One of the first times my wife really flirted, danced and kissed another man happened while we were at a concert and involved a fair bit of alcohol. The next morning she was embarrassed about the way she had acted, but I kept reassuring her that it was all ok and as far as I was concerned she had not done anything wrong. I told her I loved her "fun" girl side. I still remember the way she looked at me and said "really, you do"? This was early in our marriage and she did not begin cuckolding me until many years later. Over the years I consistantly reassured her whenever she let her "fun girl" side come out to play. I suspect most wives are like mine and need lots of encouragement and reassurance to make them comfortable letting their "fun girl" side come out to play.

You wish you were better able to satisfy her sexually – but you can’t, so she’s right about the fact that you do feel some degree of relief that she now has someone else to fulfill those needs for her.

In some ways, it's quite convenient for your wife's boyfriend to be living so close. It means that she can drop by his place easily whenever they're in the mood for sex -- or he can drop by your house, whichever is easiest at the moment. And you and he have become pretty good friends, now that you see quite a lot of each other. But it also means that everyone in the neighborhood knows about their relationship -- and know that when there are neighborhood events of any kind, she is very likely to attend as part of a "couple" with him instead of with you.
