how “feminists” look at me when I say that feminism shouldn’t be centered around how many female CEOs exist because that’s a capitalist value and capitalism directly benefits from the oppression of women.

OF reinforces that women and our bodies can be bought for a couple of dollars a month.

how “feminists” look at me when I say that even though all women have a right to decide what they want doesn’t mean that some of those choices aren’t influenced by misogyny.

how “feminists” look at me when I say no, I will in fact not support or respect any religions that believe women are sinful and an inferior gender just because they were born as women.

how “feminists” look at me when I say that only feeling empowered when you’re in full glam and conforming to beauty standards you are in fact not empowered but instead cowering under the pressure and expectations put on you.

how “feminists” look at me when I say that using Afghan womens’ oppression and dehumanization as study motivation isn’t as cute as they think.

how “feminists” look at me when I say that it’s useless to only complain about “pick me girls” instead of recognizing why they act that way (the pressure to get male validation)
