Stickam is one of the most popular video chatting websites on the internet, and believe it or not, you can find yourself 'on the air' with them in less than a minute. Something to keep in mind is that Stickam recommends the following computer specs if you are to effectively participate in any chat or broadcast:
-Intel Core 2 Duo or Equivalent (They may have forgotten or omitted the existence of the AMD processor)
-1 GB or Ram or More
-Internet connection with 500 mbps minimum upload speed
-Webcam or other video camera
Once you have created your stream, you can determine whether or not you want everyone on Stickam to be able to see you. You can select this option, or you can allow your Stickam friends to see you exclusively. Another thing to note is that when you first go live on Stickam you will be using the web-based Flash application. Using Flash will allow more users to see you of course as their computers will be more compatible with your stream. This however is optional, and you can change it. There are a number of desktop RTMP clients available, among them being the Flash Media Live Encoder, a download that you can obtain from the Adobe website. This among others will allow you to broadcast in near-HD quality, and if you are running a web show of any type, then you will certainly want to provide your users with the highest quality possible. Broadcasting isn't the only thing you can do with Stickam. You can also join a video chat, or you could even play 'Stick Shuffle' Stickam Shuffle allows you to connect to random people from all over the world one at a time. If you find someone you like, you can award them with a star, or you can throw tomatoes at them. Either way, your actions will allow you to earn points and move up the scoreboard! If you're more interested in choosing who you communicate with, you can check the 'whose live' page, or you could even look at the front page to see what's being featured. There are plenty of options on Stickam, and you will find similar features across other websites as you go along. That being said, now would be a great time for you to head over to Stickam and see what's being offered in the way of live streams, featured streams, and of course your own broadcasting needs. It won't be long before you're showing your face to the world with pride and having the time of your life. Are you ready for it? Stickam certainly is, along with many other video conferencing sites on the internet.

Just about every country has establishments for higher education. Not all of these Universities, Colleges, or educational centers have fees or costs associated with them including PC Pro Schools. However, when they do this is called tuition. While study in the United States, Great Britain, and Australia all produce great options for your future, they all have the issue with very high tuition costs. But what exactly is college tuition? In the strict sense, it is not the associated expenses with college, like off campus housing, personal expenses, and books and supplies. Tuition usually is the fee that is paid to the college per semester based on a number of credits being taken. These fees can include on-campus dorm styled accommodations. In all cases, one that pays tuition is buying the right to attend certain classes and to receive instruction in topics that will enable them to complete a degree. College tuition helps the institutions of higher education pay for staff, faculty, equipment for sports, lab work, and technology upgrades in addition to license fees for programs, books and educational materials for the libraries, and whatever building and campus maintenance is required. In exchange for covering these costs, the student receives instruction on whatever course of study they desire from others who are degree holders themselves. Being that it is just one factor in the overall cost of attending college, it would be difficult to overlook other expenses. College life is one that requires students to limit their work time to twenty hours should they choose to attend classes full time. Paying for tuition then becomes the task of those who know the student, usually the parents. On occasion however, the student themselves must chose to work and pay those fees on their own. There are steps that will be detailed in another post on how these fees can be covered to allow students and their parents to afford the college of their choice. There are many reasons to pay tuition and strive for a higher education. In some cases private basic education will have tuition too, but most developed countries have basic schooling covered by general taxes (and all individuals under a specific age must attend such schools) while higher education has a tuition charge. Some reasons that are most frequent for attending a college or university include improving grades in general, such as one might find with adult education classes, special needs, for instances where an individual requires special training to do everyday things, attending a chosen school, university or college, or taking special training courses in a corporate setting. College tuition is not a new thing; however, it is more exacting today than it has been historically. The first universities were institutions of the Roman Catholic Church and the students were those seeking clergy posts. Because of this and the fact that many third sons of the nobility were sent to them, these universities did not charge tuition. Examples of this type of university can still be seen in how corporate universities and military academies are funded. In later times, the role of the University change from clergy to training civil servants. These also were geared to the nobility, and as such, they survived on donations from families made out of generosity. Tuition, when it did finally become standard in the middle of the 19th century, was initially designed to limit the numbers of middle class attending University not to pay for the upkeep of the school itself. World War II changed the College landscape. With the introduction of the G.I. Bill and the expansion of the afford-ability of college to include the working class, Colleges began to apply the moneys for fees to cover their costs. Working class youth equipped with degrees quickly rose to middle class. The table was set then for the modern system of student loans, grants, scholarships, and the like to cover tuition costs - the same costs that go to maintain colleges with the increased wear and tear that having larger numbers attending creates. College tuition then is the fees charged by universities and colleges. The initial goal of those fees was to limit enrollment to those who had leisure time to devote to acquisition of a higher education. Since World War II, these same fees have been applied to the upkeep of the colleges and universities who charge them. These fees, called Tuition, are paid by the student as they attend the institution that will issue them a diploma upon completion of the program.
