Hey arcane fandom, I was already wary of y’all because of the way you treat some the characters but hearing someone made a serial killer au with Jayce and Viktor defiling black bodies (most being woman) and such is actually disgusting.

Im not saying everyone but just the ones I’m pointing to. It’s worst kowning it was one of my own that wrote that but it’s still weird to note some probably still read it with no issue.

Yes it was a month ago or so but it still bothered me.

I see a lot of this stuff on Tumblr here too and I want to say this

It’s the history that makes it distasteful, knowing black people have been done horrible throughout the years. Eaten, skinned to use as objects , raped , beaten , isolated, force sterilized, killed for fun mind you! And so much more.

I can’t word it how I wish but it’s just the matter of how you write that’ll cause problems. Yes I get it killers , murders , and bad guys are evil but writing it as more of a quirk than actually them being racist is insensitive.

I’m not saying to go out be like “this is Mortan gaver and hes racist that’s it’s tehe” , I mean what else can I say? It’s lazy. Racist don’t need explaining at all but leaving at that will make me question you even more if you try to explain WHY their like that.

(((Yes racism can be taught and such but I’m saying writers explaining it like it’s an excuse is the problem))

BIOGRAPHY

Born in Vientiane, Laos. Living the first 15 years of her life off her uncle's fortune, partaking in the trafficking of illicit narcotics at a young age. The two were close due to them being family, not having many friends due to her uncle's line of work.

Enlisted in the LPAF by her Uncle's wishes to "Carve a better path for herself". Was not liked by her peers for her cocky attitude, overly aggressive tactics, and habit of prioritizing her personal safety over the team.

After 3 years of service in the LPAF, excelling in Close Quarters Combat, dishonorably discharged due to repeated physical altercations among teammates. Spent the next 6 months back to working for Kapano Vang despite his reluctance, eventually fleeing to Urzikstan after an argument with Vang about difference in beliefs, multiple people injured; their relationship has been strained ever since.

During her time her path crossed with Nikolai, in search of work she signed a long term contract with Chimera, with one year of service.

Shown to exhibit signs of social anxiety and difficulty forming close relationships around people her age. Inherited Kapano Vang's short temper in combat, though more relaxed outside of it.

Developed a bond with Syd, seeing her as an older sister. Often paired up with Sebastian Krueger in order to keep them both in line.

Nak is an extroverted introvert, she likes and enjoys talking to people, however it drains her energy quickly since she's not used to talking to people in such a casual manner. Things like talking business she’s more used to.

A quick thinker, Nak is able to carry out missions by finding creative solutions to make sure her operations are successful. Outside of the battlefield her adaptability allows her to have better communication with people, even with her social anxiety.

Pragmatic

Nak strives to make the most effective solutions so it’s easier on her in the future. Her decision making skills ensure that she’ll survive in the field and outside of it.

Responsible

Living on her own, Nak is responsible, she can’t relax unless all her work is done beforehand. As she starts forming close relationships with people, she realizes that she likes taking care of people.

Negative Traits

Stubborn

Starting out Nak isn’t a very good teamplayer. She doesn’t like others telling her what to do or how to do things so she’s stubborn in a way that she’s adamant about what she wants but adaptable with what methods are needed.

Judgemental

Her formative years with Naga didn’t allow her to trust people, because of the Golden Triangle Cartel she has a habit of being overly critical of others.

Nak is self-demanding, she doesn’t take failure lightly. This leads to her paranoia of not being properly prepared. She becomes aggressive out of frustration if her ability isn’t to her liking.

TRIVIA

Nak is a shortened version of “phayanak” the mythical water serpent in Laos, it’s also the Lao pronunciation of “Naga” which is her Uncle’s name in the field.

Her face paint draws reference to how snake teeth are shown in Phayanak statues. There are multiple snake motifs in her design. Is the design practical? No, she just likes standing out in that way.

Nak cuts her own bangs (long blunt bangs) she doesn’t trust anyone with cutting them.

Has a lot of upper body and lower body strength; she can lift things heavier than her and calisthenics skills (handstands, full planches, etc.)

Often, most people's First impressions of her is that she's "Unsettling."

Transformer x human isn’t that bad , aslong the human is a consenting adult it’s literally fine. Y’all just wanna complain about this topic till it’s ash (transformer forum users and old members try to let the topic go challenge impossible, I’m so happy the newer fans are chill) because do I have to bring up to fact some of the characters ages vary because it’s different from ours. Like earthspark bumblebee would be technically in his 20s or early 30s for a cybertronian.

Don’t get me wrong I love cybertronian x cbertronain , I get it if the human stuff is boring and isn’t your cup a tea. I can get it but bashing people about it isn’t cool man. This fandom was literally made by robo-lovers. Which has been acknowledged by the creators as we’ve seen in from g1 to the comics!! Platonically and romantic.

Kindly block me if you act like your opinion needs to be shoved down people’s throats, I don’t want you near me. Like I will understand you and your opinion fully but I hate people complaining and throwing tantrums to try to convince others.

Honestly? A week. It would've been shorter if they went official off the bat.

Nak didn't know how to respond to romantic affection. Her confusion with where they stood on their relationship (at the time unlabeled) was also a factor. Krueger is more laid back, he just did whatever felt right, and wanted to prioritize just having her comfortable with him in that way. (Idk if that makes sense)

They're more comfortable around each other now than they are when they started going out.

Nak? None. Krueger's her only relationship experience LMAO what a loser /j . She didn't really have crushes or interest in anyone but herself back in Laos. The couples she saw around during her time in the LPAF gave her insight in how a good and bad relationship is supposed to be (basically living vicariously lol). So when she started being in a relationship with Krueger, she mimicked what she saw in the past before she found her own pace.

Krueger has had a few relationships in the past, but mostly preferred to stay single for longer periods of time. He didn't like how people would change the moment there was romantic feelings involved, and expectations of just having to be "the stoic mysterious lover thats closed off" irked him. With Phayvanh he didn't want that; he wants to be able to be silly around her in the way they usually are, she's one of his best friends. Luckily it came easy with her, their pace was similar in practice :3

If Nak has a broken arm, Krueger ties her hair up for her, sometimes he switches up the ponytail to have it be braids or a half up half down type of thing. (It takes everything in him to not give her the most atrocious hairstyle)
