Fan Fiction is a Catch 22

As a fan fiction writer, I’ve been told that my fandom is dying because no one is writing more fan fictions, or not finishing the ones that have been posted. I’ve also been told that people want to wait until a story is completed before they will leave a review.

To those readers who wait until the story is completed, that’s great, but sometimes all it takes is a little encouragement midway for an author to complete a story. Maybe some of those authors gave up because no one was commenting, so they figured no one liked the story, so why bother finishing it?

If the readers want the fandom to continue, maybe they should show a little more support to the writers who are trying to keep it alive. All it takes is just a few words;

Thank you for writing this

This made me cry

This made me laugh

You’re doing a good job

Fan Fiction is a give and take, but if the writers and the readers give each other what we all need, we can revive this fandom.

Paradoxe du changement

Il y a des jours comme ça où la routine demeure. Il y a comme un vide qui nous transperce et nous plonge dans l'ennui.

Dans ces moments-là, il n'y a pas de mystère. C'est tout simplement le fait d'avoir une vie bien rangée, bien organisée et voir que ta vie défilé calmement telle une rivière calme et paisible.

C'est dans ces moments-là que tu aimerais changer quelque chose, où du moins vivre différemment, peut-être plus sauvagement mais tu sais très bien que tu ne peux pas. Après tout tu restes un être prospère ne voulant pas voir trop de changement dans son univers.
