeps crying, his voice cracking. âIâm sorry. Iâm sorry.â
You want to scream at him to please just shut up, but you keep your mouth shut, feeling the weight of the situation.
Then you hear the screech of tires, and you look up to see Sejanusâs mother getting out of the car, crying, frantic. She rushes over to him, tears in her eyes.
You see Sejanusâs father sitting still in the car, not bothering to get out. It makes you wonder if they called your parents. But you doubt it, and even if they did, you doubt theyâd show up.
An ambulance pulls up not long after, checking on Coriolanus, you, and Sejanus. Youâre not in bad shapeâjust a few scratches and a mild concussion. Nothing you havenât been through before. Sejanus is sitting with his mom, and then itâs just you and Coriolanus. You both sit in silence outside the arena, neither knowing what to say, not even looking at each other.
Dean Highbottom and Dr. Gaul eventually show up. Dr. Gual looks as excited as ever, while Dean Highbottom doesnât look like heâs in the mood for anything. He stands off to the side, randomly taking a shot of something.
Dr. Gaul is talking to Sejanusâs parents. You and Coriolanus exchange a look, and itâs like you both havenât looked at each other in a while. Almost like when you were kids again, scared during the war. Maybe even before that. Itâs been a while since youâve looked at each otherânot in a way of hate, or anger, or even lessâbut in a quiet moment of recognition.
Just as Coriolanus opens his mouth to speak, you hear car doors slam. You turn your head a little too fast, and your vision goes blurry again, but not so much that you canât tell who it is. Itâs Felix Ravensdale, in all his glory.
He walks toward you first, examining you like a mother would examine a child after theyâve gotten hurt. âWhat happened?â he demands, his tone pissed but also deeply concerned.
âI donât know,â you reply quickly, trying to keep the situation under control.
Felix isnât having it. âWhat happened? Are you okay? Youâre not okay, are you?â His voice shakes with worry, but underneath it, thereâs a simmering anger. âWhat the hell is going on here?â
Before you can explain, Felix turns to Dr. Gaul, his anger rising. âWhat the hell are you doing here, Felix?â Dean Highbottom says, cutting through the tension.
Felix snaps. âYou donât think I know whatâs going on? How dare you? How dare you put her out there like that? You should be ashamed of yourself!â
Dr. Gaul is standing back, watching the interaction with almost sadistic amusement.
âIâm going to tell my father about this,â Felix says, his voice cold with fury. âHeâll take care of this. He wonât let this go.â
Dean Highbottom stumbles over his words. âFelix, calm down.â
You try to calm him down too, but itâs not working. âFelix, pleaseâitâs fine,â you say, but Felix shakes his head, his anger still boiling.
âNo, itâs not fine! What if something happened to you?â he yells. His face softens for a second, but itâs fleeting.
Felix drags you back toward the car. You glance back at Coriolanus, whoâs looking at you with tired eyes. For a moment, there was somethingâsome bondâbut itâs gone now. Youâre not sure itâll come back.
The ride back is painfully quiet, except for Felixâs persistent questions.
âY/n , are you sure you're okay? You donât look okay. You sure you're alright?â
You can barely summon the energy to answer, your body aching from head to toe. The exhaustion weighs on you like a heavy blanket, and your bones are screaming for rest. You donât even want to talk, but Felix keeps pressing.
âI mean, I canât believe Dr. Gaul sent you in there like that. It was ridiculous! You couldâve gotten hurt. You couldâve died, Y/n.â His voice rises with every word, but all you can do is let him talk, feeling more and more like youâre fading into the seat.
You close your eyes, wishing the world would just stop spinning.
âIâm just so tired,â you mutter, barely a whisper.
Felix doesnât hear you, or maybe he does, but he doesnât know how to stop. He goes on, venting about how dangerous it was, how you shouldnât have been put in that situation, how it was a huge mistake. You nod every now and then, not even sure what you're agreeing to.
