Random Poll: How do you prefer to use Tumblr?

I've been throwing together random fits like this lately. No idea how many fashion rules I'm breaking in the process, but it's fun. Sometimes if the pics are the right angles, I also dress up a "mannequin" sketch in PowerPoint just to see how the dress, shoes, jewelry, etc. would look if I was wearing them. It's kinda like virtual paper dolls lol.

Results for my poll on Tumblr browsing preferences!

Here's a refresher of the poll. I asked everyone how they prefer to use Tumblr. Many thanks to the 95 awesome people who participated!

(Puts on technical writer's cap) I used glittering.world's Tumblr poll result grabber to get the exact numbers for each option. Since no one selected the last option, I excluded it from my analysis. I popped the results into Excel and made this pretty table and pie chart.

It's not too surprising to see that over half of the participants use the Tumblr app on their phones. Laptop users and phone users who browse Tumblr on their device browser have the second and third biggest numbers.

Here are two more breakdowns of the data! The next pie chart shows the number and percentage of people who use each device listed in the poll.

In case they're difficult to read, the numbers in the pie chart are listed as "Number, Percentage". As we've seen before, phones are very popular!

The last pie chart shows the number/percentage of Tumblr users who use the app (the most popular preference!) vs. a browser.

On an unrelated note, this poll was a great excuse to go aggressively girly with the color and styling of these charts! It was something I had always wanted to do for my college lab reports but ended up toning down to not shock anyone.😅

I watch Crimson Peak for the plot

The plot:

Thomas' project reminds me so much of real life engineering. It's a brilliant invention with a shoestring budget. He also struggles to get (honest) funding for it, and therefore, his project's most likely understaffed, over schedule, and over budget.

And of course the machine experiences a huge component failure when he finally gets it running because stuff usually never works right the first time in engineering. Then the project has to be scrubbed in the end, namely because Lucille got stabby (but that's another story).

I guess dragon eggs aren’t only found in Alagaësia.

I can just see the hatchling. She might bond with someone from the first crew of astronauts who reaches the nebula if she doesn’t remain as a wild dragon. Since the picture is a false color image to show the nebula’s characteristics, our space hatchling wouldn't be pink but likely have bright white, glistening scales. Her temperament might be bold, wild, unpredictable, and even destructive at times like the cosmic forces she was born within. However, she would be steadfast and loyal like the enduring light of nebulae.
