I'll let you decide which is which. I was originally going to start off with a canon HA! ship image, but I really wanted to draw Debora. So you get her and the rare character of Edmund made. I kind of like the hairstyle I've given 16-year-old Edmund, it almost makes him semi-decent looking. However, it could be just because I chose him to do him in a side profile and not do his less than appealing 3/4 angle. I'm being too mean to Edmund though. There are worse looking fifth graders than Edmund, at least in my opinion. Anyway, here's some context for this image. So basically it's a day or two after their first introduction to each other. In between that time Debby has convinced herself that Edmund didn't really mean it when he said he'll see her later or something along the lines of that. She assumed that he was saying the thing everybody says but doesn't really mean and Edmund won't ever pay her any mind ever again. On one hand, it saddened her, but on the other hand, she figured it was probably for the best because at least she didn't have the pressure of keeping a friendship that barely started. low and behold on Monday, Edmund doesn't waste his time on going up to casually say hi to his new friend. At that instant, Debora is a flurry of mixed emotions. Mostly it's internal screaming and contemplating whether to lock herself in the bathroom before she does or says something stupid. Unfortunately, it's too late for she already performed her world famous, super forced, obviously fake smile in her attempt to act "normal". The poor boy has no idea what he has gotten himself into. Created this for CallMeNettie's story, "As Time Goes By". Debora is going on a camping trip starting chapter 45 and I wanted to create what I imagine she would wear during the trip. I included a bit of Edmund too to show a bit of his adult form.

Edmund is certainly the type to go sleeveless to show off his pecks during a camping trip. Debora on the other hand wants to show the least skin as possible while still not being completely hot over it. Gotta be prepared for bugs somehow.

This is such a loaded question. I listen to so many songs, it's so hard to pick 5 out of hundreds I have saved. Ya know what, I'm already going to break the rules by not tagging anybody, so I'll just pick songs that fit my Hey Arnold oc, Debora or the Debmund ship (at least the version that's in my spinoff of CallMeNettie's Hey Arnold fan fic series). It's been a while since I did anything with her and I want to remedy that. It's going to alienate my new Bob's Burgers followers but oh well. Debora is an anxious, sad character so yeah, a lot of songs to reflect that. The story does have happy moments and a happy ending though. XD

Hey Arnold Headcanon

Around the time Arnold is 11-12 Miles and Stella decides to adopt a parentless infant from the Green Eyed people. They name the child Phillipe Arnaldo Shortman. This would make a nice setup to parallel Helga and Olga’s relationship. Arnold would enjoy being an older brother, but because of the big age gap as Phillipe grows older, they start to drift apart. Arnold would come to Helga (and Gerald but Helga would better understand the specific situation better because of the age) for advice on how to be a better older brother to Phillipe and Helga and Phillipe would bond about their annoyance of their “perfect older siblings”. Helga and Phillipe’s will eventually have a sibling-like bond that she could really use while Arnold is away for college in a different state.
