Something about the way “Forger” and “Phony” both easily have the immediate meaning of being something fake, and yet Forging can still simultaneously mean creating something new with what you have now, while no such second definition exists for the word Phony.

I love Twilight and Nightfall’s blatantly obvious cover names being made up by Nightfall in that aspect—and on the flipside, Twilight choosing “Forger” on his own accord, probably not even realizing that its other meaning would ever be relevant. I just think they’re neat

I read a translation of the light novel and it mentioned there that it's been awhile since Twiyor had a date by themselves after the chin kick incident. Do you think this means that Loid really thinks Yor rejected him and is not interested in him at all so he's been keeping his distance dates-wise? I mean, he was right in reading Yor, she just didn't react the way he expected her to.

Yes. And actually, Twilight and Yor do not properly interact until the Cruise Arc after the Very Disastrous Date. Twilight kept his distance.

And why it’s cute when he tells Anya maybe they can search for Yor on the deck while they watched the fireworks. And why it’s cute when he got all flushed when Yor noticed him skipping. And that cryptic, intense look he gave her when Anya was playing with the sheep and it’s just the two of them standing together. And the little smile he gave when she collapsed onto him…

He thinks she’s rejected him and respects that choice. But it would seem he probably wishes for another outcome.

I actually love how Sylvia likes wearing lipstick and gaudy rings and pretty hats and dresses on the job. I just know she had to fight and claw her way to a top position in WISE during a time when women didn't hold higher positions like that, AND be taken seriously (to be fair that's still a problem but obviously it was much more in the past). I imagine she joined after her family was killed, but any trauma from that would be seen as "oh woman too emotional can't handle this" so she had to lock it all down and turned to steel. Fullmetal Lady style. and yet she still shows her own feminine style as a sort of 'f you' to everyone that doubted her :)