"I just donât understand why they do this to you..." he continues, his frustration palpable. âYouâre exhausted. Youâve been through enough already. And they put you through more for what? To save Sejanus?â
The name makes your stomach turn. You're so done with everything right now. You're done with the arena, done with being a pawn in all this. You're just so tired.
âYou know,â you murmur, more to yourself than him, âI'm just so tired. My bones hurt. I just want to sleep.â
Felix quiets down, noticing the strain in your voice. You lean against the window, closing your eyes, and for the first time in what feels like hours, you let the quiet settle over you. But then, as you start to drift, something feels off.
You sit up, blinking, confused.
âFelix...â you say, your voice slurring with exhaustion. âWhere are we going?â
Felix glances at you, his expression unreadable for a second before it shifts to something more serious. âTo my house.â
You blink again, more awake now, a sense of urgency creeping into your tone. âFelix, you can just bring me home, it's late. My parents are going to freak. Theyâll be worried.â
Felix doesnât waver. âNo, itâs fine. My parents wonât care. What matters is that youâre safe. Youâre going to stay with me tonight. I canât trust anyone else to look after you. You need to get proper medical attention.â
His words send a cold shiver through you, but you're so tired, so utterly drained, that you donât protest. If you werenât so exhausted, you mightâve said something. The way he says it, like youâre his responsibility, like he owns youâlike youâre something to be taken care of, a possessionâhits a little too close to home.
But you donât have the energy to argue. âFine,â you mutter, sinking back into your seat. âI wonât fight you.â
You let out a sigh, your mind too foggy to process it all. Whatever. Itâs been a hell of a day.
When you finally pull up to the Presidents mansion, you canât help but feel a bit of apprehension. Youâve been here a handful of times, but itâs always been for brief visits, never for a stay. The house is grand, sprawling, the kind of place where everything gleams with wealth, but right now, it all feels so distant, so unimportant compared to how heavy your limbs feel.
Felix doesnât ask; he just opens your door and helps you out, his hands gentle but insistent. You donât even argue when he lifts you into his arms, carrying you up the stairs and into his room.
His room is grand, but not in the way you expected. It's a bit more personalâsoft, warm lighting, and a massive bed that looks almost too big for just one person. The walls are lined with books, and thereâs a touch of his personality in every corner. You can tell itâs his space, and even though it's beautiful, you feel out of place here.
He sets you down on the bed, his touch lingering just a bit too long before he speaks again. âIâll have the maids run you a bath,â he says quietly, his usual flirty charm replaced by something softer. âYou need it.â
You donât protest. You just nod, your eyes barely open. The bath is exactly what you need. As soon as you slip into the warm water, you feel your body relax in a way it hasnât all day. Itâs like you could fall asleep right there.
Youâre tempted to.
When you step out, the clothes they bring you make you stifle a laugh. A pair of Felixâs pajama pants and a loose shirt. Itâs so typical, you canât help but find it funny in the only way you can right now. You know they have spare clothes, but you end up with his clothes, the ones you know he picked out for you.
You slip into them, feeling the soft fabric settle over your tired body, and when you emerge, you see Felix waiting for you, his expression unreadable.
âYouâre sleeping here tonight,â he says, a slight edge to his voice that you canât quite place.
You blink. âFelix, what are you talking about? Thereâs like a million rooms here. Why would I sleep in here?â
His gaze softens, but his stance is firm. âI want you here with me. Itâs safer. And I donât want you alone.â Heâs standing so close now, and something shifts in the air between you two, but youâre too tired to fight it.
âFine,â you murmur. âWhatever.â
You lie down, and Felix pulls the covers up around you both. He holds you close, his arms around you like you're the only thing that matters. Normally, youâd push him away, but tonight? Tonight, you donât have the strength to.
You settle into his warmth, resting your head on his chest, letting the rhythmic sound of his heartbeat lull you into a strange kind of comfort.
