You weren't sure how to react to this news. Your wife had told you about the guy at her gym who was flirting with her almost every day, but you thought that the flirting had stopped when she told him she was married. But apparently that didn't stop him at all.

And you couldn't believe how casual and direct your wife was being about this. You asked her if she couldn't simply break the date and go with you tonight, but she said no -- she didn't want to hurt her date's feelings, and that anyway, she WANTED to go out with him. And when you then asked if she planned to have sex with him, she just laughed and said "I certainly hope so."

Seeing how hurt you then looked, she had given you a kiss and said that you shouldn't feel so bad about the fact that you would soon be a cuckold, because LOTS of her friends cuckolded THEIR husbands quite regularly. In fact (she said), she was actually a bit embarrassed that she hadn't cuckolded you earlier than tonight.

That evening, and night, all you could do was to think about her -- and about what she and her date were probably doing. You tossed and turned in bed all night, as intense feelings of jealousy, and shame, and rejection swept over you. Several times you came close to trying to call her, but you knew that if you did that she would be very displeased with you, and so you resisted that temptation.

When your wife finally got home -- at about noon time the day after her date -- you had expected her to be at least a little contrite, but that was not how she acted at all. Instead, she was obviously feeling VERY happy with how the date had gone, and all that she said to you about it was that the two of them had gotten along amazingly well, that the sex was better than it had ever been with you, and that she had another date with him that night.
