DND character I was thinking up back when I had a friend who was rlly into DND. Was gonna be a tiefling ΒΏ rogue ? character. Don't remember what this guy's story was. Never got too far into it
And also me just tooling around with a metallic gold gel pen I got.

The fated day finally came!! Definitely was a stressful time. I made stands for the sticker promo board and the board I hung the posters on at the makerspace earlier in the day. Me and my friend also made cute little fandom labels for the stickers.
I invited quite a few of my friends to come hang out during this debacle. It was a blessing and a curse. One of my friends in particular kept on pissing me off by constantly nagging me abt how "increase profits." Actually got pissed off to such a high degree but I digress.
Anyways, the event was really cute. There were a LOT of vendors. Hot damn, was the room crowded. A lot of them were also seasoned vendors which was pretty crazy. I wish I had gone around and been more friendly to them, but I see why I didn't this event had me exhausted before it even began.
I ended up setting the pricing as: 3$ for one large sticker, 5$ for two large stickers, $1 for one small sticker, and $15 for one poster.

Things I learned:
Less clutter! The table was really overwhelming and I'd like space to put my laptop for excel tracking xP
Actually have people follow my art account for receiving my stamp for the stamp rally
Just chillll, have a good timee. It'll be a lot easier when I do it again because 90% of the work will already be done, but I still need to remember that this is for the fun sillies and that I don't need to focus on numbers at all.

According to my Excel sheet (which definitely is not 100% accurate because I forsure missed a few things), the data is as follows:
58 Stickers Sold
0 Posters Sold
Cost: 141.35
Revenue: 118
Profit: -23.35
Note: the cost includes sticker paper/some supplies that I didn't actually use, but because it was related I included it. Also, the vinyl was apparently 50$ which I swear it wasn't- never in my right mind would I buy that. Still put it in as 50$ because whtvr.
The most popular sticker designs were: The Knight (13), Coraline (7), and Grimm (6).
**Some of them were traded for other stickers / not exactly sold**
0 posters sold?? Yepppp. I think it's less of a pricing problem, but more of a people just weren't interested in the fandoms. I would've sold them for any amount of money tbh, but noone seemed interested. Plus, I tried to do a poster trade with someone and they declined because they weren't familiar with any of the fandoms. I mean I didn't know the fandoms their posters were about either, but ig a lot of people aren't interested in posters purely for the illustration π₯²π₯²
So I have a lot of posters... Teehee. I'll definitely try to sell them next year again (as I will with the leftover stickers), but I don't know if it'll make much of a difference. Hopefully, though πππ
Idk man it's strange because I genuinely look at those four pieces and am so proud that I made it. Like the craftsmanship yo. I can't tell if I'm genuinely just being delusional, but it's not like anyone close to me has given me the impression that they're actually terrible drawings either.
Ofc my own opinion is what matters most, and despite the doubt that the lack of sales for these posters has given me, it hasn't changed how much I absolutely love those pieces. Especially because the technique I used changes for each one. All of them give me a different thought of "I can't believe I made that" and takes me out of the whole 'I can immediately tell how I made that' mindset that I fall into when subconsciously trying to devalue my art/skills. I really have to think to recall the techniques I used to make each piece (O.K. maybe not the hellboy one but still), because they're all so damned complicated. Idk I love them a lot, but I will be forever a little bit bummed that other people don't love them as much as I.

Animation I made to showcase the movement and associated friction points (red) of the mechanism we made for DP4 π.
Just a quick lil animation, was funny busting this out.
OK. So krita 5.5.2 having ffmpeg just in the normal installation is so much more convenient than having to download it separately??? BRO I needed to get this done the day I started it and downloading ffmpeg was gonna take a whole day π. -7kB/s goofy ahhh
I ended up exporting the individual frames and uploaded them to openshot video editor to get the video. AND THEN openshot would not export as a .gif correctly so I exported as a .mp4 and then converted it to gif format w convertio π―ββοΈπ―ββοΈπ―ββοΈ
If I had just known I coulda just updated krita ππ©βοΈ. Would've saved me sm hassle π
Here's the start of an era. I started making sticker designs because I got a stickermule deal of 10 stickers for 1$. I thought that it meant 10 sticker designs (it wasn't LMAO), but the misconception was good because it made me make 10 different designs >:J
Starting off strong w a sandworm sticker because great monster sticker design,,, I should make a beetlejuice illustration sometime im obsessed
Anyways, I was way too motivated for this when I should have been doing classwork, but the heart wants what the heart wants.
I might go back and redraw it in a more tim burton esque style, but I also like it how it is so we'll see.
Also this is the start of me being consistent with my 'signature' and adding annoying ass watermarks because stickers are quite possibly the most stealable designs. (and I don't trust yall)

This is a canvas that i've painted a tree on 3 times. A whole repaint what was on it before to see my improvement. This is definitely the most drastic change. The first two was a tree centered in the canvas w leaves surrounded by green grass. I wish i'd taken pics of them π. Oh well
Painted this when me and my cousin went paint crazy at my house. Converted the table into a lil paint studio β€οΈ
(the pictures say it was painted in august, but I swear I thought I painted this the apr/mar of 2020)

I remember being unhappy with these, but they're pretty solid

Continuing with the airbrush supremacy πͺπͺ, sketching using an airbrush really helps me get general forms right without getting tunnel visioned on specific details

Inspired by John dies at the end. What David Wong, resident non-chinese protagonist, saw in the window of a Mcwongalds on a normal Tuesday morning.
Gr12 assignment where we could either choose this or a still life/realistic pencil drawing of a 'terrible beauty.' We got to choose between these two because there's just not enough time to do all of these assignments in a semester, and we've done still lives all 3 previous years. All the people who chose still life are cucks.
I don't have the linoblock anymore ππ. I forgot to steal it when I took all my artworks home and when I sent my friend to get it for me the next year they didn't have it ??!??!?!?! It must be in that art room somewhere rahh
Lining up the prints was soo hard. Especially for the last layer because there was so little material left on the block that it would really easily shift around. I was smart by picking this subject, though. Any extra red smears just add to the blood, and whenever they don't line up it just makes it more distorted and fucked up ππ

Final project for gr11 art that I did finish, but never submitted because they did a goofy thing where our summatives couldn't lower our marks.
Uhhh, ig I don't have any pictures of the finished project? It was a whole illusion thing of a hallway. I wasn't too happy with it when I first did it, but it's a solid idea. Prolly gonna revisit the illusion in the future, not sure if I'd take a stab at making this exact scene again.
