It has been hard for me to talk about how what is going on with Israel and Palestine is affecting me personally, but I grew up in Gaza and most of my family still lives there. My father did not survive the bombings last week and I have not been able to contact my younger sister in days. I am try to being understanding that most people do not have personal connections to what is happening and therefore are justifying their silence, but is heartbreaking to see this misinformation being spread. What’s happening there is a genocide, not a war. It is not antisemitic to support Palestine, it’s not even antiemetic to criticise Israel. There is no grey area or neutrality regarding this, and it is so easy to find resources that will educate you on the subject. It is my people and my home being destroyed so I will never be silent about this, but I please urge everyone to get informed and start speaking up and finding ways they can help.

Homeless LGBT couple needs help with shelter/food! (PRIDE Edition!)

Hello everyone.

It's unfortunate, but things haven't improved much this past month. We have been struggling a lot with making ends meet and between the heat and both of us being sick, we're not holding up well. Right now, I'm just asking for help affording food and a motel room for us to shelter in while we recover and look for work. I cannot be outside too long right now in this heat and my stomach has been a mess so we really need a room. I'm trying my hardest to find a decent job to get us out of this mess but it's been slow going.

Hey guys. I have some horrifying news about one of the fundraisers. This listing belongs to a family that wants to remain anonymous but keeps contact with me and the organizer. I don't know how to say this, but one of the two beautiful daughters has been martyred as a result of an air strike. The neighbour's building collapsed on them from the impact. The situation is absolutely harrowing and they need your help. I just received news of this 5 hours ago as of drafting this post. Please do not hesitate to help them.
