How would he react to MC being the child of a slasher? I recently watched the semi-new scream movie and the slasher has a child????

I guess it would depend on how the player felt about it. Lowell already has a kill count, and it's not gonna be easy to bother him with stuff like that, so from an emotional perspective he doesn't really mind.

If the player was neutral/positive about it he'd probably be a little more willing to talk about some of the things he's done and how far he's willing to go to keep you safe and all for him.

If the player was actively resentful of it, he'd try a lot harder to keep the evidence of what he's done away from you, but he's a pack rat so he'd have a hard time actually getting rid of anything.

I don't think I've posted this yet, a little drabble for @darlingdollhousevn ! It's very short, but I just wanted to write something fluffy and cute for Lowell based off an ask I sent a while ago <3

"Stay still, Doll~"

You tried not to squirm, suppressing a giggle as the ticklish feeling of the makeup brush swept across your cheeks. You'd been doing pretty well to stay still until now, but the urge to fidget was getting stronger and stronger.

Luckily that was the end of it, as Lowell sprayed some setting spray across your face you couldn't help but be relieved. If you'd had to sit still any longer you'd have went crazy for sure!

"And done!" Lowell held up a handheld mirror for you to look at yourself. "Waddya think?~"

You took the mirror, inspecting your makeup with a smile. "Hmm... I like it!" You said with a nod. "I've never tried a full face of makeup like this. It's interesting to see!" You batted your eyes to get a better look at the eyeshadow. "Ooh, the eyeshadow is super pretty!"

"Right?!" Lowell exclaimed excitedly. "That's my favorite part!" He seemed pleased at your praise, beaming as he took the mirror from you.

"So?" You asked expectantly, looking at him with a smile. "Don't I get a reward for sitting still so long?"

Lowell chuckled. "Of course!" He opened his arms wide, scooping you into a hug, being careful not to mess up the makeup he'd just applied.

You squeaked, laughing as you looped your arms around his neck as he spun you around a couple of times before sitting down with you in his lap.

You carefully rested your cheek against his chest, hearing his heartbeat.

The words bubbled out, threatening to spill, but you held them back.

Not yet.

It'd never been easy for you to talk about your feelings, and yet the more time you spent with Lowell, the man who'd kidnapped you, the harder it became for you to not tell him how you felt.

After all, what would it say about you if you told your kidnapper you'd fallen in love with him?

So, even if you knew how you felt, you'd deny it for as long as possible.

Teaching people what yanderes are, and what they are capable of is very important I feel. Since many seem to not understand or only know of the more sanitized versions. Which can/have ruined their perception of what yanderes really are or can be beyond the "sweet romantic stalker with some violent moments" idea many are used to now.

But also, as it's been shown too much now...Though is more apparent now in this time. I think we gotta help teach people to better learn how to have some media literacy. As well, learn to better not engage with stuff that will upset them or isn't personally suited for them.

...Also learn to read in general, especially when it comes to rules about the games/characters they are about to engage with. Most especially if they are for a series that involves clear dark, mature, violent and unsettling themes and scenes.

If it's not too much of a spoiler, what chronic neurological illness does Lowell have? (Unless it's already posted somewhere and I just didn't notice, in which case my bad)

The conditions he has themselves are not spoilers! Lowell's primary diagnoses are Mixed Connective Tissue Disease and Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis that is starting to progress more rapidly. He also suffers from gastroparesis, which makes it incredibly difficult for him to eat properly, a thyroid disorder, and he was just diagnosed with the beginning stages of rheumatoid arthritis at the onset of the game.

Lowell has been ill since he was a child, but he grew up in a neglectful household so he didn't recieve necessary medical care, and he both went to culinary school and now works as a commercial baker. He was essentially able to push past a lot of his symptoms to appear able bodied and has worked well past his limits for a long time, at massive detriment to his body- he's starting to feel the effects of his conditions acutely, and his ability to maintain his job and live a relatively normal life are declining rapidly.

I'm sparing the gorey details of how his conditions effect him in the two milder routes, but they will be playing a large part in the croquembouche route.

Lowell's feelings of losing control within his own body highly inform his character and his actions, and are drawn in large part by my own struggle with chronic and progressive disabilities- we don't share all of our diagnoses, but Lowell does have a few conditions that I myself suffer from.

Normally I'd be so happy to write a small scenario for this, but it's a good time to address a couple of spoilers for the game as well as some notes about Lowell's yan proclivities!

First of all, bold of you to assume he's letting you out of his house. The period between you meeting Lowell and him taking you home is. Small. Even in a long term and committed romantic relationship he doesn't want to risk you getting away or getting hurt without having him there, and he'd much prefer you never leave the house at all. The most you'll probably get from him is supervised outings, and that's WITH a lot of trust that would take him a while to build up.

He's totally got a playboy bunny outfit for you already though, so that's the most realistic aspect of this situation.

Lowell is also less concerned with other people looking at or even flirting with/ fucking you all things considered. His personal view of your relationship is that he's got a deeper connection to you than anyone, and you to him. So he's not at all opposed to you being seen in provocative outfits or positions- you're HIS doll and he's happy to show you off.

I know this isn't quite what you were asking for but I hope it gives you some nice insight on his character!
