Maths Pure - 76% - A

Physics Paper 1 - 48% - C/D

Chemistry Paper 2 - 65% -B

I’ve got my pure maths paper tomorrow and I’m feeling pretty confident so that’s a nice change lol. I did the physics past paper today and (not literally) nearly shit myself and (literally) had a mental breakdown which was fun. Anyway. B in paper 3 which ain’t great but I didn’t read a couple of the questions properly and if I had had the mechanisms memorised it would have definitely been an A. After tomorrow I haven’t got an exam until Wednesday, when I have paper 1 physics and paper 1 chemistry, so this week is going to be fun.

Confidence levels:

Exams start Monday woohoo :I but I only have pure maths Monday and then all of Tuesday off so time to cram

I’m back with the shits, giggles and shenanigans. This time I’m going to post every grade I get, as I’ve started doing past papers for mocks, in the hope that the progress will be helpful I guess(?) idk. We’ll see.

Physics Paper 2/3 - 58% - B well it 0.7% off a C but I need everything I can get)

I’m worried but I reckon I can get this under control.

Literally can't wait until tomorrow, I have 5 lessons, 2 of which are finishing my EPQ production log, and I have to speak in an assembly before school, and go to an Oxbridge talk at lunch :( tjfdisfjk

It’s 2:39 pm and I’m just wrapping up most of the sections. Trying to get the content finished today, as per the original plan, ans then edit over the weekend.

12:05 pm. I went to bed shortly after 3 this morning but yay made lots of progress after you remove the non-content parts I have about 3900 words, so today I need to write 600 words that can finish my essay and the conclusion (which I might just plan today and then write tomorrow). Very happy right now

Oops I did nothing from the last post. It’s now 12:52 an and I’m preparing to write a lot before I go to bed. Just annotated a couple of articles, and now I need to find homes for the indicative info.

Word count: 3440

Actual word count is about 3167 (removing abstract, citations and subtitles). Conclusion should be 500 words, so I have 1333 words left of content. At the moment I just need to finish some section and start to fill in the gaps with analysis. It’s currently 4:17pm and hopefully by the time I go to bed I’ll have written a thousand (?) more words.

It’s now 4:34 am and I’ve done another 200 words and annotated an article kinda. I’m not working very effectively so the only logical solution is Big Bang theory and a chocolate bar I guess. I’m feeling a lot more optimistic than I was when I first started at 1:21 am but not out of the woods yet.

It’s 3:31am now and I am one can of Pepsi, 200 more words, another annotated article and an episode of Big Bang theory more into this mess.

Hello there.

Sooo this is the start of my blog I guess?? I'm not entirely sure where to start, but here goes:

I'm currently in the summer between year 11 and 12. I got my GCSE results two days ago (I'm very happy :) ), and next year I'm going to study maths, physics and chemistry alevel, and then self-study further maths (don't know whether or not I'm going to do the exams yet, it's a very long story). What else? I have a cat called Luna who is the actually scientifically the best cat ever (no, this is not up for debate).

- I assure you I do have other interests however I am very much blanking right now oops

I don't entirely know why I'm starting this. Partly for the *aesthetic* I suppose, mostly for motivation and holding myself accountable. As I'm typing this it kind of just feels like I'm throwing my thoughts into the total abyss that is the internet. Well that's about existential enough for one tumblr post. If anyone sees this, I hope you have a nice morning/day/evening(/life if you never see one of my posts again).