Felix strokes your hair lightly, his voice breaking the silence. âYou okay?â
You want to say noâyou want to say everythingâs falling apartâbut all you can muster is a tired, âYeah.â
Then, you speak again, your tone softer than before. âHow did you get in there? To the arena I mean... no one was supposed to know.â
You can feel him tense, but you stay quiet, not wanting to talk. The question lingers in the air for a long moment before Felix laughs softly. Itâs not a happy laugh, not a joyful one. More like one of disbelief.
âIâm the Presidentâs son,â he says, his voice quiet. âI make sure I know everything thatâs happening around here. Besides, you told me youâd be home safely. You didnât call, so I assumed something went wrong.â
You donât answer. You just lay there, staring at the ceiling. The weight of the day hits you all over again, and the exhaustion sets in deeper.
Felixâs voice interrupts your thoughts again, his words playful despite the situation. âYou know, you look kind of cute in my pajamas. But I think Iâm the only one who gets to see you like this.â
You barely hear him, too lost in your own tiredness. You think about how you ended up here, in his bed, at the mansion. How Felix is always looking out for you, even when you didnât ask for it.
Your mind drifts, though, and for a moment, you think back to a time not too long agoâanother bed, another room. You remember the feel of the sheets, the quiet tension in the air, and that blonde figure who made everything so... complicated. You try to push the thought away. It was a different time, a different situation, and you donât want to deal with it now.
But as you close your eyes, you canât help it. In the dark of your mind, Coriolanusâs eyes flash before you, his gaze cold, intense, and knowing. The memory lingers like an unwanted ghost, and you squeeze your eyes shut tighter, trying to push it out of your head.
You donât want to think about him. Not now.
But as sleep begins to take you, his eyes are still there, haunting the back of your mind.
When I realise I have read all of the Peter Ballard x reader stories
Some Ideas/Requests I had for Coriolanus snow! (Any one can make these because Iâm not good at writing plus Iâd prefer someone elseâŠhehe) also all female reader!!
1. Coriolanus snow x fem reader: During the hunger games you and Lucy come across careers and during the amidst of fighting trying to fight them off the reader sacrifice herself to save Lucy, not only leaving behind her best friend (Lucy) but also leaving behind her love (Coriolanus)
2. Jealous Coriolanus x fem reader: where the reader and Coriolanus used to have a fling but they ended it. (You can decide the reason) and the reader ends up with one of finnick odairs ancestors and Coriolanus gets jealous (and if you do smut you can make it into smut.
3. Peacekeeper Coriolanus snow x fem reader: The night Lucy performs the reader also performs and is just as good with the guitar and has a very captivating singing voice. Which makes Coriolanus awestruck/starts falling for her.
4. Jealous Coriolanus Snow x fem reader: the reader and Coriolanus are good friends for a while and maybe heâs had feelings/has been slightly pinning after her, both of them are mentors and the reader gets a very nice hot guy as her tribute and they become attracted to each other and coryo gets jealous
5. Coriolanus snow x reader: the reader was a tribute not that long before the 10th hunger games but during her games she had unknowingly did something that the capital did not approve of and she gets reaped back into the games but she doesnât get a mentor because of the capital/peacekeepers doing the dirty work themselves they decided to put her back into the games and instead of snow falling for Lucy gray (his tribute) he falls for the reader. And during the games Lucy asks the reader what happened to her and she tells Lucy that after the games they had killed her family and sold her (like what happened to finnick & Johanna! If not comfortable yâall can leave that part out or come up with something else)
6. Coriolanus snow x fem reader: itâs when the attacks happen the reader gets hit and becomes unconscious but instead of snow looking for her (his gf?) he more worried about Lucy gray and he doesnât realize that the reader is their next to him in the wing until after he knows Lucy is okay. Maybe the reader is in a very bad condition and had to undergo a surgery.
7. Coriolanus Snow x fem reader: where sheâs in the games and she sings safe and sound by Taylor Swift to her fellow tribute, while their dying (like how katniss did with rue) and snow is just in awe and canât take his eyes off the screen. (Maybe you were part of the capital and was thrown into the games because of your family?Âż)
(I have more but all that I can think of rn!)
