I wanted to say your art looks really nice! I wanted to know what your inspirations were when you developed your art style?

I mostly just noodle around! I usually try to draw in a bunch of different ways but if I run into a problem to solve with a certain style I usually look for someone drawing like that as reference! I used some of Hisashi Eguchi's work as reference for like how to think about outlined shadows and stuff for example. But like only started looking more at his stuff after I realized I could work a lot faster if I draw outlines for shadows first if that makes sense!

Tho I generally really love Chris Riddell's, Izumi Kanae's and Aketara Sirome's work a lot!!! They've all got so much character to their drawings! Riddell I've been a fan of since I was a kid and the other two I've been following for a few years. They're prob the ones that jump out the most!

my order from @downtownhipcheck arrived!!! ahhh they're amazing and I love them!! I'm crazy and don't read item descriptions super clearly when I see art I like so I did not realize how BIG and beautiful the sticker sheets would be. A photo including my hand holding a sheet for scale is under the cut.
