I've suddenly been hit with Yandere!Albedo x reader x Yandere!Tighnari brain rot.

Perhaps Albedo coercing- I mean convincing you to accompany him to Sumeru as his 'lovely assistant' to gather some unique mushrooms for his experiments, as well as get some much needed fresh air from being trapped on that damned mountain for so long. But because Albedo just can't resist eating the first new mushroom he comes across, you have to go out looking for help when he collapses and starts spouting lovey-dovey nonsense in his state of delirium.

Luckily (or unfortunately, depending on how you see it), Tighnari is out on patrol and knows this kind of situation quite well, much to his annoyance. Though he hates it when people yell, somehow, this new voice - though loud - is pleasing to his sensitive ears. Just something about that panicked voice rouses those predatory instincts inside in the best of ways.

So while Albedo is still recovering, Tighnari can't help but keep asking you about you and your 'relationship' with this alchemist. He wonders if maybe it's time for him to take on a new protégé. You couldn’t deal with Scaramouche.

And that was saying quite a lot, since your whole life you’ve been lauded for your saint-like patience and calm demeanour. In fact, that’s why you were chosen to be a caretaker for your most… Let’s say ‘interesting’ patient yet. But even you had your limits.

Some months ago, he was brought to the Bimarstan, though unconscious and wounded, and left in your care. At first you were hesitant, this was the man who almost replaced Kusanali as the God of Wisdom, but the thought of abandoning a patient in need didn’t sit right with you.

For weeks after he awoke, he spat venom and vicious threats at you and all the other doctors and nurses,  whenever he was brought medication, new bandages and even food and drink. Many of the others gave up quickly at the sight of his attitude. And, well, you couldn’t exactly blame them. However, you still had a job to do, even if it fell solely on you by default.

So, you kept trying. You put up with his insults and threats (ones you knew were empty, since he could not leave his room if he made good on his threats of killing you), and treated him with the same kindness and patience you showed all your other patients. And after a while, you could see his demeanour change.

It started when he stopped spouting out harmful words the second you entered the room, then he held back on the glares, then he let you get closer by the day. Soon, you were able to hand him the medicine directly, unlike previously, where you had to leave it on the bedside table. And now, he let you touch him without a single sign of protest. If anything, he welcomed your arms.

The other doctors and nurses are shocked at how little resistance he showed. One day, when you had the day off, they told you that he acted even more vicious to them than before, and demanded to know where you were.

Now you were back in his room, handing him a fresh pair of clothes, as well as his prescribed medicine. “Are you ready to begin physical therapy soon?” He nodded.

“Good. I’ll be back soon with the crutches-” When you stood up to leave, he grabbed a hold of your sleeve.

“No. Stay.” His voice was meek and soft. It stood in total opposition to the curses shouted at you in the beginning.

“I can’t. I have to go.”

He only pulled your arm closer to him, letting out a small whiny ‘no’ in response. You sighed and pulled your arm back. When he tried to grab back onto it, you stepped away from his bed and towards the door.

“Please don’t go.”

You couldn’t.

As soon as you closed the door you heard something fall. You peered through the small opening to see a familiar sight. There he was, fallen on the floor, pale in the face, breathing heavily and erratically, shivering like a leaf. Only the frightened mutterings of ‘where did you go’ and your name could be heard, along with sobs.

He has not gotten any better. If anything, you could say he has gotten worse.

You sighed. It was going to be one of those days again. Just like every other day before - and very likely - after.

You really couldn’t deal with him.
