This reminds me of how photogrammetry software sometimes includes chunks of the sky or foliage in the picture and maps the texture of the object you wanted to capture onto those extra things, I've never seen pixel art (or really any other art) that captures that effect and it's blowing my mind

A quick badge design I did to celebrate the successful return of samples from asteroid Bennu, and the beginning of the OSIRIS-APEX mission!

For context, after OSIRIS-REx dropped the samples off, it was renamed and has now begun a new mission to explore a new hazardous asteroid, the infamous asteroid Apophis!

This badge celebrates the shift from investigating the ways asteroids may seed life, to how they can threaten it.

Washington State folks: remember to vote no on all of the voter initiatives, they're all trash!

They'll cut billions from a strained education system, kill programs like free youth transit passes, and dismantle the state long term health care system.
