Theatre Overlords (Both Current & Puppetified), plus a few extras!
I was gonna wait until I draw/redraw all of them, but it’s gonna take some time, so I’ll just put a list of the sinners/hellborns that are working or have worked in the SA Theatre. I don’t have names yet for the Puppetified characters yet, but I’m gonna list what they did at the SA Theatre, when and how they died, and some facts about them when they were alive.
BTW: When I say “Puppetified”, they’re not dead but more like in a deep sleep, unaware of time.
Current Overlords of the SA Theatre:
Thee Puppeteer
1. Born & Died in Qing Dynasty China

3. Cause of Death: Lingchi
4. Founder of the Strings-Attached Theatre
5. He/She/They/It
6. When alive, they had a deep hatred for nobility, gentry, & “good” commoners (they were considered a “mean” commoner).
7. They created strings made from “Angel’s Iron” that they use to control & “punish” the residents of the SA Theatre.
Zelyezda

3. Cause of Death: Hanging (Suicide)
4. Lead Ballet Performer of the Strings-Attached Theatre
5. She/Her
6. When alive, she was a cruel ballet teacher that caused a lot of self-doubt & low self-esteem in her students.
7. She became an adoptive mother to Walle & is in a co-parent relationship with Stragedys.
Madame Fuocella
1. Born & Died in Italy

3. Cause of Death: Burned Alive
4. Prima Donna of the Strings-Attached Theatre

6. When alive, she was very narcissistic & had a severe case of Princess Syndrome, until she got married & had a daughter.
7. Her voice is almost hypnotic, luring the sinners to the SA Theatre.

6. When alive, they were an orchestra conductor that overworked their instrumentalists to the point of illness or even heart failure.
7. They are mute, but can “talk” via telepathy.
Missy Burlappe

4. After being abandoned by her owners, she became friends with Ezak & followed him to the SA Theatre.

4. She was captured by Thee Puppeteer, who then uses her blood to make “Angel’s Iron”; she is also used as bait to lure other Exorcists into the SA Theatre.

Stragedys: The Seer of Tragedy
Stragedys is the Overlord over the Playwright industry, specifically as a director and writer, and is part of the Theatre Overlords lead by The Puppeteer.
He grew up on a small farm in Doxato, Greece during the late 19th century. During this time, Greece was poor and close to bankruptcy, however, he was a positive face amongst the townspeople.
He was a hard-worker and always lent out a helping hand to those around him. But as much as he liked working, he found great comfort in the words of stories. After he paid the necessities, he would use whatever he had left to gather stories of all kinds and make his own personal makeshift library. However, as the country grew poorer and his allowance grew less, he started to write his own stories to fulfill his dream.
His uncle, who saw his creativity in his stories, was a shipowner and offered to take him on adventures to help inspire him for his stories. However, during one of these adventures, there was a great storm causing both the uncle and the ship to sink to the bottom of the sea. Stragedys was the sole survivor and constantly blames himself for this tragedy. He stopped writing and drowned himself in work and chores.
Then in the early 1910s, the Balkan Wars erupted. He entered these wars willingly, giving all his energy and releasing all his anger on the opponent’s soldiers. He was fierce but reckless; his family pleaded with him to stop and think, but he ignored them. He survived the 1st Balkan War, but wasn’t so lucky during the 2nd Balkan War.
When charging, he got shot several times before being shot in eye, and eventually bleeding out on the field.
After arriving in Hell, he was immediately greeted by The Puppeteer, who has read his stories and watched his struggle during his past life. The Puppeteer offered him a deal, they would bring back the passion he once had for writing, give him dreams and nightmares to inspire new stories for him to write, the ability to create emotion manifestation plays from these stories, the power to turn any of the souls he owns into natural actors for said plays. However, in exchange, his soul is owned by the Puppeteer, having to follow their command when needed. Longing for the days of his stories, and the thought of turning these stories into moving plays, he accepted The Puppeteer’s deal.
He’s definitely more social and outgoing than the other Overlords, much like how he was when he was alive. He tries to get along with everyone, being polite and respectful even towards the rudest individual, but he views The Puppeteer as a god of some sort, praising him for the gifts they bestowed onto them. After the Puppeteer invited Charlie and the gang to watch one of their performances, he met with Charlie and immediately started to flatter her, trying to get her praise for his plays. Even after learning about the Hazbin Hotel, and what Charlie is trying to accomplish at said hotel, he only cares about what goes on at the Theater. He both deeply admires and fears The Puppeteer, doing anything and everything to gain their approval.
Design
His name “Stragedys” is a combination of the Greek word for “Soldier” and Tragedy.
She is around 8ft 5in tall, making him slightly taller than Angel Dust, who’s around 8ft 2in.
He’s a cyclops for a few reasons:
Cyclops are from Greek Mythology.
He lost one of his eyes during the war.
Clyclops are described to be violent and not the brightest, which fits how Stragedys was towards the end of his life.
Regarding the colors, I decided to do more seaweed colors mainly to represent the incident that lost his uncle and his general motivation to write.
He has marks that look like shot wounds on his head, neck, and torso to represent how he died.
The cuffs around his ankles, wrists, and neck act as “shackles” due to being under The Puppeteer’s control.
His eye is actually detachable, and can be used had a weapon. When it pops out, it turns to stone and can be used as a chained wrecking ball.

Even though Miriam is most likely gonna be a side/background character or a one off sort of character, she is one of my favorites. I hope she radiates “sassy gremlin” & “I’m the main villain of this story” sort of vibe. I’m debating on if I should make her shorter or not. She’s currently around 4’6”, but I think it would be funny to give Ink some competition.

I didn’t have a lot of ideas for Century, just that I wanted him to look similar to Neue & Avenir.
However, Vani & Sabon were a bit easier since I already had ideas for their clothing. I was trying to give Vani & Sabon almost Chara & Flowey vibes with their outfits.

One of Mati’s Favorites
I’m gonna be “Mati-fying” some more characters from the show.
I’m obviously gonna be doing the Pines (Should I do Dipper first or Stanford first), but I’ll do a few others as well (probably Gideon, Soos, Wendy, and of course our favorite demonic acute angled fiend: Bill).
Anyway, here is the Mati’s impersonation of Stanley:
Now I’ll probably need to explain a bit more regarding the limitations of Mati’s impersonation ability.
1. While Mati can impersonate hand-held objects/prop, it would be made from Mati’s body, meaning Mati can’t “let go” of said impersonating object, the same goes for accessories (hats, jewelry, gloves, etc.) Mati prefers not to impersonate these types of objects while impersonating due to the reasons stated above.
2. While impersonating an individual with glasses, Mati is unable to replicate glass from Mati’s body, resulting in the frames being empty.
3. Mati has certain impersonations that Mati will use for specific situations, but specifically ones that can “fight”, and will often replicate any weapons that the real individual has used (hence why Mati’s Stanley has brass knuckles).
4. If there’s an eye feature/design on the individual’s clothing/accessories, Mati will replicate the eye design has an actual eye, meaning Mati can see through that eye as well.
5. Mati can combine the features of a few individuals (it’s easier if the individuals have similar features to each other), or different ages/phases of a single individual (ex: combining the features of Stanley pre-portal and post-portal).

Slight Walle Redesign
Now that I got the basic idea of what the Theatre Overlords will look like, I’m gonna be doing a redraw/redesign for fix proportions, colors, and make changes in overall design.
First we have Walle, the Artist Overlord.
I used Niffty and Millie as reference for drawing the body and colors.
I shortened the length of the limbs, torso, and “horns”, I also enlarged the head. I decided to make the veins on the arm less complicated for easy reference.
I decided to add small lashes to his eye, and added bug wings since he’s based off a stag beetle.
I also adjusted/changed the colors so that they are less faded and more bright like in the show.
Only 4 will be safe.
Their fates are in your hands.
Chose wisely.
